I really love that they're all just playing to each other. They don't even give a fuck about the audience. It's such a small, uncomfortable place. They're just kind of all right there facing each other in a circle kind of, most of the time
Rad to hear the Acrobatic Tenement tracks with distorted guitars like it was supposed to be. They got too high and forgot their pedals when they recorded that record, legend goes.
I heard Jim was under the impression that he was just doing scratch tracks and only found out later they used them as final takes
All the planets aligned to form this band. Flawless, besides the last one without all the members. They all somehow make each other better.
This band is the epitome of creative tension, almost like "How different can each band member be from each other and still have a musical connection"?

Lol, I love how 90% of their shows they played either completely half hungover, half tweaking and fully tone deaf because of it and everyone still says it was flawless production. It reminds me of the dude with the strung-out mom whose house everyone went to after school to smoke at and find drugs. XD Don't get me wrong I love them for that but damn it's a miracle anything made it to major distribution. lol. Those strings must be ten years old how they twank like that. Is he playing through an amp or a car stereo speaker in a cereal box. XDD
