Welcome back! Please also make an episode on singing at high pitch and breathing and exhaling positions while singing a song. Also tell how to practice for high pitch singing and to avoid breathlessness while singing.

Welcome back Anuja! I really missed your insightful videos and am delighted to see you back in action again.I really look forward to your new series. Good luck!
Great to see you back. More than anything else I admire your exceptional ability as a teacher which needs not just in-depth understanding but deconstruction of that understanding so that one can identify exactly where a new learner will falter and address it accordingly....that is a mark of a great teacher. And as a doctor this series entices me as well to do some experiments with a bronchoscope. Thank you.
Wow what a surprise Anuja ji....you are back to your channel... I had subscribed your channel 2 years back..till then you had stopped posting..but still I kept it subscribed because I had a little feeling that you will be back soon with your valuable videos..& thanks for coming back.
It is very obvious that you really enjoy what you do! Teaching, though an art, also requires passion and you possess it in abundance. Your dancing eyes are irresistible! While on the subject of factors affecting voice quality, as you pointed out, type of food has little effect on it; but what is inhaled can seriously affect the voice e.g. smoking, highly polluted environment.
Glad to see you back ! Your one song different raag video is one of the most educational things I have ever saw on RUclips. Hope to see more content like it 🙂
Thanks dear Anuja, for making this video! Nowadays it is very common amongst the youngsters as they chat with their friends for a very long time on their mobile and don't really give rest to their vocal chords which might cause problem later on ! You have helped a lot of youngsters who will watch this video ! God bless you ! ✋😃
Aapke tricks itne simple aur aur easy hai ki bilkul naya music lover ko bhi professional musician bana sakta hai 🙏💕👌👍 Thanks thanks Aapki aawaz bahut madhur aur professional hai please aap apna song record karaiye please 🙏 💕🎤🎹
Hi Anuja! You’re doing a great job. I’ve been following you from long time, learned a lot from you. And, It would be a great help if you can share some tips for protecting voice while practicing(riyaz)/singing etc. and some do’s and don’ts for protecting voice and making it effective as well. Thank you🙏
wow you're back.....hope you are healthy and well. All the very best for all your endeavours. I have been following your art and storytelling on your Instagram. Loved it.
Finally Aunja didi is back Look suits you didi😍 Ab pir se RUclips se break mat Lena, We missed you a lot your lessons ☺️🎼🎵🎶 Anuja didi is back Anuja Didi is back 😄
I loved your talk. I lost my voice 22 years ago. It became hoarse leaving a gap between the folds with air escaping. I talk well enough to function but I just cannot even hum. I used to sing Mukesh’s songs , not anymore. I am 82 and I am getting injection of Larangoplasty this month end. Do you think I can sing again.
What about Humming? It is definitely not a voice but a sound which has some pitch, timbre etc right? Can you elaborate little on Humming please. Thank you for the wonderful series of informative and useful videos.
Beautiful explanations! Since the series has ended, I am not sure how you'd respond to the queries posted here. IMHO the best approach would be to post a FAQ episode. Thanks in advance! Many vocal coaches recommend two best-practices: (a) gargle with salt water every night, and (b) sip warm water from a flask during the performance. Are these practices really effective in a scientific context? Secondly, all singing coaches talk about the importance of warming exercises before doing the riyaz. What are these warming exercises? How do they improve the vocal cords? Thirdly, coaches also say that we can extend our tonal range gradually, by singing our present highest note for as long as we can manage, and repeating it. The next day our vocal cords are able to produce a still higher note. Is that true? and if yes, what is the working principle?
This was very informative. Extremely grateful for all the info! I do have some questions though: 1. Can GERD affect your voice? 2. If you get teeth alignment surgery(post wisdom teeth removal), is that something that can affect your voice? ( I'm curious because I've seen various cite Freddie Mercury's teeth contributing to his sizeable vocal range).
Those are some interesting questions! Acid reflux is a tricky subject. Some health specialists say it does affect voice production while the others say it has no direct effect on vocal folds so doesn’t directly affect voice production. However, Acid reflux might cause uneasiness in the pharynx and thus could lead to difficulty/irritation while trying to talk. About vocal range: vocal range depends only and only on the thickness and length of the vocal folds. Articulators like teeth do not determine vocal range. Hope this was helpful!
🙏 . WANTED TO ADD SOMETHING. WE DOCTORS ALWAYS ADVISE STEAM INHALATION TO PATIENT SUFFERING FROM HOARSENESS/LARYNGITIS TO REDUCE INFLAMMATION. YOU BOTH SISTERS ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEBLE.
Madam I really liked ur 7 episodes of voice education....recently I was suffering from nodules on vocal codes....can u pl give some tips to get rid of this like vocal exercise, breathing or precautions etc...I loved yr way of presentation..God bless u.
Woww , incredibly said and presented. Streak of musical enlightment experience backed up with scientific information. Definitely interested in upcoming videos. Are you also a voice coach?
Hello You have given really good knowledge about voice....Now I have some Questions.... The thing is that I stopped singing for three years when a voice convert from childish to an adult... After that I am singing from 10 years doing riyaaz as well ... The problem is that my bass has not been opened yet. I can’t go below KALI PANCH...Also my range changes frequently...And the last and the main thing is that I have to change the places in throat for singing...Like sometimes I have to just sing with nose or head voice or sometimes with whole throat without using nose....Because after some interval I lose my voice and have to start singing differently... Can u pls suggest me any exercise or anything can help me????
Eagerly waited for your videos since you kept your channel paused. Though i am not a music learner but your teaching skills make everyone interested an i wish I could have got someone like you to teach me music when i learnt a bit of it and left due to no interest. One quick q, Do you take classes?
Mam, do you need help with audio? Pure, unconditional help, nothing else, as a really admire your work. The audio in your videos have some issues (loudness, to be specific) which I have the knowledge to handle technically. I just wish you be able to deliver your knowledge smoothly through your videos without any issue.
When after a bit of sleep or waking up somewhere in the middle of the nigh or very early in the morning and talking I have noticed my voice has a bit more bass than normal... So I am thinking is it a good time to start singing session ...or it will not be a good idea
Hi Anuja, this is really wonderful information. Subscribed now and truly looking forward to next series.
