Just bought the Odyssey. I have NO idea why you’d buy the Sienna. I drove it home in pour rain and it is silent and our pothole infested loop was almost unnoticeable. Our previous RAV4 sounded like the tires would come off. Extremely comfy for a 6’5” guy and technology that is really useful!
Ok, so you're comparing the noise level in your Odyssey to your Rav4? Apples to oranges? Drive a Sienna in the rain, then tell us how night and day the comparison was.
not sure how honda is but, Ive owned many other brands and have a toyota. When getting an oil change with others, even though they said free oil change, I still have to pay $50 min each oil change. The toyota we have had for 6 years, never paid a dime for oil change, only service. In 6 years we have paid under $500 for 2 services. so ya odyssey maybe new, I will go back to toyota for their servicing
Car Confections. The Sienna has the new D4-S V6 engine, with both Direct and Multi-Port injection, this eliminates the intake valve carbon build up problems in Direct Injection only engines, which is what the Honda has.
very true. In addition to carbon buildup on the intake valves, DI also uses up alot of fuel injectors since the injectors are located inside the blast chamber, that is an important thing to consider, its a deal breaker for me.
I just bought the 2018 Toyota Sienna for 3 main reasons compare to the Honda Odyssey. Toyota uses timing chain vs Honda uses timing belt(high maintenance long term), Toyota V6 engine with port and direct injection (avoid valve carbon build up long term) vs Honda only direct inject V6, and lastly is the problematic Honda ZF 9 speed transmission.
I like a gas cap (helps keeps the debris out) and a locking gas door. A higher ground clearance (honda is much lowere) and a sliding door that does not bang against the curb, when opening it. Honda door goes out and then slides on the ones I drove.
Excellent points. Hey, I was not aware that Honda still uses timing belts on these. That used to be a 6 hour repair at our dealership. On the other hand, I was not aware when Toyota stopped using a belt on the Sienna. Maybe 2010?
@@CaptainDawg02 Thanks for the info. If the ZF9 made from Chrysler, I'll stay away from Odyssey. Chrysler has poor credit on it's transmission. Till minutes ago I was thinking give Odyssey a try.
I've owned 2 Toyota vans; one got 254k miles and the second 285k. Had to finally replace the 2nd one in August, before I'd seen this video. However, I'd been looking around for a year or two because of the mileage on my last one--it was still running great, but how long can you drive a 16 year old van? Anyway, the one consistent thing I found was that if you were looking at used models, in my area there were 4-5 available Odyssey's vs 1 Sienna. (My local Honda and Toyota dealers are owned by the same family--between them, they had 17 used Odysseys and only 3 Siennas.) In the end, I bought a CPO'd 2018 Sienna XLE, 2 years maintenance free, plus the mileage I purchased my van at restarted the clock for the 100k warranty, meaning even though I bought it with 37k miles on it, I get powertrain warranty to 137k miles. Get your Honda dealer to do that for you.
I just looked at an Odyssey. The AC vents in middle row are in mid door. Any rear facing car seat will block and get no air at all 🤷🏼♂️. Not sure how that is good for families
Enjoy our comparison on two of the most advanced vehicles on the road: the all-new 2018 Honda Odyssey and refreshed 2018 Toyota Sienna! Also, please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE if you enjoyed :)
The seats are very comfortable and wide enough to fit all body types. Ride and handling seem roughly equivalent, obviously niether offer much in the way of excitement but that's not what van owners are looking for anyways.
Would love to see a comparison between 2019 touring elite and limited elite models of these vans. Though your videos are having me lean very closely to picking the odyssey. I enjoyed this video and the in depth one of the 2019 odyssey elite. Thanks!
