    I am a CA student. If you ask a CA student why are you doing CA, most of them will answer "I want my name to be CA Manish Thakur and command respect in society" and not like how much resource will I be able go generate through this course.
    This shows how status driven culture is still prevailing in Gen Z too

      @@adityaahuja2209 I would suggest don't join CA if have no plans. Just doing as a back up won't bring much success.
      Doing CA takes hours of study, 3 years of full fledged internship (8-10 hours) along with 3-4 hours kf coaching. If you are not interested in course you are doing, you will burnout real quick and lose interest. I am in same situation. Better you find your interest.

    Important Learnings :
    1. Eg: if you buy a Reliance Stock, the entire Reliance Family is working for you while you sleep, and the stock price increases, Power of Investing.
    2. In Short - Time is Money, USE YOUR TIME TO LEARN SKILL. Period.
    3. If your Income Grows and your expense also Grows, than your savings remain the same, Then how and what you gonna Invest?
    4. Money Buys you Freedom.
    5. Always have a positive Networth. Like Eg : if your salary is 15k and you are buying iphone of 80k, then status toh aa gaya but your Networth is negative Bruh.
    6. Jeff Bezos Example at 12:31 is Mindblowing.
    7. Talk about things that are Long-Term, Never gonna change and will be there Forever.
    8. Be Impatient with Actions and Patient with Results.

    1) Seek wealth not Money or status
    Wealth= asset while you sleep
    Money= process to transfer time and wealth
    Status= Ur place in society.
    2) people who live far below their means enjoy freedom, people busy upgrading lifestyle can't fathom.
    3) play long term games with 'long term people'= like online fast shipping is a long term trait that won't change.

    I'm a little confused. Who are you saving the money for? Let's say, you live a minimalistic life. Don't spend much. Save all you can. Don't buy the t-shirt you like. Or the gadget you had your eye on. After years of saving and investing and so on and so forth, you've accumulated a huge amount of wealth. What then? What would you do with it? Would you spend it then? On things you might not even be interested in. I understand saving and investing but not buying things you like, things that can make you happy, is a little beyond me.

    • @MayankRoyYT
      @MayankRoyYT 3 года назад

      You're saving for a rainy day. No one knows what tomorrow holds.
      This leads to overthinking about it. If we already have saved, we are free from that burden and can solely focus on the present.
      Also, unforseen circumstances may bring a hit to our finances, Covid is the best example. If you lose your job, these savings will protect you and your family.

    • @namanpincha1067
      @namanpincha1067 3 года назад

      @@MayankRoyYT Fair argument. I had a CA friend who lived paycheck to paycheck. He had no savings and he seemed to have no problem with the idea. I see the merit in saving and investing but I guess what I don't see is how will one decide on a particular lifestyle without actually trying out things he wants to. You'll have rainy days, sure, but it's sunny today. A walk in the park shouldn't hurt.

    • @MayankRoyYT
      @MayankRoyYT 3 года назад +1

      @@namanpincha1067 yes, I feel somewhere in between is a better choice. I'd actually save the necessary amount and then spend the rest.
      Also I don't agree with Ankur's argument of Netflix is waste of money. For someone who's had a tough day at work, entertainment provides relaxation and time to switch off. Focus better the next day.
      Once you have saved necessary, you can freely spend the rest without worry.

    • @khudanpursandeep
      @khudanpursandeep 3 года назад +1

      Try to get to a point where your investments can provide enough returns so that you don't have to work. Then you can spend your time as you wish. You can work a low paying job that you enjoy, you can start a business or you could simply relax.
      I agree with the other comment though, moderation is the key. You don't have to deprive yourself but make sure you are putting adequate money aside to reach financial freedom.
