- Annyoung doobies! It has been a while since I've sat down and spoken to you all. I'm thrilled to be back, and I finally feel like I'm in my element after a much-needed break.
Thank you so much for 2 million, I'm so so grateful for all the love and support. I'll continue to produce good content and make delicious recipes for us to all enjoy together. Love you, and see you soon :)
Pea Rice: same logic as the buseot sot bap recipe!

Instead use
3 cups short-grain white rice (sushi rice), soaked for 30 minutes
3 cups water
and add peas 3 minutes before the rice is done cooking.

Hey dooby! In Australia we have a pastry called "cheese kransky" where we wrap the pastry around the sausage instead. this way it doesn't shrink and you have the perfect pastry to sausage ratio!
glad you're back. "alone doesn't mean lonely" such a perfect way to put it. learning to be comfortable in ones solitude is a lesson i wish i learned in my 20s, it would have saved me a lot of headache/heartache.

Tip when testing recipes, don’t make all the products the same, experiment one each hot dog
For example, one hot dog cook it at a high temp, another with a thicker dough, another where you fold up the sides a little
This helps speed the testing process and lets you see all the differences all at once instead of making the same recipe for each test

Sometimes it’s ok to not be ok. I’ve been facing demons myself after my ex fiancé broke up with me after being with each for 7 years. She’s now happy with another guy and I can’t resent that because I blame myself for not as attentive as I was when from when we first started. S.Korea society frowns upon the idea of tattoos, that is why when K-pop stars suddenly has a tattoo especially the women, its a 50-50 if fans will still be with them or they will turn their backs on them
You have body autonomy. Your body belongs to you. You decide if you want tattoos or not. Conservative is another word for control. Policing other peoples lives and bodies are not cool and this is in particular not acceptable when it comes to females. Females are not property.

For the sausage/pastry recipe maybe look up toad in the hole. It’s a dish we have in the UK (unsure about elsewhere) but it’s sausages cooked in a Yorkshire pudding which is like dough-y texture 👌🏼 delicious!
We can never take Dooby for granted bc if she didn’t work as hard as she did in her school life, learn all these skills and languages, travel the way she did, study what she did, and just be herself, she never would’ve ended up making the best most satisfying videos that inspire us to be proud of ourselves too.

Found this channel today. I kind of feel like I found a kindred soul. I've been fighting with my mental health these past few years and a lot of bad habits have manifested.
Thanks to a previous video I'll buy "Atomic Habits" (in German). I also love to watch you cooking even though I don't get your obsession with spam (or any kind of meat). I do like cooking after I've actually bought the groceries... but baking cakes used to be my ritual...for me it is like meditation.
Seeing you traveling around so much I'm totally envious. I miss traveling Japan or my France/Spain roadtrip! But Korea is still on my bucket list.
My current life revolves around listening to lectures to become a lecturer myself because it took me until my late 30s to realize that education and educating is my passion. My international economics degree can go to hell.

I have never mentioned not working on my own issues but it is always nice to know you're not the only one struggeling. Sometimes we need to be reminded that what we see on facebook, Instagram or tiktok is mostly the facade we get to see of other's lifes.
Hi Tina. Congrats on 2M! :) I find it interesting how happiness is such a relative term. I would say based on what you choose to share, your life seems near perfect: a well-paid career that you are passionate about, supporting parents that you are close with, living in Seoul and such a nice apartment, being able to travel as part of the job etc. I would want to exchange my life with you if I’m being completely honest. But you are still not 100% happy and content with your life. Why do we (myself included) always crave for more even though what we have is more than enough. Can one ever be truly happy and content with life?
Its because you are looking in the wrong direction. The source of happiness or any experience in life comes from within, but everybody is trying to squeeze happiness from the world. It will never work. If you learn to take charge of your interiority, you will be joyful by your own choice not because of some arrangements you have made. If you want to know more message me back.

I'm older than you so my experience is that it's going to take you a while to find a passable guy - you're attractive, clever, funny, talented and successful (although not being in a defined "career" may upset you from an Asian perspective in not being a doctor, lawyer or accountant). It's just hard to find a good looking guy who has good characteristics - successful, smart, funny etc. - and doesn't want to sleep around because he can. It will work out for you in time though, I'm sure. Soz.

For the hot dogs a way you can get to to be more craddled is to wrap them in wax paper and freeze them or maybe bake them with the wax paper still on might save time that way.

Welcome back. It's great to see you posting videos again. I've always enjoyed watching your videos because they're really a great slice of Life from a very interesting woman. By the way I love coffee just as much as you. Maybe more. But I have to admit I love my old school percolator because I love the sound that it makes in the morning while brewing coffee and the perfume that fills the room. And most of all I love the simplicity of it. Modern technology is a really great in many ways. But when it comes to making my coffee in the morning I want to keep it simple and easy 😂😂😂

I knew a couple from Taiwan a while back that were in America as foreign exchange students. They made a pot of sweet peas once and shared them with me. They were so sweet and delicious. That's what your pot of peas reminded me of.