Thanks for the great comparison. I need a minivan since my family is growing. Still very tough for me to decide between the two. I can't afford the new 2021 Toyota, so I have to opt the the best with my budget which is 2018 models. Toyota advantage: - AWD - Timing Chain Honda advantage: - Way better 2nd row bench seat (center seat) compared to Toyota child-like seat that they forgot to add in until after production. - More cabin room for passengers - Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
I like this comparison of the two mini vans, but I go for Sienna due to its reliability in this 2018 model comparing to 2018 Odyssey having 9/10 speed transmission issues + doors + central console malfunctioning issues..etc
I agree. If our 2007 Odyssey gets totaled, the replacement minivan would definitely be this one. Honda doesn't suck, but their larger vehicles don't perform as well as Toyota's
I like the analog gauges in the Sienna better. The Odyssey’s gauge cluster is disappointing, I would have given the point to Toyota there. As far as reliability I’d say it’s a draw. I like Honda products in general, however the AWD availability in the Sienna would make it my choice as far as minivans. Good review by the way.
My criteria for minivan: 1. Reliable, don’t let the family stay at the road side; 2. Space, that’s minivan for, otherwise buy a SUV or wagon; 3. Easy to maneuver, bigger interior space but small exterior, easy parking and turn; 4. Good price... top 3 go to Sienna
The Sienna does not offer 4WD. However it does offer an AWD option, don't get the twos mix up. As far as " safety " goes, they're about the same. If you're talking about off the line traction then yes, the AWD will have the advantage, but it will have a longer stopping distance compare to the FWD which is more important in term of " safety ". If you live where it doesn't get colder than 40 degree F, a FWD will do just fine. Otherwise a proper set of winter tires will be much safer.
Dick Ball - How many times are you going to mention your perceived failing Honda transmission? I sold our '06 Odyssey with 280,000 that ran perfect and shifted smoothly.
I think he gets paid by Toyota to bash Honda vehicles in the comments section with this random false claim of unreliability. I guess resale values must be made up as well...
I like how you compare bone empty (technology wise) 06 Odyssey (with more reliable materials) with electronics full 18 Odyssey made-not-to-last-forever (like all modern vehicles).
I bought my 18 ody in aug 2017, went through couple non safety problem, no regret although I saw the service dude more than my dad lol. The only reason I bought mine without a second thought is the 2nd row slidable captain chairs! I went test drive the Sienna, driving was superior, but the heck was, simply look at the second row, the middle seat has a metal pole expanding out when you take it out lol. What's going on?
Should have used the Sienna SE in this comparison. 19" wheels and looks WAY better. Also sportier suspension and a nice looking black interior. Sienna is also more powerful and more reliable.
leeozawa I’m speaking about their transmissions as well. I know someone with a 2011 civic with 310k miles, original tranny, regular scheduled maintenance. If you take care of things, they last
@@alfredo9494 The Honda Odyssey made 5-stars in the following NHTSA** simulations: Overall Front Star Rating Front Passenger Side In contrast, the Toyota only earned 4-stars, and it entirely lacks the Odyssey’s available Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM). I also like that Honda has more room & has a sliding seat on the 2nd row for easy access to 3rd row.
Michelle Vargas yeah, my dad had a 2012 odyssey and around 65k miles, it gave us lots of problems (a/c, bearings, weird noises), my dad didn’t want it anymore and ended up getting a 2019 last fall. We also thought about a Pacifica.
There's not really a comparison if you're comparing the Toyota sienna limited. Toyota last longer and it's cheaper to fix. The entertainment system in the vehicle is also better. Cabin watch is a useless feature and promotes distracted drivers. The Honda Can't beat the Toyotas all wheel drive. I live in Maine the winters are terrible the roads are bad you need to have something like that.
I am an Odyssey fan and own the first two generations. However, I am not excited about the curve look of the Odyssey. It's more soccer mom look to me. I still love minivan for their utility nature. My next minivan will be Sienna XLE AWD for sure.
I like that they carried the lightning bolt theme over from the last Gen. I don't like the fact that they look at just soccer moms as it's a great utility vehicle plus. But I like the look but my 2016 still has appeal for me as well. But I don't buy a vehicle like this based on cosmetics only. Yeah it's nice to have a ride that looks great but it could be a 3 dressed up as a 9 and be lousy overall. Just saying.
