I thought I was tripping cause the power creep in this game is insane now I’ve been playing since middle school and I remember people back then complaining about how there was no hard content but today it’s just like units only last like 6 months and they are getting power creeped. I was actually thinking of skipping wwdc because of what happen to the ssj goku and coolers .I’m just hoping they relax next year and you know hold off on dropping ridiculously hard content give me some easy shit 😂.
Speaking on last years blue bums and merged zamasu I’m glad he is still usable but I just hope the units last longer, don’t even get me started on that Int goku black eza they ruined him😭
The only really good still playable character last WWDC is imo the STR Future Gohan in Beast Gohans team. Fusion Zamasu is okayish right now. The other 2 are frauds and already were at their limits on release.

i thought LR Future Gohan was gonna age the best, and he is still good, but Zamasu’s Leader skill outweighs his timed dr. now that most hard events are Super type Gohan’s domain fell off. he helped me beat UI Goku Str no items mission (i dont have Beast Gohan) but i realized quickly he could *not* tank, even after his active skill 😢 Zamasu in retrospect is not a bad floater and starts strong where other units have to build up
Dokkan is becoming toxic with how fast they’re power creeping units. Dokkan needs to slow down the difficult content and give us a year of just fun new units

There were years when the hardest content was LGE and for 2 years new units came out to fight the content and could be used. Dokkan is rolling to fast with its new hard content. Give us a year or two with the current power level so we can buff teams and beat the current content without power creeping units

WWDC Units this time will not be handled as soft as last year. It's evident in the following months from WWDC 2023 that we've completely shifted tides of power, character designs, and conditions there's no way this WWDC won't be as broken/on par with at least the 9th Anniversary units.

I think they are fully aware of the power shift the problem is people want harder content and whilst when they released they were the best of the best content has moved on making them insignificant however EZA is a thing and thank god because it means even if you summon them and they are useless 6 month down the line no doubt 1year down the line thier eza will break the game again
While I do see the point you are making, Id like to note that theres been a major shift in how theyre handling dokkan fest and carnival LRs this year. It seems theyre very aware of power creep, and designing characters to have longer lifespans even after their initial performance has become weaker comparitively to the rest of the game. I think the same will be true for the next WW celebration. The difference has been, that alot of the major celebration characters this year have "Win condition" mechanics. Mechanics that temporarily boost them to far above the level of the current meta for a short time. I.e beast taunt, gogeta taunt, teq UI domain, cell max taunt, jiren standby, etc. These mechanics, while they dont make a unit eternally viable, mean that even once the characters have aged out, they will still have value unique to them, that will never be rendered useless. I think theyll continue to push for this style of character, and so I think while power creep will continue to go at a similar rate, it will not as harshly effect 2024 characters as it has for prior years.
I definitely see where you’re coming from, hopefully the team proves me wrong for this upcoming WWDC and these next 4 units will have an equivalent lifespan as their anniversary counterpart. It still unfortunate to see what happen to the 2021-2023 WWDC releases since they kept getting outclassed by new bosses drops after only 4 months.

Additionally, I always try to look out for the f2p players, since they summon the new LRs and leave with one copy rather than chase dupes. Thus having only 3-4 months of viability where they can dominate years content only for the new anniversary to bring fights that throws the previous characters into the trash. (Whereas the anni LRS have all 12 months to be viable before the next anni). My way of adivising f2p players to save their stones

