I have the baby brother of this one, and though limited in capabilities, it’s still a lot of toneful fun!
i already have some compressor pedals so bought the lesterK few years ago. It sounds like a beast, still perfect for the guitar. Great video!
I recently picked up a used Strymon Lex V1 and it the pedal I never knew I needed. Fantastic sound and reasonable on the used market.
The strymon lex is hard to replace...I even use a real rotary cabinet I built and still keep the lex on my board and use it in conjunction with an expression pedal for parts where I need to ramp up/down frequently because the lex nails that
Nice one Jack, It's a really smooth sound that I have'nt heard in a long time. I still like that blue tele on the wall behind you and am awaiting paitiently to here it!!
I love bound telecasters.
My dream guitar would be a double bound sunburst tele, and that's coming from a Les Paul lover.
Absolutely fantastic have a wonderful weekend Jack ❤😊
Great demo Jack. An effect I have always liked 😁
I have a Leslie pedal that I only ever used in mono for a few years until I just recently decided to plug it into two of my amps. Cripes. It’s the only way I can use it now. There’s just no going back. I’ve never been into stereo effects with any other types of effect before - I pretty much hate hearing delays ping-ponging back and forth or any effect that hard pans sounds left and right in that sea-sickening way. But the way the treble and bass move at different rates in a Leslie is just addictive and not nauseating in the slightest degree. Hot tip: if anyone has problems with frequency spikes or the midrange cut that can inherently happen with a Leslie, try putting a mild compression AFTER the Leslie. I found it interesting that the Lester G puts it before, because in my experiments, putting it after evens out frequency issues the best, because it controls the extreme frequency ranges the effect is prone to, rather than just compressing your dry guitar signal before it gets modulated.
Good comment about the compressor.
Great stuff tuff guy!!! Thank you Jack!
I agree with you on both the sound of the Lester G, as well as the overall quality of ehx pedals. My only dislike of their stuff is the size of the enclosures... they are all REALLY BIG.
Oh well... That's a "me" problem. ✌️🇦🇺
Edit... had to correct a spelling error.😢
For that price, It's kind of a bargain given what it does and how it compares price-wise with Leslie pedals north of $300. This makes it a bit more budget friendly all things considered. I'd have to pick up a few more gigs where I could actually use one. Most of my gigs are organ trio hits but...why not have fun with some dualing organ sounds? Thanks Jack!
I use a Tech 21 Rotochoir or the rotary mode in my NUX Mod Core Deluxe..
I like the Lester but for the money the NUX is remarkable - and the Tech 21 is as good as any Rotary pedal I've ever heard or played. It has switchable Leslie cab sim and the options of either both horn and lower speakers rotating or a stationary lower with just the horn moving. Stereo I/O with ramping up and down via a speed footswitch like the Lester. It's similar to the Lester in those respects.
Discontinued tho.
how would it work with a hammond b3 organ
Forgot; surviving the end of times would be Keith Richards, Cockroaches, & Mike Matthews (making pedals for Keith Richards.)
Marvelous pedal! Is it analog or digital?
My dumb ass read this and thought "Well...I don't think there are rotating speakers inside that pedal."
@@AaronAnonymity HAHAHA You mean there's not? Anyway, I did wonder if there were a method of doing that sound without an ADC, DSP, DAC, etc.

Slow strength just seems weak to me and I was using headphones.
Be cool if you A/B it with the one that doesn't have the comp, but who wants to spend another $200 on a pedal that does the same exact thing
Regarding Keith Richards and cockroaches seeming immortality, there's an old joke...
So God is instructing Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, the rules about apples, watch out for tricky snakes, etc. Eve notices this old guy sitting up against the forbidden tree drinking a mystery beverage, and asks God "So who's that guy?" God says "Oh that's just Keith Richards, he was here when I arrived".
*ba-dum*
Hilarious . . . because he actually Looks-like-it could be True. Stones still Rockin though.
