Over a Barrel

- We bought the Barrel from a pub in the Spanish port of Algerceris. The round top was good but quite small. We wanted something bigger. At a local second hand shop we came across a tatty old card table round the right size with torn and worn out green cloth.
We decided to use the top for our kitchen barrel. We inverted the top and filled in the cavities with plaster other wize it would have cost a fortune in Resin.
We left about 1cm depth for the Resin and the rest is here in the video.

Hubby and I added 1000 sq. Feet to our house when we were young and it was really the best part of our marriage. We loved working together. It was so much fun. It means so much more that we did it ourselves.

A hair dryer would blow the resin better. It also warms the resin to make it flow.
When you pour the top. Don’t use a roller, pour enough to let it flow and blow it out to the edges. It will drip a lot. So you need to cover all your cupboards.
