How do you decide which scriptures to do? Do you have a study you follow along. Do you just open anywhere, do you have a topic, did you just start from Genesis and go chapter by chapter all the way through? I find this extremely helpful I just never know where to start. Personally, I like reading a chapter or 2 of the Old Testament, starting in Genesis. Then, a chapter in the New Testament starting with Matthew. I feel like the OT teaches me more about God & the NT teaches me more about Jesus and at the same time more about God again. Also, to mix it up, I’ll watch sermons on RUclips about what I read & that helps clear up or have a better understanding on how I can apply what I just read to my life. 🙏🏻✝️☕️

My New Years revolution is to read the Bible everyday. As I annotate I don’t always find a lot of stuff for each color. Yesterday I only found one prayer and live it out in Genesis 1-3. Do you think I’m missing anything or are their any tips you could give me on how to find more. Or is it just going to be like that sometimes?
I have the same “problem “ sometimes too, it’s completely ok! The deeper you get, the deeper you get. That just means that the more you read, the more it will make sense. Say you read Psalm 18:2 where it says the Lord is my rock. Thats cool, but keep reading and end-up in Matthew 7:24-27 where Jesus says the wise man builds his house on a rock, while the fool builds his on sand, that is AWESOME!! God is our rock, He should be the foundation of our life!! I hope that helped, if you have a question reply back 😂 I’ll try my best to answer, though Ashley would probably answer better lol! Btw I use the King James Version (KJV)

Thank you so much for this. I really needed a way to study that was not so completed and all time consuming. This method is similar to SOAP, just the basics. I love this. Thank you for keeping Bible study uncluttered and more encouraging to study. I am not looking to get my pHD in theology LOL. I just wanted to learn God's word and his ways and about his character. Too many books, bibles, stuff, reference materials, supplies, just makes me anxious. I want to rest in God's peace and his teachings, not get bogged down in bible academics. Just to have peace studying his word and to apply it in my life.:) Thanks again for all your work and videos. You are a blessing. Your mom must be so proud of both of you :) Wish I had daughters like you guys. God knows best in all areas of life. :)

I love the Bible and reading it but there is so much that I feel people forget like the parts that say girls can't pray without covering there heads and that if you are from a unholy marriage aka shotgun wedding you can't set foot in God's template and or you next ten generations Just a thought Edit my apologies it is not that they can't pray it that there head is unholy if they pray with uncovered heads
