Caribou Crossing is owned by Sazarac who also owns Buffalo Trace. From what I understand it's bottled at Buffalo Trace, using (most likely) mash bill #2, which would include Blanton's and Rockhill Farms. The bottle is a RHF bottle with a topper similar to Blanton's but it's a *caribou* instead of a horse, the juice is a proofed down Blanton's, and the name is a play on Buffalo Trace. It's the "Canadian Blanton's" but unlike Blanton's they don't label any of the barrel or bottling info. That said they only release it twice a year which is less than Blanton's, so I'm not sure which would technically be more "rare"

    Enjoyed the review, cheers guys🤙🏻

Calling it a traditional single barrel is wrong. They dump a bunch of barrels together and blend them to a flavor profile, then dump the juice back in a barrel for a “period of time” before bottling it as a “single barrel”. It was only a single barrel long enough to print the bottle label.