Once inside you can't see the outside. In my 55 years of car ownership, I have never had someone come up to me and say, "man you have an unattractive car". What's wrong with you people.
We have a 2018 Toyota Sienna XLE, which replaced our 2006 Sienna Limited Trim. With the third row seats flat, tucked in, our two huge German Shepherds have plenty of room to comfortably endure long rides. A few safety measures are missing in 2018 that were standard in the 2006: 1. Front parking Sonar sensors. 2. No cruise control if 2.a the wipers were ON, and 2.b you were driving nighttime into the blinding glare of oncoming traffic or at bright sunrise or sunset.
I LOVE my Hondas, but because of the transmission issues, I will never buy another. It's not even having to replace the transmission, it's that Honda doesn't manufacture the new ones so you can only get a remanufactured one and they DON'T feel near as good! I will say, to have a 300,000 and 400,000 mile engine in perfect condition is pretty awesome!
You nailed it! Awesome video! Keep doing what you doing. In the future would like to see Highlander vs... whatever you decide as compatible.... I really loved this video!
Both are great, can't go wrong with either one. The Sienna is a little outdated compare to the Odyssey, but Toyota usually offers great rebates and incentives which will attract more buyers who are on a budget.
Test drove 19 Odyssey with 20 Sienna. The seats on Honda are very uncomfortable. The bulge in the mid of the seat causes pressure to the back and the seat feels like it’s closing in on you. Am positive it will be uncomfortable for long rides. I disagree with the leg space in the mid row. In the Sienna you can move the seats a lot back thus giving a lot of leg room. The seats of Sienna are lot better. The Sienna rode a lot smoother, more quieter. Few things worry me about Sienna is that I have heard the tires wear out quickly. Currently the old Odyssey that my parents have had issues with dual climate control in the 4th year and ac went bust in the 8th year. The sliding doors went bust in the 9th year. Also Sienna has a AC outlet where you can charge your laptop.
love your reviews. I would suggest though you weigh your point system more accurately. for example, the material on the inside door stuff, should not be worth 1 point, when something like reliability and cargo space is also worth only 1 point each. Something like door aesthetics should be worth more like 0.5 points. Like different levels of points depending on importance.
@@CarConfections you should consider adding type of engine criteria, such as between direct injection engine(odyssey) direct and port injection (sienna) and in that crucial department sienna wins. Research these 2 types and you will know which is better.
You could not have done a better job. If you are a car salesman, I would not mess with you ; ) You covered everything and did it in a quick and pleasant way.
No doubt the Odyssey wins. The Sienna hasn’t gone through a full redesign since 2011 and it’s age is showing. Hell, the Sienna doesn’t even have LED tail lights for goodness sake. It’s 2018 and not even offering LEDs as a premium option is sorta ridiculous.
the odysseys transmission can explode and Honda has lots of issue EDIT: I think the Toyota is better because of my experiences with Honda's transmission, but others could like the Odyssey better.
Erix - so could the Toyota's...they both are components with moving parts. The fallacy of one car having more issues over the other reeks of fanboy. If that was the case, the Odyssey wouldn't have the best resale value...
LeD is an ok upgrade. But led headlights heat up too much and need an exhaust. Regular halogen or xenon doesnt need that. Also, wavelength of gas bulbs work better on foggy roads. Led has shorter wavelength
Do not buy the Odyssey I repeat do not buy the Odyssey. I have been a 2018 Odyssey EX-L owner since February 2018 and it has been in the shop for half the time for the same problems. The infotainment system is a mess riddled with bugs. The locking system and the power sliding doors are not reliable. Honda keeps changing parts out and nothing fixes the problem. I have called Honda USA and they are looking into it. I have even taken it to two different dealerships and still, no one can fix it. At this point, I am looking at pursuing a lemon law claim on the Odyssey. Honda dropped the ball on this model year and if you want a stress free life, get the Sienna or any other minivan.