You cant say skip without knowing the units. Yea the previous units have been not so good but with the anniversary units this year you can tell they are making units better and better. Plus with the sync i expect this ww to be massive
Future gohan still is good in the 9th anni meta imo. May not be the best option on beast's team but for some of fights with immediate pressure like cell max and blue zone evoken, he is a slot 2 defense beast. Your point still stands though since 3/4 of wwc units have aged really badly. Less so fusion zamasu.
What I don’t understand is how people are willing to summon on ui then skip WW. The only reason global players are so messed up rn is because the sync is throwing everyone off. Sync or not the game is still the same and has the same formats as it’s had for years, I see no reason to all of a sudden now skip the second biggest celebration of the year. And with the quality of the units, the only reason they haven’t remained good is because there have been major power creeps after every world wide the past few years. Honestly this should be the one we have the most hope in with characters like beast and cell max now we know that these are the type of characters they can make now. And to all the people saying they won’t need them cause of beast I think that’s just bad thinking. We’ve been playing the game with global foresight and have been seeing jp hype up and use the best characters in the games for six months. I think they got put on a pedestal so much that it’s actually bad for the player base. We’re not actually supposed to know what units are coming up next, I feel like that’s the only reason anyone thinks they won’t be better than beast because they’res no foresight. Half of globals problems with the 9th anniversary stem from them already having an expectation for what’s coming. Not just getting the information naturally like everyone on JP did. I understand u, but as a global player Who pull all the anni unit and with Beast ab2 i pulled also on goku cause i like the unit. I think to skip the ww if i don't like the unit and if the are on par with Beast good, but i prefer to use also unit i like and not only from their power

I am heavily considering skipping and saving for Teq UI's return (because his domain is unmatched in utility imo) and STR Roshi because I'm an earth bred fighters guy. Especially since idk if WWDC will either last that long power creep wise or be that good for my box. It definitely depends. I am f2p btw.
they can always change the banner format. I think the only guarantee characters are golden week, 9th anni carnival characters, 8th years, and previous wwdc characters. And they've also been releasing god tier characters constantly this year so ynk they could be insanely good.
The biggest problem is that Bandai doesn't know how to handle enemy powercreep. I get that you don't want to have the newer units outclass Red/Blue Zone content but in the span of a few weeks Global just went from having Cell Max, Blue Zone Beast Gohan, and LR DBS Gogeta as the hardest fights to now progressing towards Goku/Frieza. And Goku/Frieza is another case of bad powercreep especially with that stupid 10 million damage mitigater.
What are they gonna call WWDC now? The whole point of it's name was so that global and JP would be synced temporarily during the celebration. Now that both versions are going to be synced SYNCED, what's it going to be called now??
I feel like the dev team this year has really tried to design a plethora of good units this year. I have a theory that Omatsu might need more credit because he did mention that it takes about a year to develop new LRs and such; it's very possible that "his" philosophy on unit design didn't get to take effect until this year which could explain why 2023 was so mid. So I'm optimistic about WW; the fights have been challenging this year but nothing too crazy. The ONLY fight that I have a real "problem" with is the Goku/Frieza USS fight. 10 million damage threshold is too high especially after 2 phases of locking. Should've been 5 mil at the most or perhaps made it like the Buutenks RZ fight where his last phase as buff buu can hit hard but die super fast.
Great video, I think I'm only going to do 1-3 rounds on each of the DF banners and then save for 10th Anni. I usually summon for units that I don't already have, and since I'm a recent player I usually don't have some of the older Dokkanfests. Even then though, nobody really talks about how the New Years banner for 2025 is gonna have crazy value since it'll have 2024's EZA units and Dokkanfests. I'm probably going to save 600 stones for that and then the rest for the 10th Anniversary. I think it would be a good video idea to break down how New Years Step-Up is gonna look like. Good discussion about WW once again.
I'd beg to differ, sure, the value of the banners are insane, usually on the release of worldwide Download celebration lrs they are typically some of the best units in the game on their release, but in recent history they have not had the best aging process on top of that we are 6 months away from global being synced up with JP. For free to play players, it is essential that you save up for the anniversary. Those units usually have the longest lifespan in comparison to the rankings as the best units in the game. It's not that it's not worth it, it's just that because of the sync Free to play players which make up a majority of the game should not be spending on the banners or at least not go deep on them, this year it is not a must summon for global, it Will have high value but it is not warranted to summon
Bro next anniversary is in like 5.5 months. Better summen on ww than on some random dokkan fest. Also you will get many Stones for anniversary. Better wait and See the Ww Characters and banners

