Message from Nemo (RUclips is blocming his comment so I'm posting it for him) Hey! Thanks for reviewing (Nemo's) team! Check out (his) channel if you want to see the full playthrough, and be sure to tune in for chapter 26 this week!
If you have any questions about the team feel free to ask (him).
By the way, some of the stranger skill inheritances were due to a lack of bond fragments late game, so (he) just inherited whatever (he) could lol. I appreciate the tips and constructive criticism!

Anna's passive isn't anywhere near as good as you suggest - it's overrated, not underrated.
The money she makes is back-loaded, with the majority coming at the end of the game when it's at its least useful.
Donation tiers are at their most valuable if you can get them early, since their effects accumulate per-chapter, and Anna is doing very little to help you actually unlock those early enough to matter.
Most of the more challenging chapters occur early in the game, before you start to be able to 1-turn maps with Micaiah Warp/Goddess Dance combos, and Anna is actively harmful to your ability to complete these chapters because it takes so long for her to catch up to other units.
Even without well abuse, you will have ample money for the vast majority of the game to be able to do what you need to do, especially if you're planning ahead with your forges and don't spend money on forges that don't matter (post-Brodia donation to maximize your ingots is the biggest time you're pinched for money, but Anna isn't doing anything at that point anyway).
With well abuse, Anna's passive super doesn't matter, since you get all the money you could want regardless.
You mention that you can easily make 40-80k. Let's consider 40k. This requires 80 procs of Anna's passive at 500 gold a pop. We see her Luck here at 34 raw and +12 from emblem & skill bonuses for 46 total. Her starting Luck is... 3... and she won't have access to those bonuses (either the inherit or the maxed emblem) for awhile. I'll generously estimate her average proc rate across the playthrough at 20%, which is lower than the midpoint between 3 and 46, but higher than the midpoint between 3 and 34. To make that 40k, she would need 400 kills, which is ridiculous. Even if you invest significantly into Anna, half that seems more reasonable, and even then calling it easy seems like a huge stretch. And investing into Anna to make just 20k wouldn't be impressive even if you got the money up front.
For reference, my top kill counts from my first playthrough (on Maddening), in which I played slowly, played all the DLC maps, and basically killed every last one of them on most maps, were 362 (Chloe), 226 (Alcryst), 221 (Citrinne), 194 (Panette), 180 (Alear), 157 (Ivy), 150 (Louis), 134 (Kagetsu), 133 (Zelkov), 103 (Yunaka), 91 (Jean), with no one else above 50 (and this representing my entire primary team, minus Seadall). I think Citrinne's position is about the best Anna could hope for (there's no way for her to get good enough fast enough to compete with Chloe's role), and if you're playing with any kind of speed in the late game, 100 is going to be lot more likely than 200, especially if you're not playing the DLC maps (which Nemo is not).
Obviously people can do whatever they want, but there's just no question that using Anna makes the game harder than not using Anna, and that she competes for worst unit in the game.

Anna is objectively better than Citrinne unless you are LTCing the game. She has better middle-late game and worst case scenario makes you 5-10k in a playthrough.
I tracked how much she made me on several runs averaging 20-60k depending on teamsize.
On Ringless no Somniel run she has made 10-20k consistently so your theorycrafting does not conform to reality.
On Fixed Mode she just out stats Citrinne.
You are assuming we are skipping endgame also which changes the numbers drastically, either way it is free gold that is useful.

comes down to preference of course, however personally I think 50 base magic growth go brrrr

on the other hand, Anna’s passive is not the best luck passive in the game, because Bunet exists 😎

@@IcedCoffeeGaming The Citrinne/Anna comparison isn't really the point. I think it's pretty clear that a unit that you can just use out of the box is better - this is pretty conventional wisdom at this point across a variety of FE games - and tier lists will generally reflect this even for players who aren't LTCing. The easiest path involves never using Anna, and using Citrinne for a bit and then benching her. But that wasn't what I was trying to get at in any case. Nothing I'm claiming about Anna's passive hinges on her being worse than Citrinne (or the rest of the cast). Rather, the fact that Anna's passive isn't actually good contributes to her being a bad unit.
I don't know how you're tracking what Anna made for you, but it seems like you'd either have to be playing a lot of tower content*, or going absolutely nuts feeding her kills, in order to make that kind of money. It's not like I pulled the numbers out of nowhere. Nor am I assuming skipping the late game, I specifically took a kill count list to illustrate *not* doing that.
Though I will reiterate that money is at its least impactful in the late game, so it's not a good look for Anna if she needs you to rack up kills there in order to have an impact.
Both this point, and the question of whether Anna or Citrinne are better units, get at the fundamental point that it's the journey that we need to evaluate, not the destination. If Anna is better than Citrinne by chapter (this number I will just make up) 22, that means she's spent a lot of time being worse. In fact, the entire notion of evaluating someone's endgame team runs the risk of focusing too much on the destination, though I understand for logistical reasons why it's easier to look at a snapshot rather than the entire arc. But it does overlook the contributions of a unit like Vander, who will obviously almost never be on anyone's endgame team.
And obviously, sure, free gold is better than not having free gold. But using Anna just isn't worth it to get that free gold, especially given the timing of most of that gold, and she'd be a better unit by replacing that passive with higher bases, or a more useful starting class (like Jean), or a skill that helps her contribute in combat. Even if I've overlooked something in my math, and your numbers are 100% accurate, I would say that using Anna isn't worth it.
It is nice that the game gives you some kind of reward for investing in a bad unit, though, and I can see why it would be fun to do that and then get to see the skill proc a lot later on.
*I would grant that Anna has more utility if you are doing a lot of tower content, but that's usually not the context people use for unit evaluation.

Honestly, the money is a side thing get a kill money or not, you get a kill, and honestly, Anna is probably not the best choice but can still work because the game is easy enough to ues anyone like you can make -bute her role is to has big mag and some money along the way

Not using the Wille Glanz or Alear engraving smh mh
Pretty solid builds, especially for a first run. Seems like they relied a bit more on Engage+. Tbh, there’s nothing wrong with that but I found myself using it less and less on consecutive playthroughs since the actual emblems had more useful utility most of the time. I’m surprised that some of these feel a little underlevelled for endgame.

Funny enough as I've played more and more I use Engage+ more because it is so much stronger than every other emblem.
