The main reason IMO, the Bucs' winning ways are sustainable is simply this - The offense is running a system that's still very new to them: 1). The O-line played ZERO downs together in a preseason game! It takes way more than 4 games for an O-line to acquire good chemistry (and chemistry is the most important thing for O-lines to have.) 2). All other starting QBs got all the preseason game reps with their 1s. (Baker got HALF.) On top of that, almost all other starting QBs have spent at least a season or two building timing with their favorite targets. Mayfield has none of that with any of his targets.
Good Content. When it comes to the Eagles rushing attack you forgot to mention that the Eagles have one of the best line in the league which helps a back like swift to be more effective. That won't be the case when the Bucs face Detroit which is a very winnable game for the Bucs, Falcons can't throw the ball and their line isn't good enough to rely solely on the run, Texans don't have enough talent to keep up with the Bucs, and the 49ers are far better so I will give you that. Overall the Buc's remaining schedule isn't as difficult as you deem it to be. The Bucs on offense will only get better when they get more in tune with the scheme and if the Bucs defense can stay healthy, they're easily a top 5 defense. The Bucs are in good shape
good line not great and the bucs just beat the saints with a good but not great line and both backs you mentioned are good but not as good as swift and bucs defense is built to stop the run and if the bucs secondary is healthy it will be a long day for Goff @@Wenzan3pm
That’s a good point. I think Detroit and Atlanta will be a good test to see how the Bucs front seven fairs against some more upper tier offensive lines.
Still stuck on the Brady to Baker thing huh? We've been one of the stingiest run defenses in the past. Best believe we'll adjust. Eagles are the freaking Eagles man.
@Gwright...the analyst is wrong...Eagles were an outlier to the fact , were they not at championship conference last season? yeah , we loss that one ...duh !...then bounced back comfortably, yes , comfortably beating the Saints which in past gave us major problems...Baker made the difference, he's elusive escaping pass rush and extremely accurate throws even on the run...and by the way...he has a sidearm also...just sayin'...
They were lucky to win game 1 but they did everything possible on offense to protect the ball and not turn the ball over. They can rip more yards now that the offensive line has had 4 games of snaps together.
Baker was a former top who got shitted on by the Browns over some stupid shit Buccaneers were still a playoff team after Brady left. People buying this team drafting top five was almost as irritating as the ones who thought that QB competition wasnt a joke.
The 3 for 10 on long passs, 3 incompletions were two handed drops. You're not watching the games to see that TDs were left on the field.
not a tampa fan but i think yall sleeping on baker
I don't think Baker's hot streak isn't going to last that long
@maskedman5657 you must be Trask's dad😂

The lions have a high grade offensive line too not eagles tier but both Montgomery and Gibbs are unstoppable

indeed and also, Detroit and ATL defense is going to have to face an offense that will be improving @@stutteringsports5853

Never agreed on anything more
Where’s that background music from?
It sounds like a 70's porn movie😂
Baker just needed the right team!!!!!!!
I don't hate Baker for one reason.... He can move! Brady couldn't move, so that's an upgrade if he passes the ball well and protect it.
I’m a Steelers fan and that was a fun thing to see after Ben retired
Eagles would lose in a Tampa Bay rematch, guaranteed!
Cleveland f***ed up when they let Baker go. And they should not have played him hurt the last year there. Browns let me down big time. 😐😐😐😐