Now imagine this. Beasthan doing everything teq piccolo does and teq piccolo doing everything cell max does, who would be the best unit in the game? And how would agl ui goku and ssjbe vegeta scale as of now without their eza's? The problem is current meta bosses and redzones and most dokkan hard events, go frieza foing 5.7million even beast can slip up. Heres what dokkan shoukd do, buff/rework or tweak the weaknesses of beloved units that everyone has a chance to get/already has (especially with upcoming wwdc) making them less weaker and more viable in runs by giving units like str super vegito defensive stats and some stacking similar to ssjbe vegeta and dodge units like str goku ui not relying U7 teams to be ran well
If u f2p 9th banner one of the best banner of history of dokkkan they are stacked both Festival ofc not carnival... U can skip carnival banner... Even in Wwdc carnival u can choose to skip... The gap of 9th to Wwdc to 10th is insanely close as we come to closer to merge the timeline of jp/global server.... Summon or not your choice how u want to enjoy the game ofc... 😊😊😊
some of the stuff you say is flat out wrong, birdku aged WAY better than the 7 anniversary units, and he was still runnable vs both syn and omega events, he was untouchable, LR cooler was completely fine vs PHY SYN event but I agrre he aged when OMEGA event dropped. 2021 frieza and goku does not count because of red zone and MUI and EVO vegeta also aged when red zone came around, LR EVO vegeta was easily the worst out of frieza, ssj goku, MUI and himself. and 2023 Vegito blue/zamasu was WAY better than 8th anni units vs the future red zone, blue vegito aged like milk, but zamasu is still runnable and can tank with his massive dmg reduction the first 2 appearances, after that he can still tank normals easily, only supers can kill him. only reason vegito blue aged like milk is because the new 9th anni events had bigger power creep than the 7th anniversary power creep, people forget this, and LR STR future gohan is still cooking close to almost every stage in the game as of today, he never dies for me. In the new EVO vegeta fight he works extremely well. can add more but do not want to write the bible here

Syncs throws a wrench into our exact info, For the carnival banners i don’t think so since. JP will get the gammas and gogeta returning in those banner. While for global we will likely get agl ultimate gohan and lr ginyu return on those banner.

We're not getting 9th anni powercreep again. The meta always resets every 2 years (I wasn't there for the first 3 years, but lge invalidated alot of characters during the 5th anni, red zone for the 7th, and sbs for the 9th) cooler and nameku were the exceptions because dokkan pushed aoe content, their numbers were still serviceable pre 9th anni (their teams not so much but we're not talking about them) str vegito had the highest damage output in the game all the way until red zone and buuhan was at least servicable. This wwdc should be safe to summon on, it's only next year that needs to be worried about.
Meta resets happen a lot more often than you think. (Also to clarify LGE happen before the 5 anniversary, what started during the 5th year was Extreme super battle road) Year 1. Dokkan events Year 2: the start of the super battle road meta/ eza battles Year 3: ultimate clash meta Year 4: the start of the LGE/ stacking meta Year 5: extreme super battle road Year 6: god event Year 7: red zone intima Year 8: shadow dragon and zamasu red zone Year 9: supreme battle spectacle Powercreep has always reset every anni, it was just in the early years where your “major” power was how many LRs or dupes did you have to help you finish the fight before dying yourself. If you go back to some of the 8th year content produced by others content creators you’ll notice the natural shift of people using 8th anniversary characters/eza and how a majority of the 7th year releases failed in those fights (since a lot of them relied on being able to first attack to get their defense)
Cooler lasted verry long, most anniversary and world wide charaters lasted a year. Zamasu is still amazing. Anniversary units fell out at a similar pace, zamasu is way better than gt duo. So skip anniversary is even with skip worldwide.
I disagree on the units falling out in the similar pace. As the anniversary characters tend to have the entire year of their debut being strong contenders for the game account. Whereas the release of the worldwide for the past couple of years has had Lower life spans since the next anniversary is only 4 months and brings a new era/ wave of higher damage dealing bosses and more gimmicks. I do think zamasu can be a greater unit than the gt duo but it’s also has to be acknowledged of his flaws with the domain issue which impacts his defensive capabilities with the release of the 9th anniversary fights.
@RazoraWorld you don't really need his domain he tanks good in slot 2-3, 1 on first 2 appearances. I think worldwide super types age fast but extreme always lasted a year+ cell, buu, freeza 7 months about, cooler 1 year, zamasu will probably be good for more than a year depends if he gets better units to run with.
While you make valid points about the history of wwdc units. 2024 units have been on a different level. And not to mention this will be the celebration to mark the sync. I have a feeling dokkan is going to go above and beyond all the past wwdc. Bottom line we're just gonna have to see what they put out
So iam a jp player, i have all 9th anni units, teq ui, jiren. I saved 3.2k stones. If its not db saga iam going to try to get 1 copy of the units nut safe the rest. Zhe 10th anni is going to be so fire like no other celeb.

