The Highlands’ rich history stretches back 4,000 years. In prehistoric times, Highlanders lived in homes built out over lochs, called crannogs, and buried their dead amid mystical stone configurations, or cairns. Thanks to the efforts of modern Scots, you can still admire crannogs and cairns today. #ricksteveseurope #scotland #scottishhighlands

It's amazing how many places in the British isles that Rick has visited were built "about 4,000 years ago" ;)
I love these little post cards🌷🌷🌷
Great job as usual Rick. Thank you for all that you do for Travel!!
That was very interesting, and helpful in learning. Thanks for the video.👍
What a wonderful show. Thank you, Rick.
Great guide as usual 👍
It's so cool seeing the Crannog featured on your channel. We live only 5 miles from here in Aberfeldy!
Great video!
My ancestral homeland! I really do want to visit one day, and also Germany!
the wild guess as to the recent dating is just that a wild guess. we don't really know how old these things are.
Amazing video ❤️

Rick it was very brief video
These brief videos are very annoying.
Alsome :-)!
😍😍😍
Any chance you will do Iceland?
Love your videos rick always great to watch
Two minutes is a video?
Just a heads up for anyone thinking of visiting any cairns - we don't think of them as 'sacred', we're not really a religious country. Just accord them the same respect you'd give any other historically and culturally significant site and you'll be fine.
Mega-short two minute videos are not entertaining. If anything they are annoying. Please return to your former glory of creating wonderful, interesting, *longer* videos. Thank you.
A Guy has to earn a living folks. Thanks for all Rick
