A couple things. 1, there is no reason to turn the bike off on the descents, so don’t. There will be times when you need the power to boost up and over obstacles or off a jump or out of a tight turn or an uphill transition. 2, get a long travel ebike. Mine is 190/200mm travel with a full power Bosch race motor and it’s full 27.5! It’s by far the best bike I’ve ever ridden/owned. Even better than my full DH bike.

ymmv but I leave assist on low while going down but we have a lot of grade reversals in my region.
Also, getting used to shifting an eMTB takes a bit to get used to but once you are hitting things in the right gears for the motor's power band it is hard to find places to stall out and I'm not even very good in general - I used to race a bunch of XC marathon category races but that is a totally different riding style and short travel, even hard tails sometimes.

Slack headset cup and low bottom bracket gives you a 63.5 head tube angle. That should make the steep stuff feel much better.

Better work out and feels more natural. acceleration is the initial burst, so you can take that off if you want. They sell about 3-4 levos for each kenevo (I worked a few months at a spz store) so generally it's better to show levos, and if it survives what Jordan will throw at it, it serves the purpose to show that you don't really need all that travel.

@pietrocampanocruz5071 Yeah, I believe specialized sells way more Levo models, leaving the Kenevo the underdog. After watching Jordan's upload today, the levo definitely shows its lack of travel and struggles. He said it himself.
I get promoting the flag ship, but being Kenevo sales are weak, promoting the Kenevo in the hands of Jordan makes sense, especially attracting enduro/dh riders to the Eb market.

Ebikes are awesome. I get 3 times the amount of DH runs in and fly past the folk pushing up. It’s a no brainer.

Need to upgrade to the new gopro to really show how steep things are the older one still makes so many things seem just a slight downhill when we know its technical and steep

The thing about E-Bikes is that today everyone gets one never uses it offroad, never services it and then they wonder why it doesnt work anymore and thats just one really good bike gone to waste and thats why I don't like certain E-Bikers. but people who get an E-Bike but still own and ride regualr bikes are completley normal and should be respected like every other mountainbiker gets treated as well. But still every time I see an E-Biker next to me or on the road I always try to be faster than them and I have no god damn clue why. It just feels good to me :)

You can always tell the people who have never ridden an e bike, just by their comments! Lol I’ve rented that bike in a mullet and loved it!!
