Fucking LOVED Eric and Pam the second they were introduced, and mostly because I love the boy girl friendships, that's just pure love and its platonic. so epic.. I love relationships like that and TV shows don't do them enough, they always got to make the 2 hookup, and fall in love and then they break up and it just ruins everything. So when it does happen I always appreciate it, I mean when it got to the last few seasons of True Blood, they were the only reason I watch. I am a Eric and Sookie shipper Probably always will be, but the writers totally, as Sookie puts it, fucked that relationship in the ass, could of been so much better than they made it... in season 4 she seemed completely in love with Eric then all the sudden after that its like she never loved him at all and always loved Bill...I seriously thought the series was gunna turn out so differently then it did when it came to the Eric/Sookie/Bill love triangle, that she was actually gunna give Eric a chance. I thought after season 4, she would love them more equally and have trouble figuring out which one she truly loved. I mean when she "made her choice" in the season 4 finale, that's what was happening. Say she couldn't imagine a world with both them not in it, saying how a part of her has always wanted Eric, and how it was the hardest decision she ever had to make, and pretty much choice none of them because lets get serious she didn't know which one to chose.But after season 4 it wasn't like that at all, the way I saw it, Sookie Clearly loved Bill and was never gunna love anyone the way she loved him. Which by the way still doesn't make sense to me, how can you love someone with that much intensity, (like we saw Sookie love Bill in season 7) and still stand there and look him and another man in the eye and say I love you both I don't know who to chose, just a couple years before, because the chose looked pretty clear to me when we got to season 7. I mean even Eric knew in 7x09, why do you think he was so upset when Bill said he wasn't taking the cure? Because he saw how upset and heart broken Sookie was. Or when he talked to Sookie about Bill, and then dropped her off that night, did you see how upset he was then? It's cause he knew that she didn't love him, she loved Bill. And that was his way of letting her go, by finally not standing in the way of her and Bill's relationship, but finally helping them figure things out. (And then because he was so upset, he went and fucked Ginger.. LOL one of the best scenes of the season) My point is, they just totally brushed off the whole build up and truly beautiful relationship Eric and Sookie had after season 4 like it was nothing and like she never loved Eric, only Bill.. Like she even said to Jason in season 7 at one point.. "I loved Alcide, and I guess I loved Eric in my own way.." and then went on to saying something about Bill and how there's "something about the first". This line really pissed me off because first of all, "I guess I loved Eric in my own way" wtf? no, you just full out loved him, and according to what I saw in season 4 you loved him as much as Bill, debatable even more.. and secondly, if she's implying she loved Alcide more than Eric, that's just complete BS because she was never in love with Alcide... But I know she was in love with Eric... So for her to say I love Bill, I love Alcide, I guess I loved Eric in my own way... is just unexceptionable to me. Any ways I'm getting off topic, the point is, all this shit I just vented about above, bugged the shit out of me, I was so upset about it, and to top it all off, a whole fricken season went by with out even an Eric and Sookie scene, it sucked, but after that happened, I was like fuck it, I'm over it, and when season 7 hit, it was all about Eric and Pam for me, and them getting the ending they deserved!
point is, ERIC AND PAM FOR LIFE, cause at the end of the day, there gunna be the ones that are together for eternity and no one else. And plus who could hate Pam's dialogue, she's perfect LOL
Sookie and Eric had more intensity than any other relationship Sookie had in the series. They made Sookie so obsessed with Bill just because he was her first love, but didn't make any sense. After she learned the truth about their meeting, she hated him for lying and questioned their time together. Even when she and Bill were happy, she still fancied Eric, yeah, she was a little bit intoxicated after drinking his blood when he tricked her, but even so, she always had something for him. I think the moment Godric dies, is the moment she realises that Eric isn't the bad guy, that he is more complex than her image of him. More so, she sees the good in him, and sees that Godric's death broke his heart. Sookie gradually developed feelings for him and season 4 was a recognition of that slow burn. Eric liked the idea of having a "human love experience", like the one he shared with Sylvie, in France, but at the end of the day, he didn't loved anyone as much as he Loved Pam. He adored her, was intrigued by her as a human and devoted to her as his progeny. They talked many times about how their relationship was romantic and prefered each other instead of associating wihr other vampires. Eric always chose Pam, even if he and Sookie would've survived season 4, she was his favorite, and his other half. I think that Eric and Sookie could've been great, but the writers just abandoned their story after season 4. Sookie and Alcide made sense as friends, no passion there, it was a waste of time to have them a couple. Maybe Sookie should ve stayed with Sam or Warlow in the end, it could've been a way better ending than returning to Bill like nothing happened. Once the actors begin a relationship off screen, the chemistry fades on screen. Sookie and Bill stayed together because the actors got married in real life, which is just wrong. The writers fucked up the show because of that. I think Eric and Sookie was way too short and had more to offer, they shared blood and there was passion and love there, if it wasn't meant to be forever. Bill never loved anyone as much as his late wife, and Sookie just forget about ever loving Eric, although she was smitten. She had so much chemistry with Eric...
EXACTLY. The buildup for eric and sookie started in season 1. She’s always been intrigued by him. Then when they got together in S4, she loved him! We all saw it. The love they shared was genuine, true, sincere and passionate. Then all of a sudden it got dropped like nothing happened! Like what?! Doesnt make any sense. How can u go from loving someone so intensely then going back to your ex who manipulated you. “There’s something about the first” statement was bullshit! Would u still go back to your ex who lied to you multiple times? Eew. Eric was the one who was honest to himself and to Sookie. They deserved better. Wish they had explored more their relationship.

Wow this was beautiful! Pam and Eric and their relationship are the only things about True Blood I can stand. I'm watching the last couple episodes and going back and watching all their scenes from the seasons I skipped. I am sitting on the edge of my seat now that something will happen to one or both of them. Amazing job. Great editing and wonderful song choice!

Omg so I've just rewatched the whole show (2020 excitement!) And I truly cant get over how much I love them together. I changed so much from my first watch! 18 year old me was such a flannel! This video is absolutely exquisite. I love it.
I love this video. I think you picked an amazing song and you really have a way with timing. The way you put the clips together, particularly in the middle, makes the video eerie and sad while also being so sweet and filled with longing.
