Out of several star kids, I think Tushar Kapoor has been moderately successful in Bollywood. I believe he knew that he was never going to make it really big as a star from day one, as he didn't quite had the look and aura of being a Bollywood star, nor had enough potential who'd carry the whole film on his shoulders. Regardless, he was pretty good in several offbeat films like 'Shootout at Lokhandwala' & 'Shor in the City'.
Well, some actors know what's good for them and what's not. They don't go around demanding for main roles when they know that they're incapable and unviable..
Armaan Kohli is the biggest flop actor in the history of Bollywood...he should be number 1 in this list. He acted in more than 2 dozen movies from 1992 to 2003 and of which only QAHAR & LOC KARGIL did average business and the remaining movies were flops.

Regarding Sonam Kapoor, well, her off-screen personality was why she couldn't shine in the masses.
Among all these starkids I feel Zayed Khan should have a comeback. I only saw him in Main Hoon Na but when he made debut in television he was mad amazing in Haasil. He really proved his acting skills well as a psycho lover and I have become a fan of his character Ranveer in this show

Arjun Kapoor has actually done many good movies - Ishaqzaade, Aurangzeb, 2 States, Gunday, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Finding Fanny, Ki and Ka, Panipat, and even the underrated Ek Villain Returns.. But the thing is.. people never connected to him as an actor.. his performances are not great but he chose good films. This shows that to become a beloved star, an actor has to appeal to the people and there has to be a connect. Otherwise, even good movies can't save anyone..

Yeah these movies are good. But she got couple of solo lead films too where she totally failed in places where she got a scope to act. She just isn't capable and proves that strong writing can eclipse a moderate acting

Arjun Kapoor has actually done many good movies - Ishaqzaade, Aurangzeb, 2 States, Gunday, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Finding Fanny, Ki and Ka, Panipat, and even the underrated Ek Villain Returns..
But the thing is.. people never connected to him as an actor.. his performances are not great but he chose good films. This shows that to become a beloved star, an actor has to appeal to the people and there has to be a connect. Otherwise, even good movies can't save anyone..

Janvi also appeared in good movies. For me, Janvi is worse than Arjun when it comes to acting but at least she’s a better dancer.