I had the fortune to pull all the anny unit and mui teq with a remaining of 700 stone and with this sinc i'm not sure i want to pull before the 10th anni for all the reason u told and cause i think it will be very diff to lunch units stronger than beast and mui teq before the new anni

As long as WWDC isn't GT or Planet Namek Saga, I can feel comfortable skipping. Having Beast and then getting shafted on UI kinda killed my hype I had during anni ngl...but not to force me into Hiatus like year 4 (that was prior to Z update, prob around the time they just introduced auto battle...idr)
If you have beast there’s no reason to be so drastic about not pulling UI, I was lucky enough and have one copy of each, Beast is still so much more versatile and straight up better than UI, UI can get you killed.

@@hoodiexfighter3186 sure that’s UNTIL he transforms which is turn 5 and before UI can even transform Beast is virtually untouchable and even after his intro ends he’s still tanking 90% of the game or even 100% if on global, UI it’s more of a support which I like and they incentivize you to run him slot one, and more often than not he can get caught bad if he decides not to dodge. When you Get UI sign to go UI he’s arguably the best for THAT turn, and more often than not that turn is very much the end of the fight, not saying he’s bad, he’s just not Beast Gohan rn.
So how are they power creeped when they can clear 95% of the game content with the exception of the new content of the new anniversary? I don't see it as bad 🤔 I don't really care for hard content of the game anyways lol Just do them slowly didn't even caught up.

Future gohan still is good in the 9th anni meta imo. May not be the best option on beast's team but for some of fights with immediate pressure like cell max and blue zone evoken, he is a slot 2 defense beast. Your point still stands though since 3/4 of wwc units have aged really badly. Less so fusion zamasu.
What I don’t understand is how people are willing to summon on ui then skip WW. The only reason global players are so messed up rn is because the sync is throwing everyone off. Sync or not the game is still the same and has the same formats as it’s had for years, I see no reason to all of a sudden now skip the second biggest celebration of the year.
And with the quality of the units, the only reason they haven’t remained good is because there have been major power creeps after every world wide the past few years. Honestly this should be the one we have the most hope in with characters like beast and cell max now we know that these are the type of characters they can make now. And to all the people saying they won’t need them cause of beast I think that’s just bad thinking. We’ve been playing the game with global foresight and have been seeing jp hype up and use the best characters in the games for six months. I think they got put on a pedestal so much that it’s actually bad for the player base. We’re not actually supposed to know what units are coming up next, I feel like that’s the only reason anyone thinks they won’t be better than beast because they’res no foresight. Half of globals problems with the 9th anniversary stem from them already having an expectation for what’s coming. Not just getting the information naturally like everyone on JP did. We’re playing a version of Dokkan that’s made us spoiled and no one realizes that. I see zero reason to skip WWC
I understand u, but as a global player Who pull all the anni unit and with Beast ab2 i pulled also on goku cause i like the unit. I think to skip the ww if i don't like the unit and if the are on par with Beast good, but i prefer to use also unit i like and not only from their power

