What we expected was a rapid transformation in the education system and a focus on primary education but in these 20 years, we haven't seen much progress. The mafias are happy that they are sending people Gulf and enjoying the remittances. At last, I want to summarize my point in one sentence, "Democracy does not work in an illiterate society, It thrives only where people can make informed decisions for themselves."
