What I don't understand at all is that I bought Pinnacle 25 Ultimate a few days ago and my transitions are nowhere to be found. Also my Newblue effects are nowhere to be found. Does anyone know how that happened. This is really a mystery.
because my video ended up without loading .load but I close program reloads everything again. How can I render it is another option the video in other options such as not rendering freezes the image for a while then continues to look normal
For the life of me I cannot find out to fade out one clip without if fading in the next clip. The transition says fade in OR out but it is fade in AND out (unless there is a way that is not intuitive, and that I could not find with two hours of google searches and playing with the transition editor). Please help. Ultimately, I want to be able to fade one clip out then BAM have the other clip start and then end without any transition and then have the next clip fade in. I tried everything I could think of, probably something simple like cutting the transition (but I couldn't do that). thanks in advance.
OK, I was experimenting some more and I was able to move the transition to fully cover the one clip, but it still had the second clip. I was then able to put a slight gap between the clips...that did the trick, if they aren't connected how can you transition between the two. I was trying that before but I think it was with the trial version.
Just found the answer. Go to Setup -> Project Settings and change the "Transition Mode" selected value into "Maintain Timeline Sync" instead of "Overlap Clips".
As someone who owns Pinnacle and used it a lot over time I would ask why anyone would ever use it again when DaVinvi Resolve is so much better. Pinnacle is fundamentally flawed and a massively bloated programme. It constantly crashes and freezes. Even writing a simplish title is often too much and memory messages say you need more RAM - I have 64G RAM! Product support always tries to tell you that your computer or computer management is at fault, but this is not so - it is the programme 100%. Download DaVinci Resolve for free and the problems just melt away as well as giving you more functionality. I wish Pinnacle would be honest about its problems.
Having tried both Resolve and Studio, The performance of Resolve is streets ahead but the content depth in free version of Resolve is so basic I ended up using Capcut

2D and 3D it says 20 items, only 5 showing? Doesn't seem right! Clicked on some arrows, managed to show 10, never 20. Why not just put them there?
HOw come there is only one artist transition in Pinnacle Studio 26? Doesn't that sound very little?
