Hey I first solved it by having the spiral and a 4+1 set up rather than a 3+2. Then I realised the 3+2 was a smoother way, as the 4+1 is a bit harder to do (still can do it without forcing though). Also I don't think the position of the Hanayama piece is as important as you claim. I can mount it with the Hanayama piece being in the group of 3, or in the group of 2
Just got this today, it took me nearly an hour to solve. Maybe 15 20 minutes to put back together again. Putting it back together is fiddly, because I had to make sure the peices were correctly placed, and then do it. It seems like it could go back the wrong way if you're not careful. As soon as I finished it, I watched this video to see if I did it the same way. I think I did it slightly differently, where the 'Hanayama peice' was part of the 3 instead of part of the 2. Maybe that's why it took me so long to put back together again. I didn't know I could bind the peices to make it easieer to put back together again either, so it was very fiddly trying to keep them in place without sliding around.
That is good you solved it yourself and only then watched the video. Very often people do different. There is no sense in buying a puzzle in this case. Thanks for the feedback. I never want to spoil a puzzle for my viewers so it is up to you if you want to want the video after the warning or no.
@@Puzzleguy I agree 100%. If I already knww the solution, I wouldn't have bought it. What's the fun in that? It's a nice feeling chunk of metal in the hand too though. I can see it being used as a fidget toy now i've solved it. My next one is the huzzle marble. After i've done it, i'll watch the video for that one too. Do you have a video for the cast marble?
@@dancoulson6579 Spiral is great as fidget toy! I like latest Cyclone puzzle. I solved it about 2 months ago and still have it on my desk, great fidget toy as well.
I did it in 10 minutes. But to solve it again is harder if you don't want to keep the pieces exact the same way. Is there a solution if you scramble them all? Except for trying for a while till it works.
I had this , my dad seperated the pieces and left them there because he didn't know how to put it back together. After...4 years I found a RUclips video and found out that you just twist them...I was angry at myself and the person who designed it 🤣
worked for me, after trying on my own for a while. Hanayama reaaaaally knows how to throw people off.
Try Hourglass or Vortex puzzle if you want to know how Hanayama throws people off.
@@Puzzleguy will do! Thanks!
I’ve had that for over a year every time i go to sleep most of the time I’ll try to solve it I haven’t thanks

The Hanayama piece still has to be on the edge that is open. It's the key.

I got it, I'll definitely buy another, once you get the dynamics of it do, it gets easier to do, thanks

This puzzle isnt great because you can actually put it back together wrong ...so it's actually fully back together but easy to take apart

I got this today, solved it in 10 minutes but it’s been nearly 2 hours and I can’t put it back together. Pieces are mixed btw😔
You can solve it on both sides. Or mine does.. the hanayama piece plus 1 next to it. And the 2 next to that piece but then on the other side.
I didn’t work
Cory McCoy Haha
Mike Lindell that’s rude. It’s not their fault if it didn’t work. It’s the video’s poor explanation.
Lemon Dazzle Dreams Haha!
@@mikelindell9784 big ups my guy