I just don’t think we have to be as dramatic to skip such a big anniversary because no one was ever considering skipping these before all the sync shenanigans. Not to mention we’ll get plenty of stones from WW but yeah it’s ultimately up to you. As long as you’re playing the game how you want to play it.
I am heavily considering skipping and saving for Teq UI's return (because his domain is unmatched in utility imo) and STR Roshi because I'm an earth bred fighters guy. Especially since idk if WWDC will either last that long power creep wise or be that good for my box. It definitely depends. I am f2p btw.
they can always change the banner format. I think the only guarantee characters are golden week, 9th anni carnival characters, 8th years, and previous wwdc characters.
And they've also been releasing god tier characters constantly this year so ynk they could be insanely good.
The biggest problem is that Bandai doesn't know how to handle enemy powercreep. I get that you don't want to have the newer units outclass Red/Blue Zone content but in the span of a few weeks Global just went from having Cell Max, Blue Zone Beast Gohan, and LR DBS Gogeta as the hardest fights to now progressing towards Goku/Frieza. And Goku/Frieza is another case of bad powercreep especially with that stupid 10 million damage mitigater.
What are they gonna call WWDC now? The whole point of it's name was so that global and JP would be synced temporarily during the celebration. Now that both versions are going to be synced SYNCED, what's it going to be called now??
Most likely they'll do something similar to Pokemon Masters where they'll have a midpoint celebration for the other anniversaries going forward.
I feel like the dev team this year has really tried to design a plethora of good units this year.
I have a theory that Omatsu might need more credit because he did mention that it takes about a year to develop new LRs and such; it's very possible that "his" philosophy on unit design didn't get to take effect until this year which could explain why 2023 was so mid.
So I'm optimistic about WW; the fights have been challenging this year but nothing too crazy. The ONLY fight that I have a real "problem" with is the Goku/Frieza USS fight. 10 million damage threshold is too high especially after 2 phases of locking. Should've been 5 mil at the most or perhaps made it like the Buutenks RZ fight where his last phase as buff buu can hit hard but die super fast.
Great video, I think I'm only going to do 1-3 rounds on each of the DF banners and then save for 10th Anni. I usually summon for units that I don't already have, and since I'm a recent player I usually don't have some of the older Dokkanfests. Even then though, nobody really talks about how the New Years banner for 2025 is gonna have crazy value since it'll have 2024's EZA units and Dokkanfests. I'm probably going to save 600 stones for that and then the rest for the 10th Anniversary. I think it would be a good video idea to break down how New Years Step-Up is gonna look like. Good discussion about WW once again.

I'd beg to differ, sure, the value of the banners are insane, usually on the release of worldwide Download celebration lrs they are typically some of the best units in the game on their release, but in recent history they have not had the best aging process on top of that we are 6 months away from global being synced up with JP. For free to play players, it is essential that you save up for the anniversary. Those units usually have the longest lifespan in comparison to the rankings as the best units in the game. It's not that it's not worth it, it's just that because of the sync Free to play players which make up a majority of the game should not be spending on the banners or at least not go deep on them, this year it is not a must summon for global, it Will have high value but it is not warranted to summon
Bro next anniversary is in like 5.5 months.

Now imagine this. Beasthan doing everything teq piccolo does and teq piccolo doing everything cell max does, who would be the best unit in the game? And how would agl ui goku and ssjbe vegeta scale as of now without their eza's?
The problem is current meta bosses and redzones and most dokkan hard events, go frieza foing 5.7million even beast can slip up.
Heres what dokkan shoukd do, buff/rework or tweak the weaknesses of beloved units that everyone has a chance to get/already has (especially with upcoming wwdc) making them less weaker and more viable in runs by giving units like str super vegito defensive stats and some stacking similar to ssjbe vegeta and dodge units like str goku ui not relying U7 teams to be ran well

The gap of 9th to Wwdc to 10th is insanely close as we come to closer to merge the timeline of jp/global server.... Summon or not your choice how u want to enjoy the game ofc... 😊😊😊

some of the stuff you say is flat out wrong, birdku aged WAY better than the 7 anniversary units, and he was still runnable vs both syn and omega events, he was untouchable, LR cooler was completely fine vs PHY SYN event but I agrre he aged when OMEGA event dropped. 2021 frieza and goku does not count because of red zone and MUI and EVO vegeta also aged when red zone came around, LR EVO vegeta was easily the worst out of frieza, ssj goku, MUI and himself. and 2023 Vegito blue/zamasu was WAY better than 8th anni units vs the future red zone, blue vegito aged like milk, but zamasu is still runnable and can tank with his massive dmg reduction the first 2 appearances, after that he can still tank normals easily, only supers can kill him. only reason vegito blue aged like milk is because the new 9th anni events had bigger power creep than the 7th anniversary power creep, people forget this, and LR STR future gohan is still cooking close to almost every stage in the game as of today, he never dies for me. In the new EVO vegeta fight he works extremely well. can add more but do not want to write the bible here

JP will get the gammas and gogeta returning in those banner.
While for global we will likely get agl ultimate gohan and lr ginyu return on those banner.

