School of the Lord's Service

The monks of Conception Abbey form these seminarians with a call from God, a call to serve, which is grounded in St. Benedict's call to establish a "School of the Lord's Service." Through living their monastic lives, the monks learn to serve one another and serve the Church - and thus, their ministry within Conception Seminary College comes forth.
Conception Seminary College stands firm in our foundation as a Benedictine-run seminary serving the Midwest, forming well-rounded men who will guide the future of the Church.
