Have always liked this type of design Barry. I reckon a Laco will be a future buy. The detail and finish looks good.

Hi Barry, I really like what Laco are doing at the moment. It's crazy but this is in the same price range as the Seiko 5 and Citizen Tsuyosa ranges, and there's genuine heritage in the Laco.
I'd go for a smaller model, but if I was feeling flush I'd Spring for a DIN 8330, or to keep within the spirit of your (excellent) review an Aachen 39 with upgraded movement. There are times when I hate having small wrists! Thanks for this Barry, it's always good to see alternatives to the more well known brands. LG Bob 🍻

It’s just as bad having larger wrists. Hey ho. 🥴

Three cracking watches featured this time. Looking forward to the Ball. A decent length of strap. Hallelujah!

Why not do the original 55 mm ? 😂 Seriously, it's a beaut, and I can never understand people complaining about the "noisy" Miyota rotor. Their movements are slimmer and, in my experience, more accurate than comparable Seiko movements.
Not so sure about the grey dial, but that crown is spot on!
    Nice review. Subscribed. Cheers 🍻!

Thank 👍🏻 , The 55mm is a real beast of a watch many pilots in the war used to wear it on leg so when flying they could just look down and see it :) I personally don't mind the rotor noise its the same with the ETA 7750. See you at the next review Sir

I would pay double the money if these had german writing on the watch and strap. Keep it authentic guys.

Thats a fair comment but I guess you could say it should 55mm also

I really wish they offered this dial in their better pilot watches.

Yeah there is something interesting with this dial colour plus I think it is unique to them
