Hi, no not messages. You can save your messages in Google drive. You can do PDF and any other file format, no problem. You can transfer as much as you want until your device says stop, full. No limits. It's just like any flash drive or external drive, it depends on your USB drive storage of course.

Hi, your phone may not recognize some files format. Mots phones and devices support JPG format for pictures, mp3 for music and MP4 for videos. If you have other formats like PDF, Word, you need to install that first in your phone. Hi, if you don't have an OTG cable, connect your phone to your computer, transfer your files to your computer, then connect your flash drive to computer and transfer files to the USB. Let me know if it's not what you are looking for.

How do I turn it off?

Sorry I have just seen, your message after 2 months. Samsung Tablets support OTG, you just need to make sure you get the right OTG connector. I don't have those tablets to check for you. You just need to look on the USB port specs so you can get the right OTG adaptors