Futur gohan is still a goat. I use him on my beast team (as a floater) and he tanks everything, even supers
We're not getting 9th anni powercreep again. The meta always resets every 2 years (I wasn't there for the first 3 years, but lge invalidated alot of characters during the 5th anni, red zone for the 7th, and sbs for the 9th) cooler and nameku were the exceptions because dokkan pushed aoe content, their numbers were still serviceable pre 9th anni (their teams not so much but we're not talking about them) str vegito had the highest damage output in the game all the way until red zone and buuhan was at least servicable. This wwdc should be safe to summon on, it's only next year that needs to be worried about.
Meta resets happen a lot more often than you think.
(Also to clarify LGE happen before the 5 anniversary, what started during the 5th year was Extreme super battle road)
Year 1. Dokkan events
Year 2: the start of the super battle road meta/ eza battles
Year 3: ultimate clash meta
Year 4: the start of the LGE/ stacking meta
Year 5: extreme super battle road
Year 6: god event
Year 7: red zone intima
Year 8: shadow dragon and zamasu red zone
Year 9: supreme battle spectacle
Powercreep has always reset every anni, it was just in the early years where your “major” power was how many LRs or dupes did you have to help you finish the fight before dying yourself.
If you go back to some of the 8th year content produced by others content creators you’ll notice the natural shift of people using 8th anniversary characters/eza and how a majority of the 7th year releases failed in those fights (since a lot of them relied on being able to first attack to get their defense)
Cooler lasted verry long, most anniversary and world wide charaters lasted a year. Zamasu is still amazing. Anniversary units fell out at a similar pace, zamasu is way better than gt duo. So skip anniversary is even with skip worldwide.
The world wide characters are always leagues ahead of the previous anniversary accept for agl freeza and int goku
I disagree on the units falling out in the similar pace.
As the anniversary characters tend to have the entire year of their debut being strong contenders for the game account.
Whereas the release of the worldwide for the past couple of years has had Lower life spans since the next anniversary is only 4 months and brings a new era/ wave of higher damage dealing bosses and more gimmicks.
I do think zamasu can be a greater unit than the gt duo but it’s also has to be acknowledged of his flaws with the domain issue which impacts his defensive capabilities with the release of the 9th anniversary fights.
@RazoraWorld you don't really need his domain he tanks good in slot 2-3, 1 on first 2 appearances. I think worldwide super types age fast but extreme always lasted a year+ cell, buu, freeza 7 months about, cooler 1 year, zamasu will probably be good for more than a year depends if he gets better units to run with.

I saved 3.2k stones. If its not db saga iam going to try to get 1 copy of the units nut safe the rest. Zhe 10th anni is going to be so fire like no other celeb.

I had the fortune to pull all the anny unit and mui teq with a remaining of 700 stone and with this sinc i'm not sure i want to pull before the 10th anni for all the reason u told and cause i think it will be very diff to lunch units stronger than beast and mui teq before the new anni

Having Beast and then getting shafted on UI kinda killed my hype I had during anni ngl...but not to force me into Hiatus like year 4 (that was prior to Z update, prob around the time they just introduced auto battle...idr)
If you have beast there’s no reason to be so drastic about not pulling UI, I was lucky enough and have one copy of each, Beast is still so much more versatile and straight up better than UI, UI can get you killed.

@@hoodiexfighter3186 sure that’s UNTIL he transforms which is turn 5 and before UI can even transform Beast is virtually untouchable and even after his intro ends he’s still tanking 90% of the game or even 100% if on global, UI it’s more of a support which I like and they incentivize you to run him slot one, and more often than not he can get caught bad if he decides not to dodge. When you Get UI sign to go UI he’s arguably the best for THAT turn, and more often than not that turn is very much the end of the fight, not saying he’s bad, he’s just not Beast Gohan rn.
