Thanks for all the FREE GAME over the years ! I’ve learned a lot from watching your videos, I currently paint cars from my Garage & probably wouldn’t have ever had the confidence to do so if it wasn’t for watching your videos. One thing I admire about you is your attention to detail, you overachieve every step & it shows.
VERY NICE SPRAYWAY,LOVE THE FACT THAT IT IS CORDLESS, SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO CARRY A CORD ALL OVER THE PLACE.I HAVE BEEN TAKING LESSONS FROM YOU, NEVER PAINTED YET,BUT WORKING ON IT❤PEACE
A lot of things come to mind. I have been using Menzerna products for MANY years. I do really like their product line. A number of observations. The things I am about to say are CONSTRUCTIVE in nature. My whole goal is to help everyone's projects finish out better with fewer problems. #1 That block your using is not near rigid enough ( I personally own 3 of them ). You ideally want an acrylic block to flatten any texture out. Even an old 3M " rubber" block that can usually be bought at walmart is more rigid. #2 When you use a DA sander for the rest of the wet sanding, use an interface pad. They are super cheap. They will allow that sand paper to flex a bit ( which you want at that particular stage ). #3 Slow that buffer down! 2400 is WAY too fast. That speed does not help, at all. All it does is inject more heat into your paint and panel. Read the labels on the bottle. They will give you a pretty fair idea of what speed you should be running for best results. #4 The Menzerna 3500 will produce an even better finish with a DA polisher ( 8mm throw would be ideal but even a 12mm or 15mm DA would yield better results ) instead of the rotary. #5 Tear the tags off of your towels. Believe it or not, those tags will scratch paint, so get rid of them! I have been buffing out paint jobs since the mid to late 80's. I have been around the block once or twice. Use my above stated suggestions to help your projects turn out the best that they possibly can. There is no ill will or intent of any kind in my statements.
As a long time car enthusiast, mechanic, builder, and painter, I want to thank you for the knowledge you bring to the hobby. Yours is the best channel out there.
Great stuff! Glad to have my home internet again to watch this content on my TV. I don't think you get enough credit for how good your production is. Amazing work as always, both content, and production. Top shelf.
Underrated channel 💯 thank you for this info, I was afraid of runs to the point it scared me to even paint, I'm just starting out but you have shown me that these can be handled.. this is the channel with the best paint jobs i have ever seen, i cant say enough on how skilled you are.. car is smooth as glass
Wow, you don’t have to be professional to pull up great job. Ths guy put me in gear 7. I am getting those incredible polish and do my newly painted bonnet.👍
Damn bro I wish you wasn't so far away I'm watching you from old Idaho I got a old 98 yukon I'd love to get painted I do a lot of charity events for kids such as toysfortots st jude's children hospital and so on I host them bc I'm all about the car audio

I would like to thank you so much for making content thats easaly understoodwith you help i have built up enough confidence to take on a paint job and not freak out when mistakes where made knowing i can fix them and continue i have painted my car and would like to share the results with you
Sprayway, you are very detailed in every video you do, I have learned a lot off of you thank you for all the knowledge. Thanks to you sprayaway and my friend Pete channel.. I'm going to install a sunroof in my box body mustang and paint it.. once again thank you for all the knowledge and very detailed videos, looking forward to new ones...
First of all, that car looks great man. You are the man when it comes to doing stuff like that. I really like that muffin compound that three steps you got take care
I see once you have your pad conditioned you use very little compound. A good wool pad and good compound make light work. Thank you for showing us this. I know better next time as I used a DA and foam....took a lot longer lol
The definition of “ flawless” !
