It known as the Maidan Revolution where the elected Ukrainian leader was ousted because of his pro Russian stance. Nuland and McCain encouraged hatred against Russia and the attack on eastern Ukraine began by the pro US government in 2014 . They attacked eastern Ukraine because the Eastern Ukrainians did not want to give up their cultural and religious heritage. No movie could have been more absorbing than watching this brave patriot's face as she explained why and what she is doing. My admiration has no words.
I immediately teared up hearing the blood-curdling scream from the woman first witnessing her city being bombed by Russians at minute 3. I don't cry much watching the news, even though it's terrible these days. I think we are all collectively getting numbed to horrific events because they are becoming so frequent. But when you hear a woman scream in horror for the town she loves, that hit a cord, hearing a human truly suffering. I continue to pray for Ukraine, and all other war-torn countries, and for a future of peace and love for other humans. We need to come together and realize at the end of the day, we are all humans, but we hate others and destroy the planet we need to survive... for what? Power? Money? When will we stop politicians from tearing us all apart and having the authority to justify deadly attacks on others? In times like these... we could all use more prayers and love. Again, I pray for Ukraine and the state of the world, that this collective suffering will end soon.

@@ivanangeli Peace as soon as possible: That would only happen if the Russians left tomorrow or either Russia or Ukraine are completely defeated in a very short time. Since neither is likely to happen any time soon, this war will keep dragging on.
Where Emerald was when ukranian government was killing their citizens back in 2014? Oh yes, probably still a child back then but does not justify about different treatment of people. I hope when she is a mother, it will change her prospective on life.

I heard the story of Emerald and her husband who's in the Frontline as well a few months ago, I don't recall from which channel. She's amazing brave woman, she has everything and she can simply get out of their country and live comfortably in other countries but she choose to fight for her devastated country. She's a hero and a skilled sharp shooter, I salute this kind of human being. What an inspiring war/love story. I pray that war will end soon and the couple survived and peace for every Ukrainian.