Good review! Thanks! I'm utterly astounded that the Toyota wouldn't have integrated Apple or Android already - that seriously is a huge fail for me. I see Dickywhatever making a million comments against Honda transmission, but it's hard to take that seriously when it's like basically one person making all the comments trashing the Honda transmission LOL
9 speed is not that reliable but 10 speed on higher trims is better. According to media reports. Honda uses 10 speed on new Accord as well so I suspect it will be more reliable in long run.
Best comparison presentation that I've seen! I like how you deal with "both the big and the small" , and award a point system. The only slight difference I would make with the excellent option of displaying the presentation as split screen, is to allow maybe one or two seconds longer on each item so a person can take a moment to kind of assess the comparisons a little better. Thank you for this comparison video, it happens to be two vehicles that I'm considering buying. Overall from this I'm liking the Odyssey better, although there are a couple of small features that I would prefer that are in the Sienna.
The Toyota Sienna’s safety system is standard. And to add to that TSS is standard on majority of their vehicles. Honda will make you purchase that. I was looking to buy a corolla or civic, when I heard leds and safety systems weren’t standard on the civic I went to toyota for sure. LEDs and Safety is the main things for cars.
both are excellent vehicles. But like Chris inductivo said Toyota has more reliable powertrain.... so my choice is sienna although 2GR-FE engine is loud
Love the Odyssey and the Pacifica, but the Sienna's track record for reliability is incredible. We still won't buy a new one. Not paying that kind of money for a vehicle that hasn't been redesigned since model year 2011. Sorry bud, not happening. A used 2018 will do just fine.
Pacifica - love their styling,.. but sorry for your repair bills. ( if even the future ones ). Remember ,.. it's a Chrysler,.. so if bought new,... only good for 4-6 years (on rare occasions a little more) before things start going.
Great review/comparison.. Thanks for posting.. But one thing.. I think you made a mistake at 10:32 with the gauges ... You say the Honda gauges are more "high tech" (this is automatically good??) and (for some reason) you gave a point to the Honda. I like the Toyota's gauges way better - because they're more traditional, look way better, and easier to read/understand.. The Honda's gauges look gimmicky (like a cheap video game) and way less intuitive. I think you should have given the point to the Sienna (and subtracted a point from the Honda)... Oh, and I like the shifter way better in the Toyota Sienna too..
growing up my family had an odyssey and now its collecting dust because of transmission slips and it only has a little over 200k miles. if i do end up getting a minivan, im going with toyota. i dont want to risk dealing with the transmission down the road.
That's the point,.. The Sienna is still reliable, cause they didn't tinker with it to a large extent. It's a common understanding you don't buy a new line of a vehicle for at least 2 years till they work the bugs/kinks out. Cheers
Great review with the point system. An important criteria that you should add, is the types of engines. in this case honda used direct injection and toyota uses port and direct injection, and obviously the toyota wins that department. Thats a deal breaker for me considering the cons of direct injection and the pros of multiport injection
Excellent video! Very smartly portrayed. You sound young, but very smart!

Thanks for not being helpful.
It's not a Honda transmission...the Honda transmission is 10 speed. The ZF9 is made by Chrysler.
Johnny Zheng - Honda has their own 10 speed transmission in the Touring and Elite trims. Phenomenal transmission. Super smooth!
My mom has a Honda for 15+ years with no problems.. I got a Honda touring 2016 which is great, I just wish the Honda had all wheel drive.
i have an 05 odyssey touring and still looks and runs like new
Which one will go 350k miles without engine or transmission failure?
Sienna
my 2005 odyssey touring still runs like new
me too
My 07 Odyssey Touring is dead due to timing belt failure.
@@TheVitalishe had timing done 96 thousand miles and 185 thousand miles
mine broke at 170K miles
@@TheVitalishe that sucks mine got crashed 3months ago total loss
Great review.....you can’t go wrong with either....press the button and go, practical, high tech....slight edge to the HONDA...I’d drive either !
