It’s always good to look around and compare new models of both caravans and motorhomes. Some have some eye watering prices. Very impressed with their accessory shop, unfortunately for Martin I’m rather like a kid in a sweet shop when I’m in one 😂. Best wishes H&M. 😀
We’re very pleased with our Adamo 69-4. It’s got the Remis blinds. The lounge and electric bed are great and as you mentioned the TV is ideally located for viewing in bed. The garage is brilliant and as you know the Ford auto is a dream. Having the Adamo does mean we effectively have to coordinate/agree when it’s bed time as the lounge disappears! We prev had an Autotrail with island bed which is difficult to beat, but of course made the van longer. As you say it’s always a compromise.
Hi, Bob and Jenny, enjoyed the look around the motorhomes and the caravans ,wow such prices on some of them. Jenny made me smile when she said you could just launch yourself onto the bed in the escape, brilliant. Yes the island bed in the bedroom seem difficult to get around to me too. Love the Adamo too. The Bailey Adamo was lovely as was the last Caravan. Did you get the Mug Bob, thank you for sharing x Julie and Tony x
Great video as ever Bob and Jenny some great caravans and motorhomes again and I do think the adamo is one of the best at😢 the moment can’t believe the prices of some of them!
Hello Bob and Jenny, As you stated, Perthshire Caravans have a very good accessory shop with very helpful staff, they also have a very good spray painter carrying out repairs. The service department is a different story though. Would I buy another new vehicle from them? No!
Visited Perthshire Caravans yesterday when having a run out from Balbirnie Park CAMC site. Would I buy there? No ... good friends had an awful time with them.
Sorry to hear about your PDI situation. Totally agree with you about Kimberleys. They have vastly improved their customer service over the last 12 to 18 months, including their service department. Hopefully, you get your beautiful Motorhome soon.
Looks like you are enjoying your time up there, Milo is absolutely stressed out this year with the fireworks, think I will have think about getting away next year. The coachman 875 is our van , take care and enjoy the rest of your time up there.
Fascinating visit!! We love it that you still love the Adamo We’ve had our 75-4T for four weeks now and we love it. A few niggles but you will always have them But the drive is amazing and the space and garage just so good. We are thinking of uprating to 3,850 so that we can do a big Europe tour next year - we’re already struggling with payload but we knew that we may have to do that So overall, an amazing van! Thanks for inspiration Bob and Jenny.
Yes, the Adamo is a well built, budget motorhome. It's a shame the dashboards are a little boring in the Ford but most people want to add their own satnav.
We bought our Adamo 75-4dl in 2020 for 60k. We had to wait a year for it. Its now 76499 new. Like you we hated the cab curtains and ours wasnt specced with blinds at new. In the end Remis started manufacturing them for the Ford and I bought and fitted them. The curtains and track have been consigned to the bin. It is shacking how much prices have jumped.
The Burstner was disappointing considering the cost compared to the Bailey. The Adamo looks a far better motorhome. Our microwave lives in the garage of our motorhome. We use it in there because we have a 13 amp mains socket in the garage of our Dethleffs. I am concerned with the mechanicals of the Ford transit because it has a wet belt timing belt and it is a very long undertaking to change it. Something to consider if anyone is thinking of changing their motorhome, I believe the fuel injector issues have been resolved under warranty by Ford?
MotorHomes are just getting better.. : )

A very expensive sweet shop, mind you.
I liked the shape of the sink in the Alicante caravan and of course I loved the duckets in the Bailey. Take care Gill

You can't beat having a good dealer!

Just proves we still watch your videos Bob & Jenny.

Thanks, that's a lovely van. It's been quiet so far here!

We recently bought one and were thinking about upgrading to 3850, would that increase the towing weight for a small car.
No, it actually reduces the capacity.
Many thanks, again @@BobEarnshawMoHo

Super video 👏I’m going to hunt down your Adamo video!
Just search for "Bob earnshaw Adamo"
Another great video
Glad you enjoyed it
@@BobEarnshawMoHo I always enjoy every one, and my husband as well.

Thanks, that's some jump in prices in 3 years.

The Adamo is nice but I've heard you cannot fit a towbar? No good to you if you still want to tow your micro car
You can fit a tow bar, but maximum towing weight is only 750kg. That's the dilemma, we would no longer be able to tow our VW Up.
We asked the same question as also tow a small car. So sadly, it's not for us. They are nice vans though.

I thought the Bürstner was a bit underwhelming. Good idea about the microwave.
