Simulation the accompaniment music of the old silent films. Features the rattling of a manual film projector, vinyl crackling and noises.
MY GOODNESS WHAT A JOLLY GOOD SHOW!
MY MOST JOVIAL SENTIMENTS EXACTLY GOOD FELOW
Someone in this day and age should make a film like this, just for the hell of it.
I'm sure people still make silent films.
Actually, I'm in the process of writing a silent adaptation of one of H.P Lovecraft's books. Not sure which one just yet. Or maybe the king in yellow by Chambers.
I'm making one for school! im still a smol child lol
The Artist (2011) is a high profile one from recent years.
Have to, but for a school project :/
the background effects make it so much better
Its Scott Joplin, give some damn credit
It's Royalty Free, they don't have to.
That was sad :(
This is probably what was my grand grandpa watching while he was fighting in WWI
this kinda made we cry a little, the ending was a bit sad. But then the fucking walk at the end just, it's always Charlie Chaplin mate.
Welcome to Table Flip!
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
That was heartbreaking
Ofcouse its royalty free it was made 1899
No it was made in 1915
Charley Chaplin
Maybe the film was made in 1915 but the music was composed in 1899
wrong 1923 you see cars in this those were not properly made until 1921 so yeah your wrong sorry
0:46 😮John Cusack's grandfather
Better than Tom and Jerry 2022🖤
I really want to make a film like these
They are more funny without audio
*Applause*
I love this music OwO
God I had this happen to me before funny how history tends to repeat itself
Real excellent man! I enjoyed that :)
I agree with the other comments that say the ending is sad.
i have to play this in front of my 67 year old grandpa just to talk to him and i hold up postcards with writeing on them
the ending was sad
someone else agrees with me, well actually a load of people
The silent film's movie is Chaplin right if im right im cool but if i was wrong your cool. Starring Charlie Chaplin

Speeding up the movie like that undermines the integrity of the film. Good video though.
Molly R. Goates are you being serious i can’t tell?
They were sped up
@@callum0481 I'm being serious. They filmed the original at a particular speed for a reason. Changing that ruins the effect.
@@user-pe1il2pz2b Yes, but they didn't very carefully for a reason. It was an art, and playing it faster than it was supposed to be is like playing a funeral march as a polka. There was a whole process behind the speeds they chose and it was a meticulous process that they put a lot of effort in. There was a science behind it, so to speak.
They were normally run in-between x.75 and x.50 on this video.
Lol
why is this so fast?
That's just how movies back then were
@@madc2004 Not exactly. They weren't this fast. Not nearly this fast. Only comedies were very fast at all, and sometimes, occasionally, action scenes in dramas
THIS IS CHARLIE CHAPLIN!!!!
.O.
#CharlieChaplin
Press 3 for Charlie Chaplin
Lego City In 1943
👇 Who Came For That?
I did not, but I liked anyway : D
it's played at the wrong speed
The projector sound RUINS the usefulness of this.
Nope. The projector sound is the cherry on the top
well its not like i can pull a time machine out of my pocket and go back to 1923 and tell them dOnT UsE tHe PrOjEcTeR
but, its copyrighted
I’m here from jacksepticeye
Why did you run it so fast? If you do that, it can undermine the integrity of the film.
