Fletch, did you get to drive one at Expo East? Or was it just with Rob. They look like amazing trucks. I'm a big fan of this build out. Such a great use of space! As you know, I'm a big fan of aluminum. - Mark
Totally agree this is well put together build. I can't speak for OK4WD or GP Factor. While I like the Lagun table, I'm not sure where this would fit in with the space. Plus, with the bench and the counter directly across, I don't think it would be needed. Some window coverings, I'm sure, are coming. They just got this wrapped up for the Overland Expo East. Also, keep in mind this is a rolling showroom. So they may want everyone to be able to peek inside to see all the awesomeness...🤣 Thanks for checking out our video. What kind of setup are you running with to Overland? I love your saying... "Where Every Road Is Home" awesome!!!! - Mark
@ GP Factors design and implementation really is exceptional here. It’s hard to believe this is a first gen offering and it looks this good. I run a Wrangler JL with all the Goose Gear trimmings and an Ursa Minor top. I’ve been looking into a second rig and I was gravitating towards a Defender 110 with a full interior build and roof conversion, but this def has my attention.
I know right amazing! Have you seen this from OK4WD? ruclips.net/video/ldalEWYtSvo/видео.htmlsi=1i951nwfBoBd78se Gave me such an appreciation for all the time that goes into each piece. Mind blowing and all simple fabrication. I just love metal. That's what I've used on all my builds. This is truely next level. Man, it sounds like you have a super nice setup! Our friends had one but wanted more room, so they sold the Ursa Minor. Picked up a Gladiator and had the first Snap Treehouse made for one. They've really been enjoying the setup. But I'm right there with you. This setup is one rig I'd be hard pressed to say no to if someone handed me the keys. Keep us posted if you pick one up! 🙂 Thank you again for checking out our video. Happy winter camping! - Mark
Really love the interior build, but why oh why did Ineos go with a BMW engine? Ford/GM/Jeep engine options would be so much better in North America. Sorry about griping, love the Alu-cab build OK4wd did on this.
Hey Dan, I hear you, but I've heard nothing but amazing stuff in regards to the BMW engine. Of course, I just really like what OK4WD and GP Factor plus Alu-Cab come up with. Super well done with lots of attention to detail. If you had a chance to watch the Rebel Rally 2024, the all women's navigation race in the US. The Grenadier came in 8th. Of course, the 4 Ford Bronco Raptor (stock) & 1 Ranger Raptor placed the top ten. With a Jeep Gladiator Mojave (stock) coming in first. So I'd say the Grenadier did very well. 🙂
I had heard the BMW B58 was a good solid engine, according to many. I didn't know Toyota had it in their A90 Supra. That says a lot right there! Thanks for sharing. Just like you said, having a solid supply chain globally is key for a product like this. That's no suprise with how much thought went into designing and building this truck. It's nice to see something so different but so simple at the same time. - Mark
@@OutOfOfficeCamping If I don't have to go to a BMW dealer to get the engine worked on, then I retract my concerns. I can do my own oil changes, but all ICE engines will need repair work at some point, and I don't want to have to go to a luxury car dealer for help. Just listening to all the headaches my friend has had getting his Sprinter worked on at the MB dealer. Way more $ and you're treated like a 2nd class citizen or something.
Dan, so well said! It's horrible to hear Jeff has to deal with that kind of attitude. When I owned a motorcycle dealership, we never judged and treated everyone, even kids that walked into.oir shop the same. After all, they have parents. It was a training I learned early on from one of the franchise dealer training sessions with Aprilia motorcycles. The moral of the story was never to judge anyone regardless of what they drive or what they were wearing when they walked into dealerships. Sad, but the world has become too much face value, not really much more. Thankfully, so many independent dealerships can do what the dealerships do not. So, any ICE engine can be fixed by just about any of these new gen tech kids. Lol. Just a big video game to them...🤣 I'd love to have some time behind the wheel of a Grenadier. They just keep growing on me more and more. I will say I'm buying a Milwaukee 12v rivet gun this year. Helping me build some more fancy stuff. Have you seen this video from OK4WD? ruclips.net/video/ldalEWYtSvo/видео.htmlsi=3PKzTpcjS-_RvyyC
Those things are super cool.

@ I tried to drive one with Rob, but they were all booked up through Sunday and I ended up leaving Saturday afternoon. I wanted to though!
@AllThingsOverlanding Bummer, well, at least you got out with Rob, so I'm sure you can give some really honest input. That's more than I can say. 🤣
Nice to see such a wonderfully put together interior build/space. How about incorporating a Lagun style table and pull-down window coverings?

What is the music at the end? Very nice cello duet or trio.
Thank you. I felt it was fitting to this part of the video. "ES_Imminent End, Artist Christoffer Moe Ditlevsen"

It's not like Toyota would put the B58 motor in the Supra or anything. This engine has proven reliability and supply chain around the globe.
