Your bike just sounds the same to me Nat,quieter if anything 🤔😀,quite agree about the Ulez ,recently bought a Euro 5 van and dont think many clients will be happy at me adding the extra on to the bill, which is ok because i cant stand driving in London anyway 👍
Most care home carers and home visit carers, drive small petrol vehicles that are very much ULEZ compliant. I would suggest moving away from the ULEZ zone for piece of mind, and an advantage to that is you could buy a new house with a larger garage for more RUclips content 😉 Whoop whoop
It's not the size of the car, it's the age, that's the ridiculous thing. It's £12.50 a day for an old 1 litre Nissan Micra or a 1991 Subaru Impreza and I know which one a care home worker is more likely to own.
There's a really major flaw in this plan of making people use public transport or cycling as an alternative. Public transport is unreliable, sometimes inconvenient (15 min walk to the bus stop for a 30 min bus ride to the station for example) and so expensive that in a lot of cases it's still cheaper to use a car/motorbike. As for cycling, I recently looked into getting a reasonably decent bike as there's no way I'll be able to have a motorcycle in London now and discovered that if you want anything that will last you longer than a year to commute on, you're looking at 1500 quid! If you want e assisted bikes, 5 grand upwards. People will say there are cheaper alternatives, but if I'm going to be forced to cycle 10 miles to a job every morning, including in the middle of bitterly cold winters (Did it for 7 years as a courier, it aint fun!) then I'm not going to want to do it on a cheap £150 Halfords special and if £1500 is the "entry level", then I may as well get a cheap 2nd hand motorbike, blag the emissions test like everyone else does and carry on barely polluting the air!
Don’t miss driving in and out of London done it four 13 years. Nice one Nat
Thanks mate.

The bike has definitely got a lower rumble. Hard to tell on a mic next to my mouth though!
Got a pair of black widows on my cbf - sounds the dogs even with baffles in, worth it!
I will probably do it myself at some point too mate.

I couldn't agree more mate. Chuck on top of that the rate of bicycle theft (especially e-bikes) and it just doesn't add up.

F-that, riding in London shite. Good job with the Vid though.
It's a challenge but I actually quite enjoys it. I prefer the open roads though!
