Question: let say a male athlete weighs 185 lbs lean (real weight 196lbs). 5 ft 8 tall and 22 years old. Training age 2 years lifting push pull legs and let say cardio is 5 times a week. 5000 steps a day. What is the calories or macros for maintenance? Surplus for off season? And for prep. 3… 2 … 1 … go! (Just want to see how you calculate this. Thanks)

Any tips/advice for someone that wasnt able to finish prep not bc of the actual prep but due to external factor (stress at work) and how to bounce back, just recently backed out of prep because my workload is not conducive to reach the goal/condition im aiming for and i know it would negatively affect my performance at work.

When an athlete is going through a prep and leading to a show what does training intensity and volume look like for your clients? IE: Does volume taper down, intensity remains or
Do you prefer higher volume closer to a show and intensity lowered to mitigate injury?

I am currently cutting. My goal is 3k cals a day. I use my fitness pal and it calculates your calories burned. Is that accurate? Or do I need to just eat 3k calories a day and not counter because of calories burned? I kinda screwed myself and at like an extra 600 calories on day one and want to know for the future... been lifting for three years consistently. I have done one true cut, a lot of maintenance and a slight bulk. I am 6'5 and weighed 287 at the start of the cut.

What should I do if I get restful sleep, in a surplus, gaining at a great rate (about a pound/ pound and a half a week)strength is going up but feel fatigued after 2 training sessions and need a rest day on the 3rd. I’m supposed to train 3 on 1 off but I’m pretty cooked by day 3 in the split. I’m 5’6-192 lbs, started my growing period in November at 170lbs

What’s your frequency like? I’m no pro, or anything close to it but if you haven’t tried it yet it might be worth throwing a hard couple sets after a back day, and having a dedicated arm day too. I’m having to do the same thing with the ol titties right now.

    • @movestattoo4561

Because your body needs other hormones than testosterone to function well. And you also need dietary fat to absorb micronutrients and vitamins.