Thanks!
How comfortable are the seats for the driver and passenger? How do they drive?
The seats are very comfortable and wide enough to fit all body types. Ride and handling seem roughly equivalent, obviously niether offer much in the way of excitement but that's not what van owners are looking for anyways.
H. robb the front seats are nice. The passenger doesn’t move up and down or have lumbar tho
Has Honda fixed the 9speed on the 2019? I’ve always owned Honda’s, but the new odyssey was rated the least reliable minivan.
Would love to see a comparison between 2019 touring elite and limited elite models of these vans. Though your videos are having me lean very closely to picking the odyssey. I enjoyed this video and the in depth one of the 2019 odyssey elite. Thanks!
Thanks! We're glad you enjoyed it and found it helpful! And we appreciate you watching!
Thanks for the great comparison. I need a minivan since my family is growing. Still very tough for me to decide between the two.
I can't afford the new 2021 Toyota, so I have to opt the the best with my budget which is 2018 models.
Toyota advantage:
- AWD
- Timing Chain
Honda advantage:
- Way better 2nd row bench seat (center seat) compared to Toyota child-like seat that they forgot to add in until after production.
- More cabin room for passengers
- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
I’m in the same boat.
Thanks!! Glad you liked it! And yeah, some of the points were pretty close, but at the end of the day the choice is yours!
Actually driving both vans would have made it a good review.
Both van are awesome, but I would go with the sienna because it's the only van with 4wd. So safety come first before looks 😁
KanJi Vang Yep...as much as I love Odysseys, I'm gonna have to go with Siennas, Toyotas last forever...😂
Otherwise a proper set of winter tires will be much safer.
glad u chose sienna I have a sienna from 2011
AWD doesn't do much for safety, snow tires make a bigger difference.
KanJi Vang but Honda actual safety ratings are better.
I feel you should have mentioned engine reliability more in depth.
A different tranny, maybe?
The tranny in the 2018+ Odyssey Touring and Touring Elite is Honda built...10 speed. Works great!
I think he means the newer Odyssey
I own a 2019 sienna se and it's awesome 👌. Odyssey don't have a chance on my van
Rather than complicated and rather unreliable electronic screens, it sure would be nice to have simple twist knobs for the HVAC and radio.
I agree 100%. It's something I don't like about my 05 sienna van.
Very interesting perspective. The side by side comparison was enlightening.
Glad you liked it!
Technology=Odyssey
Reliability=Sienna
How is the Honda not reliable? 😂
Gryazev-Shipunov is that why all the Honda owners I know have their cars with 300k miles on it?
I agree even if I used both models
300k on engine. NOT the transmission. ie. My odyssey has 204,000 on engine. On 4th transmission!
leeozawa I’m speaking about their transmissions as well. I know someone with a 2011 civic with 310k miles, original tranny, regular scheduled maintenance. If you take care of things, they last
@Car Confections. You forgot to mention that the sienna can be had with 19 inch wheels on the SE trim
I like the sienna, but odyssey won my heart. I bought a 2019 odyssey because of its NHTSA’s 5-Star Safety Ratings. Safety first before anything else.
@@alfredo9494 The Honda Odyssey made 5-stars in the following NHTSA** simulations:
Overall Front Star Rating
Front Passenger Side
In contrast, the Toyota only earned 4-stars, and it entirely lacks the Odyssey’s available Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM).
I also like that Honda has more room & has a sliding seat on the 2nd row for easy access to 3rd row.
Turns into a pumpkin at 60k miles. No thanks.
Great video, thanks. Sienna all the way. My 2004 sienna is 440,000 kilometres - the performance is AWESOME!
