Great tips thank you for sharing. i own an LG Stylo 4 and like it. Over time the battery is getting weaker and weaker. I followed almost all of these suggestions and over time the battery isn't lasting as long now.

Charges quickly, but powers off anytime it wants ~ at 78% battery, at 43% battery, in the middle of a phone call, whenever. Have to put up with it a few more weeks till my budget allows for a replacement. Till then, thanks for your tips.
Do not, I repeat do not lower the resolution. I did and then the screen turned into an old TV set, with snow. I had to do a hard reset and lost all my pictures and data because the touch screen didn’t work. Be very careful

I use discord a lot, and mainly for calls with friends, but then sometimes the phone just force closes the app with the notification "Discord is using battery" and im out of the call,is there a way to stop this?

Out the box, if you use the phone down some, instead of charging it fully, before activation, is that the reason one would get only 8 hours from then on, instead of 147? I saw 20 hours, from someone's comment in his video; how is even that possible? Another comment in his video, said to limit running background apps to 1, in developer otions, which I haven't found any other info on, about the precise way to do it; how is that done? I've heard that you should let the battery drain completely, until the phone shuts off. Is that true, and, if not, why not, and what's the lowest, and why? And, is the answer to all of this that, different carriers use better batteries than others, based on things such as whether the phone is a prepaid, or plan, phone?
No, no, no and no. Just press the battery saver, and your GPS and WIFI automatically will shut down. Resolution also makes almost no difference at all, and makes no difference when the phone is off. It's a useless feat. If you wanted a lower resolution, why not buy a phone with a 720p screen instead?
Brian Ison I just bought mine lastweek and had to return it as it just wouldnt hold a charge. Got a replacment and itis draining fast now. Watched this video and am goi g to try these suggestions to see if that makes a difference. If not I am juat going to return and get a different phone. It doesn't matter how great the phone is if you can't use it due to bad battery life. I've never had this problem with any of my previous LGS.

have you done the optimization to get rid of unused apps ? I work 2 jobs so my phone is running from 630am to 2am with no issues, but my wi fi is off unless im tapped in at work,instead of it searching for wi fi all the time(that's what drains a lot)

my stylo 4 lasted 2 days fully. i was able to get 8 hours of screen on time. I'm impressed. i had location and auto brightness on the whole time.
How? I only get 5 hours not even.
i guess i got a good model. remember, not all phones are made equal lol.
