The bloke who lived there was a solicitor, and until recently his business website was still active. I saw the Puma on an earlier UE video, it had a personalised plate with his initials, but given the cowling on the floor I wonder if the steering lock has been forced and the car recently stolen, or more likely "weighed in". Google street view shows the house in better times ten or so years ago. I was told the fire was started by an Electrical fault, with multiple overloaded extension leads running under the carpet and up the stairs powering a number of convector heaters in the bedrooms, the fire damage would seem to match that explanation but who knows!, there are several versions circulating as to the cause. Either way, the place is far more trashed than on the earlier video, so yeah it was hoarded, but the vandalism, leaking water mains and ransacking is all recent and makes it look far worse than when the old guy lived there.
Afternoon, Dave and Paul! Love the countryside scenery at intro! Such a sad story behind every abandoned home! After years and years of living your life, then to lose a loved one, grief takes many facades. I'm sure the home was lovely at one time, before hoarding set in, many of these elderly couples tend to keep everything and build a wall around materialistic things. And in the end... Nothing really matters! 😢
Its NEVER ok to steal from someone elses pain and suffering. I get so pissed when i see a creator take things from an abandoned place.ppl have no grace. Leave it better than u found it!!!! Obviously, u get it. Thank u for being so respectful.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow, it's such a shame what people have done to the house 😢 Absolutely no need for it whatsoever. They should learn to keep their thieving mitts to themselves. I remember pretty much all those toys from my childhood, and my brother having the Thomas the Tank wallpaper, lol. As usual, another great explore, thank you Dave ❤ x

I live just outside of Toronto, and within about 20 miles of me , out in the country, there's 'a house that has one of those English phone boxes down at the end of their driveway ! They used it as a shelter for their kids, when they were waiting for the school bus to pick them up, in the cold winter months or on rainy days. It looks SO out of place, somehow - like it's 'lost' in another country - but way cool, anyway ! :)
Hi Dave what a shame the cottage must have been lovely once, it would be lovely to see Mark again I've missed him but Paul seems a nice guy too. Take care of yourself ❤️
With all the stuff everywhere, it makes me wander where they had everything stored and placed so it would look nice. There was just so much stuff everywhere.
At one time this home was probably a beauty to behold. Looks to me like one after another over time people have been inside just looting thus everything strown everywhere. Would have been a great find before it was destroyed. Thank you for exploring.
HI, Dave and Paul, I was really hoping one of you would try and turn off the tap, but I don't think you can even get to it or if there IS a tap any more!
I have so many cassettes, and it took me forever to find a new cassette player. The other one passed away years ago, lol. I was so happy I could jump for joy I have found one.I do have a DVD player but with the amount of cassettes I had I didn’t want them to go to waste and not be able to hear them. It’s always amazing what you find in old homes. It’s too bad somebody can’t fix those places up before they get to the place of no return. You’re doing great job! I enjoy your channel. Thank you.
I love your enthusiasm and the heart that you have for what you do and the respect you show for the homes and places that you go into. Be safe and God bless❤
There's so much melancholy in that place. But I see slight hints of the beautiful life he lived with his wife and children. I am glad you are back in the UK Dave. I don't really watch any other explorers in the UK exclusively so I missed your videos while you were gone. As a viewer, we know the ones who are there for the real reason and we notice from their videos when things go missing. It happens in other areas. I can tell you that I see your reason for exploring, the lens captures it, your voice tells its story, there are no fake emotions - real, raw and true. Each item you hold with care, each family, you show respect. You are a credit and one of the best Urban Explorers out there. Remember the scriptures in the Bible the Lord says, "Vengeance is Mine". You keep doing you (never change) and the truth will always set you free and the others will face their own. Take care, stay safe and God Bless! xoxo 💞 Kat
Great video Dave and Paul, I agree with you about the lotters and destroyers there no need to do this to others properties. It's such a sad story. Thank you for share this video, take care.
I don’t understand why people trash these places. I would definitely be worried about spiritual repercussions. I would also contact the local authorities and the utility services to visit the place, isolate services and board up the property. Love ya ❤
THIS is such an amazing explore! I LOVE time capsules even if they are a bit on the sad side! I feel like since a bunch of you have been bringing more attention to filming them and making a point to leaving them UNvandalized, more people are being as respectful now.....at least that is what I am telling myself. It is so disappointing when people go and destroy those places. Thank you so much for sharing your finds!! And also to your viewers that help to dig up info on the places, that is really neat too!! ❤❤❤
Brother you not in the paranormal but at 10:22/23 i saw a orb flying Bye it went around the corner haha love the house bye the way its so beautiful hidin 🤝🏻🧡🧡🧡

Crazy that a place can just sit there abandoned for so long. I love finding out about who lived there and why it was left. btw love the car knowledge, amazing! 💗
I love your videos. I imagine how the abandoned homes were when filled with family. Some of the furniture reminds me of what my mom owned. Keep up the good work.
Betty White was younger, that photo looks like it dates to the 1970's and she appeared to be about 65 years old. Betty died a couple of years ago, in her 90's. I'm guessing Betty was about 15 years younger.
Hey guys another great explore ,love the way you tell us what you know about the home and the people that occupied them.. so sad that this one is in such a mess .. can’t wait for next vid 👍
Amazing explore Dave and Paul, so sad when people think it’s ok to destroy abandoned homes. It’s so sad when you see photos left behind and eventually those memories will disappear. Love your drone and camera cinematography with the music you put with it. Looking forward to seeing Mark come back you guys make such a great team!!
hi Paul, nice to meet you. Dave, Im with you about those who trash these abandoned homes, they sure are scum. I rekon that bad smell (especially in kitchen) was from that water leeking out, wet carpet smell is NOT nice, plus the noises you heard could be rats - which would add to the stench. thanks for showing this home to us
Hi Dave and Paul, this guy was definitely a hoarder, which makes me so sad for him. People grieve in different way, maybe that helped. I think the fire department may have caused some of the mess, and the water damage definitely added to decay. Looking forward to Marky's return. Thanks for a great video. Love from N.Y.
Hi Dave & Paul. The lady in the photo looks like Doris Speed who played Annie Walker in Coronation St in the 70s. I decorated my sons room with the Thomas wallpaper in 1993. Great video lam sure it was a well loved home back in the day. Thanks for taking me exploring with you. ×××
When you go in to explore these abandoned homes, mansions etc, you do a brilliant job. The thing that is really getting under my skin is homes like this one. Firstly, what joy does someone get out of throwing everything around the home, being gone through and then discarded? Secondly, where was all this stuff located within the home? Coz there's a lot of stuff. But being someone who used to move heaps, with 4 children, you always find a space for everything you hold near and dear. Whoever did this damage should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
Hi guys. Just found your channel and really enjoyed your explore! Always makes me sad when a home where so much loved was shared, is left abandoned. So many belongings left behind that others have ransacked! Such a shame!
Hi Dave and Paul great explore such a sad story attached to this house . Brilliant video respect to your professionalism and nice to see Paul on video can’t wait to see mark back as well stay safe

It’s so sad, it’s such a shame isn’t it what happens may you rest in peace you can feel the vibes in that house you can feel the pain is amazing to see his place is still standing and his nature has taken its course and grown over. It is also beautiful to see. Thank you once again for sharing.
Dave that letter was so heart touching if I could heal people in the street who are in wheelchairs I would anx paul was very lucky he did not hurt himself seriously 💯💯👍

Amazing drone and camera cinematography Dave & Paul. Some people have zero respect for people‘s property, abandoned or not. Keep exploring but keep safe.