Sienna the best
I am an Odyssey fan and own the first two generations. However, I am not excited about the curve look of the Odyssey. It's more soccer mom look to me. I still love minivan for their utility nature. My next minivan will be Sienna XLE AWD for sure.
agree, i don't like the new look of the Odyssey
This is my favorite looking model to date.
A few safety measures are missing in 2018 that were standard in the 2006:
1. Front parking Sonar sensors.
2. No cruise control if
2.a the wipers were ON, and
2.b you were driving nighttime into the blinding glare of oncoming traffic or at bright sunrise or sunset.
How about putting the center seat in the trunk, do you see how bulky how Honda is? And you can configure the legroom however you want.
How do they drive in comparison the most important thing to compare omitted?
Why is it that the Odyssey is longer by 3 inches but has less Cargo space than the Seinna ?
muddyriverdogz because the spacing between rows of seats are bigger
Love the side by side take. Best comparison yet
I like the odyssey better. Especially with the touring headlights. you also need to do a review on the 2018 Kia Forte EX
Dicky Ball inferior? You mean interior?
Dicky Ball my uncle has 240k miles on his odyssey and it never had a problem, 2006
Alexziah Estrada once they reach 60k miles, there will be problems. At least with the 4th gens.
Wait, doesn’t Sienna have a hidden remote engine starter where you use just the lock/unlock buttons? Maybe it’s just on limited trim
You can get remote start as an optional assessory on any trim for $499. We unfortunately didn't have it
I LOVE my Hondas, but because of the transmission issues, I will never buy another. It's not even having to replace the transmission, it's that Honda doesn't manufacture the new ones so you can only get a remanufactured one and they DON'T feel near as good! I will say, to have a 300,000 and 400,000 mile engine in perfect condition is pretty awesome!
What do you need an intercom system in a car for? It's all basically one room.
You nailed it! Awesome video! Keep doing what you doing. In the future would like to see Highlander vs... whatever you decide as compatible.... I really loved this video!
Thanks! :)
Both are great, can't go wrong with either one.
The Sienna is a little outdated compare to the Odyssey, but Toyota usually offers great rebates and incentives which will attract more buyers who are on a budget.
Dicky Ball you own one?
Hybrids Vader - he doesn't. He is a Toyota fanboy.
Hybrids Vader id pick a 2004 sienna over a 2018 oddysey. Toyotas built like rocks.
Come on, be fair.
Dicky Ball Honda’s do not have transmission problems my mom has one and she never had transmission problems so you are wrong
All through the years my YOTAs did well!! thanks for the review looking forward to get 2020 AWD Sienna! ( year of the virus)
Thanks! We are actually doing the half point thing in more recent comparisons!
@@CarConfections you should consider adding type of engine criteria, such as between direct injection engine(odyssey) direct and port injection (sienna) and in that crucial department sienna wins. Research these 2 types and you will know which is better.
Thanks a lot. The most in depth and practical comparison I saw.
Glad you liked it! Thanks!
You could not have done a better job. If you are a car salesman, I would not mess with you ; ) You covered everything and did it in a quick and pleasant way.
Thanks, Megan! We appreciate it!
Why don't you show how to remove the second-row seats?
No doubt the Odyssey wins. The Sienna hasn’t gone through a full redesign since 2011 and it’s age is showing. Hell, the Sienna doesn’t even have LED tail lights for goodness sake. It’s 2018 and not even offering LEDs as a premium option is sorta ridiculous.
Sean Mangubat don't forget, the grand caravan had led tail lights since 2011
the odysseys transmission can explode and Honda has lots of issue
EDIT: I think the Toyota is better because of my experiences with Honda's transmission, but others could like the Odyssey better.
Especially when you consider the price of replacing LED lights, few buyers on the fence would consider this the deal maker/breaker.
James Calderon 🚀🚀
Honda has put in effort to fix those problems!
Even the best cars have their lemons
Did you get any resolution yet? American Honda is very good at resolving troubles. Hope you sorted it ou. Like to hear one way or the other.
