This is by far theeeeeeeeeeeeeeee besssssst leopard pastel tutorial that I may have watched. I am charmed by the grace and ease at which you attacked this piece. Well that's what we see ! The final result is amazing, breath taking, I am bordering speechless so I shall praise your talent, skill and gift instead lol! I am getting my soft pastel supplies in and I am really inspired by you to explore with less anxiety. Oh and I love the music choice, you working the pencil seems to fit the symphonic music. It is as if you are orchestrating! Stay safe and inspired! Onto figuring out pastel sticks... As a beginner who has pitt pastels and probably going to get pastelmat, it would probably be silly to get student grade sticks lol...Rembrandt then?

This is phenomenal! I’m studying art and design at the moment. Oil pastels is a medium I avoid because I’ve found them difficult to work with. Ur I’ll try again after seeing this and learning different ways to use and blend them. Truly stunning work 👏🏻

Hi there, thanks for the comment! These are actual soft pastels, they’re different to oil pastels. Soft pastels are dry, they’re a bit like chalk. I hope this helps 😊
