I like to see the failures along with the successes. Shows me that everyone has those rough days. Went bass fishing with a bud yesterday, he did pretty good, but all I got was 3 chain pickerel over the 6 hours we were out on the lake in our kayaks. Keep the videos coming!

I used to use them extendable cane poles and 4 to 6 pound line and use them fly poppers for big blue gill I catch for flathead bait
I do the same thing! Fly fishing for bluegills with them lil poppers is fun and yes there a dam good bait for big flat heads

The kit come with three sizes of ballhead jigs with big hooks and barbs good enough to use with Elaztech baits. The Crawbugs themselves are the most realistic shaped baits I've ever bought, great for clear water bedding bass. The 3.25" black and blue Crawbug can't be purchased outside of that kit. SWMO Fishing 2 You just taught me how to rig a tube in one sentence. Been fishing for 25 years... Found a tube once and couldn't figure it out but wanted to try it lol. Caught a bass on it fishing it on a Texas rig. Thank God bass aren't that bright...
The hole is for the jighead to push thru, to the tail bend, hook ends up being out the top front of the face. There’s a slot in the tail, for the head and line tie.
Hook does come out top and its hollow so it stands up like a real craw lightens weight

River smallies love those. Been fishing those for years, along with the Madmans brand. Btw, it's a tube bait. Jighead goes in the hole, eyelet pops out the tail top, then tie. Pretty basic stuff.
Im a budget fisherman so I can appreciate the budget fishing challenges! Lol Anyways I've done almost all my fishing at night this summer due to the hot weather and that's when I've caught my biggest fish,I think it would be dope if you could do a night fishing challenge! Love the channel bro.
You could also do a $25 fishing kit with only bass pro shops lures
Its always good to see you guy go through what we go through when we go out (shows your human side). Otherwise it gives us a false sense of reality. Those are the only size fish we've been catching recently. Unfortunately...

I bought one of those the other day, used the black & blue craw on the back of a jig an caught some nice ones.
I can't believe you thought the way to rig it was to do it upside down.
glad i checked the vid out because i forgot about the floating worm kit. they are the best colors for the neko/wacky rig, wacky drop shot, drop shots and shakey heads when the fishing gets tough
The zoom is pumpkin seed I caught my first 3 pound bass off that worm at 9 years old

Orange and green look wonderful under water. I use 3/0 gamagatsu ewg (red) weed less in the claw. Bass tear em up especially on the drop

The craw is hollow on the upper body so it sits in a defensive stance and the hook goes through the tail and out the top. I never used the hooks since they're flimsy and not worth losing a big fish. I gave up on the crawbug after an hour lol. After watching this i picked up 6 6th sense cranks including this killer looking swank. Great video as always

When the bass fishing is rough I change species! If you want to keep making bangers maybe try for carp/cats etc
I do the same thing dude, love bass and catfish and when the bass are not active I go for the cats, love using live shad and bluegills on a Carolina rig works Everytime, and let's not forget about good ol reliable, chicken livers!
I fish those flys with a clear bobber and a 3ft leader of 4-6lbs. I do this for the big red ears we have when there on the next or stage up for the nest. Fun fun.
Dude, don't sleep on the YUM Crawbug. It is the best bedding bass lure ever made. YUM Crawbugs are the TRUTH. That kit is the real deal; a great box, three sizes of jigs, and a great variety of 2.5" and 3.25" Crawbugs. I don't think you can buy those black and blue colors outside of that kit. I wish I could find those kits more often.
To fish those craw bugs the hole in the middle is to put the jig inside of the bait and then tie it on. Works better on a ned rig.

Fly fishing is super fun and is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Fighting Bass on fly tackle is super fun. You should definitely try it out.

two options to rig the thing. 1. like you did but have the hook come threw the to of the bait. 2. you could rig it like a tube. weight at the tail of the bait with the hook threw the top of the bait.

I use this bait all the time for small mouth in southern Ohio. Have to feed the sinker down the mouth to the back and pop the eye through the back. If you keep the hook in the nose it’s weedless. Great bait!

You could use tha fly kit with a water bubble bobber on a spinning rod preferably a ultra light or light action i use that set up on big bluegill for my catfish bait

For the flag shirt, staying with the fishing theme instead of having stars and fishing poles to make the flag, replace the stars with some sort of bobber or strike indicator and then still have the poles for the stripes. IDK if it would look good or if it's the dumbest idea I've ever had and I should just stop thinking so much. Anyway, love the show and all the different content and challenges you do, and the different guests you you have that are from the fishing/RUclips community. That hole is common in craw imitations and it spits bubbles when you twitch it
I usually buy those for my grandsons. They are nice starters and they can always use the compact boxes for stuff they will eventually accumulate.

Craws should be weedless that hook goes inside the hollow body.
As you probably know you gotta take all variables into consideration..and possibly the reason for all the Dinks caught the pond may be over crowded and some fish culled to insure over all growth and survival of others.I’ve been fishing this bait for years and have caught several fish on it including some real Lunkers.. one of my favorite go too soft baits..👍

Noah, come on brotha! You would have been better off NOT tying the jig head on before putting the craw on it. You basically take the ball end and stick it through that hole in the craw. You then poke a hole near the tail end of the craw with the hook eye to stick out from. Final step would be to tie it on your line! This bait is KILLER during the spawn on beds😉🎣🎣

You do great videos man. I'm actually a pretty habitual bass fisherman myself but I've started to move more into fishing with live bait lately because i just dont have many fishing places in my area and all the places I do go to are all really murky dirty pond water and I've gone fishing many many times for hours on end and either caught nothing or caught a bunch of fish the size of what you were catching at the beginning of this video. I'll definitely be trying out this kit as well as some of your tactics I noticed during this video in the near future. Keep doing what you do man you're great!

I think watermelon red is best in stained water. Somewhere between 2-4' visibility
