Dope video man! Not only did you make a sick fishing kit but you basically told us all the basic lures a begginer bass angler could use for any body of water, weather, day, place etc. Awesome!

Same tackle box I use for my everyday fishing setup. I have two of them and put a few bags of plastics in the big compartments. The only things I'd add are a jerkbait/rapala a #4 mepps spinner, and some senko type worms. Pretty much what I keep in my daily boxes. If I'm fishing my home lake I add some bigger northern pike lures like a jumbo johnson silver minnow.
That blue handle type tackle box, harbor freight has the same ones for $4-$5. I use them a lot because they stack. I keep them in my service truck for electrical connections. Got a few now to organize my lure making kits for beads and weights.
Great video on your DIY tackle box. Great tips as well as I am just getting started at 58 with bass fishing. Always was interested in learning all there was an is to know about bass fishing my mom an dad did the bass fishing while us girls did the crappie an bream fishing . just never got around asking for instructions an hands on learning how so here I am this is something big on my bucket list of things to do as far as fishing goes so thank you I watch all your video's. So keep up the good teaching an I'll keep on learning.
I am up north right now and I’m fishing in the creeks catching a lot of bass and I’m using a Texas rig and like you guys Say you will always catch fish with a Texas rig and I’m using worms but plastic ones and they were like a charm very happy to be watching you make your kid
I love the flambeau quotient terminal tackle box you say is heavy duty. best terminal tackle box ive ever owned. hooks and weights stay in place, a variety of bin sizes, and all the bins can be pulled out to make it easier to get small hooks and beads out.
Love this. Earlier this spring I gave a spinning combo to one of my wife's friends (who don't fish) son. It was a Medium light spinning rod I figured would work for both bass and panfish. At the time I gave him a couple twister tail jigs in a tiny tackle tray along with it. We will be visiting them in Sept, and I think I might have to put one of these together for him but with some modifications to take into account the med-light rod. That's a good amount of baits for $22.
Ya I've got a diy fishing kit it's called a tackle box. And some trays got 5 dollars worth of stuff some have almost a 100 dollars worth of stuff in fact it's got 4 removal trays 2 for crappie 1 for bass and 1 for rooster tail and fun fishing. Then the rest of my pouches r for catfish and I carry live bait here and there and extra hooks and line so ya it's called a tackle box

I was just telling a parent who was saying that it was too expensive for their kid to fish that I could show them a kit for under $20they could do for their kid. I went to my truck and put a little kit together for the young man and gave it to him, but I wrote a list of the baits the parents could get to refill it that were cheap and would catch him fish. They were so amazed that you could budget fish! I see the whole family out fishing now from time to time! Keep up the awesome vids brother!!!!

I lived in Jacksonville Fl from 1992 to 2017. Great fishing in the St Johns river at times south of town toward Palatka FL. Gigantic bluegills and bass around the boat docks.
When Texas rigging something, I always use a 4/0 straight shank flipping hook. I prefer the owner jungle flipping hook. But when I throw big worms like 13-16 inch worms I use a 7/0 wide gap owner hook
Nice kit! Minus the soft plastics I literally just bought all the exact same lures for my tackle box. This just made me feel like I am learning something lol. Tight lines brother.

Good video, I buy Walmart lures all the time. but when i 1st bought tackle after i bought my Kayak was the Walmart video where you picked 5 Walmart Ozark lures. went to Walmart and they had put all 5 of your lures together. in a package. with different versions. I bought 2 of them. both different. going to buy another assortment. now maybe they will put a package together like you just made. In my Kayak I can't carry my large tackle box so i have to pick what i want to use for that day. so the little kit is a great ideal. keep making the down to earth sensible fishing videos. I fish on a 36 year old Zeb Classic 33 Spincast Reel and Rod which the total number of fish I caught in 36 years can be counted on 2 hands. Therefore losing (not if, when) a $1-2 lure is less painful than a $5-6 lure! Just saw your YUM Bass Fishing Kit from Walmart and just bought one! My kind of gear! Lojo I would be interested in watching you do a kids lure challenge to see if they can really catch fish. I seen some in Walmart they had a kids spinner bait, jig, and chatter bait.
I have one of these, pretty basic, like 4 hooks and weights, 1-2 of 10 different soft plastics, a frog, and a chatter bait. It's a tiny box so I can slip it into my pocket. Pretty much being down here in florida sometimes you dont wanna take the backpack so a pocket kit is super nice.

I have left them in plastic containers over the winter (we are in Maine) and come spring a lot of them seem to be melted not only together but also to the cases..
My favorite hook is a extra wide gap Because when your Texas rigging a worm the gap makes the worm nice and straight sence the gap kinda brings the tip of the hook the top top of the hook

I would love to have a Walmart like yours. We have a total of 2 options for jigs and spinner baits, and NO HOOKS.

Some jig knowledge.
You can tune them based on the skirt.
If their is even a slight angle in the trailer it will affect it way more than you think.
