- This time I am building and painting a huge Warhammer dwarf hold with a watchtower and some great looking statues. Just like the ones in the old rulebooks.

Back in the 90s I could only have dreamed of playing in such a fantastic setting, superb work!
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it!
beyond stunning
Thank you!
Thank you for making the warhammer table of my childhood dreams. My dwarf army shouts in approval!
And thank you for watching!
It looks fantastic!
Thank you!
Wow!! So fantastic!

Fantastiskt bygge och härlig video!
Tackar tackar!
I love this!
Looks great.
Thanks
That looks awesome.
Thanks!
An awesome creation.
Thanks!
The DWARFS are BACK!
Indeed!!!
That's is amazing 👏 bravo sir, bravo
Thank you!
Try using plaster of Paris bandages, wetted then placed over a former, screwed up newspaper or a cardboard box, to build bulky things like mountains and bunkers.
Yeah that is way better. I made it very sifficult for myself. Haha
awsome!
OMG Ironforge !! 😮
😀
AWESOME!
Thanks!
Awesome!
Thanks
Wow
Fantastic 😍
Thanks
inspirational as always!
Thanks!
So cool 🏰
Thanks
Great work
Thanks
nice work
Thanks
great idea!!!
Thanks
That is freaking amazing. Always imagined that type of dwarf hold, embedded into the mountain like that, the best i've seen on YT
Thanks so much. Means a lot!
wow!
Aaawww yeaaah!
Tack!
This is why warhammer is awesome...more than just a game! True art.
Thank you so much!!!
Man, this should be a series. I have been trying to figure out how to copy Creative Assembly's version of Dwarven buildings, but clearly you are the man for the job.
Thank you so much!!!
Now that is cool.
Thanks!
great stuff
Thanks
Sa fait plaisir de voir des armées naines a l’ancienne félicitations.
Merci!
Mate, this looks amazing. Thanks for sharing, definitely have to go through your videos to see what else you've done. Keep well!
Thanks a lot. Enjoy the channel. More will come!
I like the mix of old school aesthetic with current ressources and know-how. And I really like the forced perspective on the mountain and its buildings. Really nice!
Thank you so much
Very nice, well done! Hopefully I'll some day have a space where I could work on such pieces.
Thank you so much!
Great work on the dwarf hold. The classic dwarf models are ace. I'm super jealous of your Goblobber. That is one model that is missing from my collection.
Thanks man. Yeah the goblobber took a while to get ahold of. And it wasnt cheap either 😂
The different Warhammer settings always looked their best in the 80s and 90s.
I agree!
inspiring!
Thanks
omg thats is amazing !
Thanks
Very nice
Thanks
That looks great. Gotta love da stunties, best to raid and loot, they have gold and ale..
;)
Thanks so much!
Nice job
Thanks
uff, amazing dwarves old scholl.
This looks incredible, must be a joy to play on a table like that !
Thanks, yeah it sure is!
Final result is fantastic. Also looks like it'd weigh a ton. Mid way I kept thinking I'd paint some of the brick work some different colors to break it up and reflect the mount variation, but by the end, didn't bother me at all. All the washes and dry brushing really tied everything together nicely without making it distracting. Great terrain enhances, nor draw focus. Well done.
Thank you so much!
Wonderful! I love the build and your army. The battlements flow really nicely into the mountain and the whole thing is so lush and green.
Thanks so much!
Fantastic work 😮
Thank you!
Really cool old-style Stuff. Love it
Thanks!
Love it, and your fantastic dwarf army!
Thank you so much
Looks fantastic! Just like the books and White Dwarf Magazines of old!
Thank you!
@@LybbansminiaturesYou are welcome!
Awesome! I love it, my dream board to play my Middlehammer Dwarfs army on !
Thank you so much!
Fantastic build, and greay alongside the army.
Thank you so much!
Breathtaking. An amazing accomplishment
Thank you so much!
Come back Sir, loved your videos!
Thank. I will return soon with a few videos!
Absolutely nailed it. You should be super proud.
Thank you so much!
Such a superb job, absolutely brilliant!
Thank you so much!
Fantastic. A very large scale project and very well executed on.
Thank you so much!
That fortress entrance turned out amazing!
Thanks!
Looks amazing. Such an inspiration ❤
Thank you!
That looks fantastic!
Thank you!
This looks amazing, very well done.
Thank you very much!
Thank you so much for your videos. They are really inspiring. Your Mordheim and Ancrabourg city tables convinced me that hand-crafting buildings just won't do anymore, so I bought a 3D printer to craft a similar Mordheim table as my big project for this summer. Thanks in particular for always naming the different buildings and companies that sell them. Makes it easy to recreate your work =)
Thank you for watching and the kind words. Good luck with the builds!
Beautiful work!
Thank you!
Awesome build, looking forward to part 2 with led lighting :P
Hehe thanks
Super cool!
Thanks
amazing and inspiring as always! :D
Thank you!
Absolutely fabulous! Great job and a very professionally made video! You capture that Oldhammer look so well! Keep it up!
