Started this game yesterday and went looking for tips. You're videos are the best so far.

Thanks for the vid always nice with some tips on a new game that dosent hold your hand at all and tell you how to do things. Also any tips on how to use the radio? do i just keep it in the inventory or what?
Hey thanks for checking out my content! And yes you just put it in your inventory and it will show you were hordes, bandits , traders etc are on the map.

I was thinking, can I build a farm just outside another group's fortress ? Can even put fences up extending out of their fortress. That way I get free protection, and I can trade what not and have good relations with them. Would that be the easiest way to do it ? I cleared a town and took over a building, but I had constant attack from red and white infection groups, I can't even handle it.

1.how much food can be produce from one square of corn farm?
2.how much food do i need to feed for a community of four people in a day?
3.is that guarantee to give me back those seeds?

1. Depending on what level your farmer is I’ve gotten like 6 corn back but my farmer wasn’t even full level I don’t believe. 2. I have no idea most of the time I can’t even keep my community fed lol. 3. I don’t know which level of farmer you’ll need but I think level three you get seeds back pretty often.

Hey there thanks for watching my content! I sadly don’t know how those really work myself but I could try and figure it out and if I do I can make a vid about then but at this point I’m just as lost as everyone else lol
@@sniperman1109 yeah someone should probably bring it to the devs attention that the personality stuff needs a bit more clarity. Or at the very least a wiki for it which I found no info.
@@VT_Pancakes From what i've learned so far Personality comes into to play with large groups . Each different Personality type reacts different with others, for expamble they will be annoyed by each other and sooner or later fight each other. It also comes into play when people have low morale for expamble if u don't have a certain personailty type for that person you need to cheer up, you will just make things worse. If u have a personailty that goes well with theirs ( more of a leaders personality) u can cheer them up. Different personilty combo's come into play on how long their moral keeps high again.
Keep in mind still very early access and I’m sure the dev will do some major upgrading on everything later on down the road
@@sniperman1109 Oh neat, Ive been getting pretty good at the combat. I came from project zomboid and state of decay 1. and I saw this game had a lot of that 'state of decay' qualities without the cardboard box npcs and more freedom in base building. While also being very harsh like zomboid in the beginning. Lovin' it so far lol
Why did your build your farms far away from friendly base? I use them as meat shields. Do you need to keep the radio on you to find raiders or survivors? What about maps? Can I read them and put them in a container? How do you know if your guys got bit by a zombie? Will it register as damage? What about log files when they say something important?

Does the snow ever go away? I just started the game and it spawn me into a town, able to fight of the zombie using your tips. Should i just look for green pasture where there's no snow?

I bought a map for 145 gold, it shows all the ore on the map. No clue why i bought it.
Do you know how many degrees is acceptable for farming?
Usually as long as the temp doesn’t drop in the negative range your in good shape from my experience
Anyone has any idea how to revise farming areas in case you want to move base?
Oh yeah very easy just select your farmer the click set farm zone and the when you have any type of seed selected right click some of the farm zone you don’t want anymore and it will go away. Thanks for checking out my content 😁

Can you do it all the year? Winter too?
No, you can only play during mid to late spring and throughout summer. Your crops will die if they aren’t harvested by the start of late fall or early winter, so make sure to harvest you crops! Thanks for watching!😁
