    Love hearing the Adams Family Theme playing while you are looking at shirts.

      Wow, you have a sharp ear! Yes, that was the Addams Family theme playing in the store. Adds a quirky touch, doesn't it? Thanks for your comment!

    Always fascinating to see all the different products! So many neat and unique products that you don't see at all in north america! I remember waiting in long line-ups at the tax-free checkout counters also at drug stores. That shabu-shabu restaurant is so neat. It looks so nice! i want to try!😋

      Yes, Japanese products do have a unique charm! Sometimes, you even come across items and wonder if they're really necessary.
      Shabu-shabu is great because it's low in calories, lets you eat lots of vegetables, and is overall very healthy 👍Thanks for watching!✨

      For that reason I skip the Duty free lines. Yeah they were long depending on when and where. Go at off hours~

    Does anyone know if I have to buy my snacks from duty free section or can I just buy anywhere?

    • @EverydayShopping_inJapan
      @EverydayShopping_inJapan  Год назад +2

      If you want to buy snacks duty-free, you need to purchase them at the register on the 7th floor. However, if you're okay with paying an extra 10% without the duty-free discount, you can buy them at the registers located on nearly every floor, but they won't be duty-free.

      @@EverydayShopping_inJapan perfect thank you, that’s what I was curious on. Is there a certain day when these stores have lots of item in stock? Want to buy a lot of snacks to bring back home

    • @EverydayShopping_inJapan
      @EverydayShopping_inJapan  Год назад

      @@alejandrotobar737 The candy section on the 2nd floor tends to sell a lot, so the staff are constantly replenishing the stock.
      Don Quijote in Shibuya operates 24 hours a day, but there might be less restocking during the late-night hours.
      If you're interested in buying items in bulk, I believe the staff will be as accommodating as possible if you inform them of your needs
      (they might have additional stock in the back, for example).
      In terms of language, the staff on the floor might not be able to engage in a conversation.
      You might find it easier to shop if you show them translations in Japanese, or try to communicate using simple English words. Be creative and don’t hesitate to try! Good luck!

    What day and time do you recommend to visit this branch to avoid huge crowds? Thanks!

    • @EverydayShopping_inJapan
      @EverydayShopping_inJapan  Год назад

      Thank you for watching😊
      Generally, mornings on any day except Sunday are less crowded. Particularly, Monday and Saturday mornings are the least crowded, so I recommend those times. Be careful, as the wait time for the registers can be quite long when it's busy.

    I watched your previous vlog and I noticed that the KitKat matcha flavor is cheaper in Don Quijote than in the supermarket. Do they have the same contents (in grams)?

    • @EverydayShopping_inJapan
      @EverydayShopping_inJapan  Год назад +2

      Thanks for watching my videos closely! 😊💗That's an incredible observation!
      Just like you mentioned, the matcha KitKat I showed previously from the supermarket came in a pack of 10, while the one at Don Quijote is a 7-pack. The price per piece seems pretty much the same, though.
      Good catch! 👏✨

      Absolutely 😄! There's an incredible variety of sweets here. Besides the staple items, finding some of them can be quite the adventure. It's a sweet lover's paradise!💗