Thank you very much!!!
What a beautiful build and beautiful army. Always so happy to see your new video. Always waiting for right moment o watch it :)
Thanks a lot. Glad you enjoy it!
Brilliant job, mate. Can’t wait to see you make some 40k terrain next 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks, yeah i got some of that in the pipeline!
Lovely project and fantastic video as always! I used the same aow statues for my dearf fortress :)
Thanks. Yesh they sre amazing statues!
Do a siege! Do A Siege!! DO A SIEGE!!! I don’t care what game system you use!
Haha 🫡
It's a cool video. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks!!!
Splendid work. I'm currently working on a Dwarf Hold but for the MESBG [LOTR] system, drawing more of that visual style inspired by the movies. You've done an amazing work, very inspirational to me.
Thank you so much and good luck with your project.
Awesome ! We want more dwarves stuffs ! ;)
Thanks!
This is an amazing build, looks great with your armies! Just one thing about the flowers; the pairs distract. I'd try the rule of threes or at least uneven numbers
Thanks!!! I will keep that in mind!
i kinda wonder if as a filler for mountains you could use expanding foam, like it would take some extra work to clean up afterwards, but you could have a great chance to mold it into the exact shape you need
Yeah that would have been much easier. Or just build up styrofoam in layers. I did it cause i had so much scrap styrofoam
Ser fantastiskt ut. Tycker du hittat ett bra format för dina byggprojekt/filmklipp.
Och härligt med the Golden Age of Warhammer Fantasy. Inte lika creddigt som Oldhammer kanske och inte lika tekniskt fulländat som dagens figurer men man blir ju alldeles varm i hjärtat av att se detta.
Tusen tack!!!
I have to ask, where are you storing/using all these amazing boards you are making? That's my biggest challenge.
Haha i have a big basement but i occationally sell stuff off to make room. 😀
Es una guapada. Maravilloso. Cómo me encantaría tener una maqueta igual que esa pero no tengo sitio aún por ahora xd
Thank you!!!
Great work, this looks so great! Do you only use PVA Glue to stick the styrofoam together when you make the structure?
Mostly but some hot glue was also used
Just amazing work! What 3d printer do you use?
Thanks. I use anycubic i3 mega
Fantastic! Where are the trees from? Are they old citadel ones? They are just what I need :)
Thanks. The round ones are the old citadel trees. K and M trees still sell them in the uk. The pines i dont know. Got them in a big box i bought second hand. But pine trees are available at most model railway shops pretty cheap
Looks amazing as always :D what is the colour of Grass you are using, i really like the look of it :D
Thanks. I cant remember exactly what the colour is but it is a quite vibrant green. Probably some kind of summer green hue. 😀
we need new vidoes!
I know. I promise more will come soon!
Amazing setting with many details but I prefer to build by myself terrain, buildings ecc instead of using 3dprinter or buy industrial product.
Thanks. Yeah me too actually but that takes so much time and i have too many projects. I will do more scratch built stuff in the future probably
Fantastic build, the world needs more dwarven content! :)
The buildings look nice too, although you can see the printer lines. Are you planning to build more dwarf themed terrain?
Thank you. Yes print lines are unavoidable but when gaming i never notice them. I might do more but i have other stuff planned before. Thanks for watching.
Sorry if I missed it, but what size printer did you use? I get the feeling mine is too small.
I used anycubic I3 Mega 20x20 cm buildplate
@@Lybbansminiatures In which case mine should cope, plus my friend witha large plate has offered to print if i pay the resin. Cheers :D
keep up the good work mate! always excited when creators make new videos, but at the same time i'm so disappointed when the video starts with 3d printed stuff when you yourself cant afford one to begin with ... There are otherwhise always techniques to learn in every project :D This build gave me a Battle for Skull Pass vibe honestly, as soon as I saw the huge mountain with the castle in it, for those who remember .
Thanks. I get that and i will probably do stuff that is scratch built in the future but i have been pretty into printing lately.
Is that literally bark or do mine eyes deceive me?
Yes it is. Hand picked in the woods. 😀
Hi Lybbans, how long did it take you to print these fortress models?
I cant really remeber but probably about a week or so
@Lybbans miniatures thanks for the response! Loved the build. My favorite video is your harbor though haha, thats so impressive! Are you alright? Haven't seen an upload in a while
@@AKARazorback thanks! I am actually finishing a video series on my next warhammer board. So keep your eyes peeled.
Hey Lybbans, what 3D printer you use ?
Anycubic I3mega
@@Lybbansminiatures Nice thanks you !
Where did you get the three dwarven statues ?
They are from avatars of war. I bought the files on myminifactory iirc
@@Lybbansminiatures Thanks Lybban ! ;)
how do you make a banner, decal?
Yes they are transfers.
what printer/s to you use?
Anycubic i3 mega
Нет слов 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏браво!
you've painted the gate heraldry colors the wrong way round ....tear it all down...start again 😅
Haha