Thanks for the info ,I've had many Toyota very reliable
Can you please post a video of the 2018 Toyota Sienna L Base Trim Level & 2018 Honda Odyssey LX Trim Level Comparison?
can you do one of these for 2021/2022?
Should've just reviewed both top of the line models. Lots of features were missed on the Sienna.
Is it has a brake holder?
Good review! Thanks! I'm utterly astounded that the Toyota wouldn't have integrated Apple or Android already - that seriously is a huge fail for me. I see Dickywhatever making a million comments against Honda transmission, but it's hard to take that seriously when it's like basically one person making all the comments trashing the Honda transmission LOL
9 speed is not that reliable but 10 speed on higher trims is better. According to media reports. Honda uses 10 speed on new Accord as well so I suspect it will be more reliable in long run.
At 17:09 did any hear sirens 🚨?
Best comparison presentation that I've seen! I like how you deal with "both the big and the small" , and award a point system.
The only slight difference I would make with the excellent option of displaying the presentation as split screen, is to allow maybe one or two seconds longer on each item so a person can take a moment to kind of assess the comparisons a little better.
Thank you for this comparison video, it happens to be two vehicles that I'm considering buying. Overall from this I'm liking the Odyssey better, although there are a couple of small features that I would prefer that are in the Sienna.
So glad you liked it!
Please do a 2020 comparison
Are both CVTs?? Thought of getting a second hand what do you think of their CVTs?
Neither of them have CVT's...
@@CarConfections yeah they do in their spec sheet
did a good job of comparing this two nice van
I have this Honda. No complaints. Very good minivan.
When you talk about the wheels and brakes please add braking performance numbers. @6:55.
Nice detailed vid. I just wish they offered the Odyssey in AWD.
They do now!
which one has smoother ride?
The Toyota Sienna’s safety system is standard. And to add to that TSS is standard on majority of their vehicles. Honda will make you purchase that. I was looking to buy a corolla or civic, when I heard leds and safety systems weren’t standard on the civic I went to toyota for sure. LEDs and Safety is the main things for cars.
Can someone tell me if the seat in between the pilot seats in the front, backseat row can be removed? On either vehicle.
It cannot
Car Confections Thanks!
how nice is that side-to side- 2nd row seat movement, eh parents with fighting kids?
both are excellent vehicles. But like Chris inductivo said Toyota has more reliable powertrain.... so my choice is sienna although 2GR-FE engine is loud
Our 2018 passenger sliding door sometimes doesn’t close all the way.
In which brand? Is your car a Toyota Sienna or a Honda Odyssey? And is your sliding door a power door? or is it manually operated?
Could you do a video on the 2018 Kia Sedona sxl plz it is also a minivan
Kia are coming up in reliable. They depreciate lots....best deal on a used one.
Love the Odyssey and the Pacifica, but the Sienna's track record for reliability is incredible. We still won't buy a new one. Not paying that kind of money for a vehicle that hasn't been redesigned since model year 2011. Sorry bud, not happening. A used 2018 will do just fine.
I have a Pacifica and after this video I like the sienna more than the odyssey
yes , over all
Pacifica - love their styling,.. but sorry for your repair bills. ( if even the future ones ). Remember ,.. it's a Chrysler,.. so if bought new,... only good for 4-6 years (on rare occasions a little more) before things start going.
Can you make a review vs. video with Toyota Sienna vs Honda early models?
Very carefully completed work like a project. And very thoughtful from customer point of view. Excellent and thanks.
Thanks for the kind words!
Why does everyone press the lock button twice before pressing the remote start button?
Nice review and comparison. Thanks.
Glad you liked it!
A replacement FOB for the Toyota is over $400.00. I was shocked.
Honda is not bad though, I already bought 2019 Honda Odyssey EX-L.
vaccuum on Odyssey was not mentioned.
Cuz it’s not on this trim
Excellent video. I will say it’s not 100% fair to compare both vehicles as the Sienna is not updated yet for 2018 yet the odyssey is.
