Steve was very kind to his fans. It's difficult for me to imagine desiring that kind of attention. If there were 10 women I had never met waiting to meet and hug me I would be totally overwhelmed by that energy. You have to have a very strong presence to be able to tolerate that kind of adulation. I have a great deal of respect for people who live in the public eye, but I would never desire to be in their place. Way to go, Steve! I'm watching your vids but don't worry I don't need to hug you. ;)

I am a huge Journey fan, and I just got the new CD with Arnel and I think he does a great job too, and he also sounds EXACTLY like Perry, but in my opinion it was the wrong thing for Journey to dump Steve Perry after the Trial By Fire cd. Steve Perry is a God, creates true music and makes it magic, with the sound of his voice!
