Also mumbai is infamous for its wild and cruel behaviour towards its own citizen one can find this from how they behaive on roads. Some years ago a high court judge was slapped by some wadia person very unpopular for misbehaving with chori bhai ambani when he was climbing the fortune ladder.
Very interesting. Most are Parsis because their proximity to the British got them a lot of property and wealth. Mumbai, Pune and even in Kolkata they had large tracts of land
Parsi businessmen were some of the biggest beneficiaries of the British. The British considered them a better class of people than the indigenous population while the businessmen stayed loyal to the British and aspired to be of equal stature with them. Parsi businessmen have a murky past and most of their wealth is in some form bl00d money. With the far right push for Parsis' as the model minority this aspect of history will be lost. All that being I believe the average Parsi person is nothing like those evil businessmen that still rule over us today greasing palms of politicians and playing both sides.
When these lands were bought during the british raj, they weren't even part of Mumbai, which extended till today's mahim/bandra only and hence were bought at low prices.
And the govt slapped the Land Ceiling Act on the natives who owned much smaller parcels of agricultural land and paddy fields. They were forced and pressured to give up their lands to build the airport and university. There was little to no compensation. Lands were stolen and illegally acquired in the Western suburbs. Santa Cruz, Parla, Kandivali, Borivali, Poisar. Same at Thana, Kanjur, Vikhroli. People had houses clustered in Gaothans to look out for each other and aid community loving. And their gaothans were surrounded by fields. All of that was taken away by the Land Ceiling Limitations. And then the gaothans were slummified and displaced locals in the 90s thanks to gunda politicians who wanted to reap slum redevelopment benefits.
There could be others too as many properties in mumbai and greater mumbai area are under benami names as adhar card or pancard is not linked to the owner name in the deliberately non transparent way of keeping the land records or the property records. Both state govts and the central govt have propagated such a non transparent and obfuscated system of recordkeeping since they need to make money by corruption this way.

Why land is not being redistributed among Indians. Those who have accumulated land before independence should have have claim over that land as they got ownership of it by unfair means.
The owner of the biggest land parcels in Mumbai ate the squatters who illegally occupy the land and then abuse the political and legal system to arm twist the system into giving them huge compensation.
If these lands come under Pagdi system (i.e. Landlord -Tenant setup) then Section 79A of amended MHADA Act must be enforced on these lands. Bharat needs to get out of this Feudal mindset.
Indians were heavily taxed by British as a part of their oppressive policies but still those landlords managed to buy such huge area of land during British rule , how ?

Waqf land which adani ambani encroached thanks to- BrokerJP
Illegal is fine to encroach as per constitutional law , otherwise big bug ambani elephant marriage anant took huge DIAMOND Devastating OF GUJARAT LADIES AND KIDS PUPPET .. MAKING INDIA A BIG CRIME CAPITALISATION.... PEOPLE DIED, THEFT ROBBERY INCREASED, CHAINEDURDER CONTRACT KILLING , Culpable CRIM3 CONTINUITY SINCE COVID 19 PANDEMIC
And then WAQF board will say all these lands belongs to us 😂😂😂
I praise and feel how lucky they are to own so big lands in Mumbai. But mumbai is largly famous or say infamous for its slums around city. Also mumbai is infamous for its wild and cruel behaviour towards its own citizen one can find this from how they behaive on roads. Some years ago a high court judge was slapped by some wadia person very unpopular for misbehaving with chori bhai ambani when he was climbing the fortune ladder.
Read as dhiru bhai ambani instead of chori bhai please.
its 52% SLUMS why these rich land owners have no shame!
Very interesting. Most are Parsis because their proximity to the British got them a lot of property and wealth. Mumbai, Pune and even in Kolkata they had large tracts of land
Many of their lands were granted to them by the British Government for almost free
No Hiranandani
No Somaiya
No SVKM
Parsi businessmen were some of the biggest beneficiaries of the British. The British considered them a better class of people than the indigenous population while the businessmen stayed loyal to the British and aspired to be of equal stature with them. Parsi businessmen have a murky past and most of their wealth is in some form bl00d money. With the far right push for Parsis' as the model minority this aspect of history will be lost. All that being I believe the average Parsi person is nothing like those evil businessmen that still rule over us today greasing palms of politicians and playing both sides.
Thank you so much mame for this knowledge 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
what about land ceiling act for them?
When these lands were bought during the british raj, they weren't even part of Mumbai, which extended till today's mahim/bandra only and hence were bought at low prices.
How does waqf board control. Try to analyse that also
Why land sealing do not apply on them
Greed greed greed
while rest of Indian's and farmers have to suffer land ceiling act these guys how they r allowed to keep such parcels.
@@Mojo-vu4hr Trusts ..... trusts have been best bypass road to Land Ceiling Act.

Ati sundar...
Mam this is situation in Pune also mam
Dlf parswanath, unitech, jp are biggest in Delhi and also Mumbai some above company
There is a correction.. second largest land is owned by makhecha trust of thane ..( GREATER THAN 1000ACRES)
Amazing !
Waqf borad and churches: How did you forget me?
There could be others too as many properties in mumbai and greater mumbai area are under benami names as adhar card or pancard is not linked to the owner name in the deliberately non transparent way of keeping the land records or the property records. Both state govts and the central govt have propagated such a non transparent and obfuscated system of recordkeeping since they need to make money by corruption this way.
Parsis
Beautiful Mangroves.
Why only 34000 acre is habitable out of 1 lakh acre ?
Probably the one of the potential reason of failure of land reforms and poor implementation of laws.
What about the politicians who are big land sharks?
What about WAKF ?
Lower middle class hardly have 1-5 acre land in their name individually and poor class probably have only 1 acre land for each individual or even less.
Why so much inequality?
Why this issue not addressed yet?
All these parsis were boot lickers of East India company and Britishers that's why they got all of these huge amount of land and money since then.
Incorrect information. WAQF has grabbed a bigger portion of land in Mumbai and the rest of India.

Aren't they builders?
Also please cover the indirect and direct assets owned by MLAS and MPs through their relatives or known ones you will get mind boggling facts. If they liquidate that entire poverty in India a will be solved but that won’t happen.
Wheres Ambani propert
So where is the catch fishing.
Why land is not being redistributed among Indians.
Those who have accumulated land before independence should have have claim over that land as they got ownership of it by unfair means.
You forgot waqf
So the native koli community prefer to stay in slums instead of selling to these landlords which bjp is trying to do .
They worked hard for it, stop shaming them for their blood and sweat.

That's power.
Original residents are poors and these outsider parsis are occupying thousands of lands.
Govt should seize the Excess and unused land
And we’re still talking about reservations, ignoring the elephant in our country., thanks mint for raising it! ❤
3rd highest would have been me if only my grand grand father wouldn't have done blunders

Indians were heavily taxed by British as a part of their oppressive policies but still those landlords managed to buy such huge area of land during British rule , how ?
