Am I the only one who thought this was fabulous! I thought she nailed the choreography and the emotion and facial expressions! I cannot believe she placed so low with this solo
I agree with you. Her bid eyes and crazy look made me think of Carrie right away. I could just picture JoJo as little carrie, locked away and going mad in that prayer closer.

I think that the piece was a little mature for her age. Carrie deals with a lot of dark topics a young kid can’t fully portray without more mental understanding. Not to say she didn’t do well, just my opinion.

As crazy as Abby is I have to agree with her; personally she didn't give me that chilling eerie persona that the Carrie character embodies. She did have good facial expressions, but I also feel like some of the other dancers in ALDC could have done a better job when they were 11.
Well Abby wanted her to watch the movie and she didn't which I think is totally reasonable. The movie is an R rated movie and Jojo is like 10 I think and when I was 10 that last thing I wanted to do was watch a movie like Carrie. Any horror movie scared the absolute shit out of me and till this day I still hate any horror movies so I can see why she didn't want to watch it. I agree with you though I think this solo should've gone to kalani or nia bc they are older and more mature and would've played the character better. I still think Jojo did great tho

Some of her moves made me cringe. I'm a dancer and i can tell when something is meant to be. She didn't finish alot if her steps. But it was still a cute dance and i still love jojo

@@sandramusic4574actually Carrie was ANGRY. She went from being happy to devastated, to Angry. Jojo didn’t show those emotions nor the transitions. She danced beautifully but Maddie would’ve killed this dance.

she did really good performance wise but the technique just wasnt there. She needs more height and flexibily and strsighter legs in the leaps and her arms were a mess in the some of the turns. I do love jojo its just that shes very cocky for a girl with a lot to imrpove on

This solo & fragile forest have been my favorite solos so far because they are both different & unique
Jojo is just a huge personality. She has yet to find where she stands as a dancer, artist, and entertainer. I admire her confidence but it can get over the top and sassy. But I love her and think she is adorable!
I really like Jojo on Abby's ultimate dance competition and when I first heard that she was coming to dance moms I was pretty excited to see her join the cast but as I'll been watching her with all her solos I'm just not feeling it her technique i is not there her toes and legs Are not straight but she has potential to be really good it I'm not a hater I still love Jojo hopefully she can thrive and get better if she continues to stay on the ALDC

When I saw this during the show I didn't like it...now that I've seen the whole thing. It makes more sense with the music, costume, and everything together

Just look at 1:25 it was supposed to look like she was throwing something but it wasn't aggressive at all. it just looked like she put her hand up. her face should've been angry there.

I cant rly understand why abby said jojo had the “same face” throughout the whole entire dance and she needed more expression.i mean yes,but she didnt have to yell at her for it.she may have not been as afraid as she should have been,but in her head,she was possessed,and i could sense that.also that ending!!

This choreo was something soecial I really liked the leaps and pauses it made it a really dynamic price and I think Jojo tried her best although it didn’t quite have the best character work she performed beautifully

To be honest, I thought Jojo did pretty well on this piece! Yes her facial expressions weren’t that on the top and her pointing feet weren’t good but hey! It was pretty good! And she was impersonating a teenager in a dark movie “Carrie” I felt like if it showed like Jojo using telekinesis to actually know that “oh this movie is Carrie” cause Carrie was bullied as a werido but at the end you know never to mess with a prom queen cause they can go pretty mad and use their psychic powers!

Again every single dance there is a whistle at the end every dance if you do not believe me go to the end of every solo or group dance and in the applause there is the that darn whistle!!!!!!!!!!,
This was a great dance and she did amazing. I just hate that Abby treated her like this when she didn't watch the movie. Like really? SHE IS A CHILD!! She has no business watching a scary movie. She even told Abby she didn't want to be scared watching it. Just when I thought Abby can't get any meaner, this happens.
literally could’ve had the lights on and watch it with her mom💀 it was for a dance and it’s just a movie it’s not like she made her go to some really scary haunted house or something instead she gave an assignment that she could’ve stopped at any moment cuz she could’ve just turned it off if it was too bad, also pretty sure she didn’t even watch it anyway

I really felt jojo siwa as she dance with those expressions in her solo it was a good impression to the judges and audience yet abby lee criticizes her for not putting enough expressions yet she done her best i felt sorry for those girls who had been pressured and abuse for perfection
I hate people who need to critize everything. Are you a professional dancer or professional judge? No. Jojo did amazing even though I don't like her that much. Don't bash on a eleven twelve year old.
You don't have to be a professional judge to tell one of her legs was higher than the other in the leap and her feet aren't pointed about half the time

I’m all for creepy dances but this one didn’t move me as much as something like the scream did

I would have loved to see Maddie do this solo. I think that Jojo's technique and facials weren't all that great during this performance, and she could have done so much better. She didn't give me the chilling experience that the movie Carrie did.

Yes, this solo was based off of the movie Carrie, it resembles the light pink dress Carrie was wearing as well as her becoming prom queen, the outfit is a reference to when Carrie wins prom queen and the gets pig blood dumped all over her

I thought the concept was perfect for Jojo, but she should've watched the movie. I watched that movie way before 11, she would've been fine. She had the crazy eyes, but she didn't have the aggression that Carrie had after that blood fell on her.
