I really love your videos, they are really informative. To be very honest, i think you are one of the NICEIEST dudes around. You are very generous to share the basics and tutorials. I hope to meet you in person. You are very nice.
I use train this shot....i put the white ball in the corner pocket, and the Objekt ball in the middle of the table and draw back...sometimes i really struggle ...now i know why 😉👍 ! Thanks
Kudos for shouting out Larry. I was on his team for an event before he passed and became friends. We got second and he played from the chair. I’ll never forget it. He certainly was an amazing elevated player. Thanks for the tips Niels
@@NielsTheTerminatorFeijen absolutely! Growing up I was amazed and wanted to learn those shots. Then I realized he was the only one doing them haha! Will you be at International Open?
Great video, excellent tips, good job Niels. you're one of my favorite pro player not just of your game performance but your professional behavior and respect for opponents. Never change. Greetings from TEXAS U.S.A.
Finally got around to watching this. I have struggled mightily when shooting jacked up. I almost ALWAYS miss these shots CB right in spite of how many times and how carefully I aim, align, and stroke. Your tip about using the LEFT foot (right-handed player) to align on the shot line is PURE GOLD! I just tried four table-length shots with the CB 1/2" from the short rail, OB about middle of the table, slight angle or medium angle. I made three of them and rattled one. Of course it's a really small sample set, but I know that trying this my "old" way would have missed wildly based on past performance. I know with some time working at the table using your tip I will be much more accurate. I also tried jacking up over an obstacle OB. Same thing: the balls went in. HUGE WIN for my game. Thanks so much for the tips!!!!!!!!! (Small donation sent.)
Crazy to see how much my game has improved from when i watched some of your earlier videos to now. Played my second game earlier on my 9 foot table and ran out on a very difficult table to run out on. Thanks for all the videos Niels!🙏🎱🙏
Thanks Niels! This is going to help a lot. I'm in a tournament as I write this, and I will keep these tips in mind. Especially the stance change. Thank you!
Sir, your presentation is magnificent. Would you be willing to share "what's in your bag" type of explanation of what equipment you use for your podcasting. I think it is very clear and understandable to the average watcher. Thank you sir!
HAHA! thank you Niels this was effective! , i used it earlier against my friend lol 🤣 sadly I don't have a pool table at my house so whenever I watch your videos, i can only try to do those when I'm playing with my buddy in a match lol. we also rented the table for $1.72 per hr here in Philippines so no time for drills nor warmups so, yeah, i can only try to do those in a direct match. thank you Niels.
Awesome stuff my friend!!! Love it! Typically, when I find myself in this position, I find another way to play it; torn rotor cuffs really limits me. I accept it and go on; if I can't make it work, then find a suitable safe place. Still enjoy it all!!! Be Safe
Really enjoy your videos… thank you for them. Did you intentionally leave out the part that you never put any left or right spin on the cue ball or you will unintentionally masse the ball? Very surprised that you didn’t mention that. Unless I missed it.
Ah interesting observation! It makes it much harder indeed unless you play soft and less elevation. Then a little spin can still work. High elevation makes it almost unplayable
Just did it. My last shot I wanted to whip it back so badly lol Thanks for the great content and for targeting the Top Amateurs, Semi-Professional and Short Stop pool players like myself. I was routing for you on the side lines at this years 2022 US Open when you lost against Ko Pin Chung. Terrible rules as it pertains to the player break situation
Thanks, Niels for uploading very informative pool lessons. I have a question...can we use "jacking up" method when the cue ball is very close or touching the rail...if not is there a way to bring the ball back ? If yes...are able show please?
Niels... I referred to your video equipment in an earlier post. What webcam do you use, microphone, lighting, etc... I love the look of the video and want to use some of your thoughts on the equipment... Thanks in advance!
I like your videos a lot, thanks for that! I have an 9ft Rasson table and my pokets are very small. The corner pokets are 10,5 cm on the widest point. That makes the training a lot harder and frustrating. I am not a very good player and now my question, do you think it’s possible to change the pokets or i have to live with that?
Hi Niels, I've been told it helps when you choke up on the back end of the cue. What are your thoughts on this as it doesn't appear this is something that you need to do. Thanks in advance.
HOLY CRAP Niels. I didn't know Larry died until you said. Man, that is so sad. And literally, when you said 'best jacked up player' I knew who you meant. I saw him (the first time) at a Sands Reno I think ... table length drawing balls with the CB ON THE RAIL. Are there any other things you do to improve your jacked up shots..? I'm okay. I break and run pretty regularly when I'm playing ... but I really struggle with jacked up shots. I assumed I had a head alignment issue ... or an optical problem, but then, I'm not spinning the ball inadvertently ... I just suck at shooting jacked up. And I've even shot it 10-20x and it's still really below my skill level I think. I've tried looking at the CB last also (but I feel like that'd be an unreliable long term solution). Anyway ... maybe think through what you originally had to do when you were first dealing with jacked up shot consistency..? Thanks.
do you use this foot placement when jumping? it seems to be a logical approach, but i have never heard of this foot placement by any other pro... so thank you for pointing this out... Vince
Great video, i struggle alot with elevated shots. Whether short or long, i will work on the stance. But, do you work on anything specific with your stroke with these shots?
Hi Joe! 😃 I have a great video about stance from my series "Back to The Basics". I think it will help you a lot, feel free to check it out right here: ruclips.net/video/OXDnmOOC1dg/видео.html ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=niels+the+terminator+feijen+back+to+the+basics
because i watch your video play our filipino rotation and you telling story about efren you both playing money game haha.. big support to your channel..
Hi Niels: for some reason, around 80% of your videos are suffering from weird arbitrary auto-translation of the the title and the video description. In my case, since my settings are set to German, many titles and description on your videos are auto-translated into weird sounding German, super confusing, definitely inhibiting the user experience. It seems to happen with most of the "common" languages: German, French, Spanisch, Japanese, .... - but other "less common" languages don't suffer from that: like Dutch or Czech, no weird auto-translation there. I can't seem to turn the auto-translation off - I can only change my language setting to one, where your videos don't suffer from it. I'm not sure if it is something on your side (since I notice this issue the most with your channel out of all of my subscriptions), or YT f*cked up here or I'm missing something and it's on my side.... just wanted to let you know.
I also find that focusing on the cueball, so you do not have to strain to look at the object ball. plus all you can do anyway is hit the cueball where you want to anyway.
Thanks for watching!

Hi Neils, thank you for this video. Do you use the left foot lead stance in your jump shots as well? Thanks
love your tribute to other players, who made different kind of shots in its best
Thanks Rabi!! He was truly amazing, most powerfull break ever!!💪💥
Keep it up champ, you’re an inspiration to all players young and old!
That's great to hear!! Appreciate it a lot, thanks. Please share and help my channel grow
Very helpful with the lead foot on the shot line to get the body aligned correctly. Also, love the background music 👏
Good to hear!! Thank you Max ;) 😎🔥
Niels, great content as always! Your tips always work because you explain exceptionally well.
Appreciate it, thank you Sir!! 👌😃

Simply the best with those power jacked up shots!!! He did crazy stuff even with the cueball frozen on the rail... 🔥🔥
@@NielsTheTerminatorFeijen absolutely! Growing up I was amazed and wanted to learn those shots. Then I realized he was the only one doing them haha! Will you be at International Open?
Larry "The Truth" Nevel. Why do they call him that? Because you can't handle the truth!
Was just thinking today how I often miss these kind of shots. Perfect timing!
That's great timing!! Enjoy the workout and thanks a lot for your continued support Buster Buster 🔥😊
Very well explained and fantastic
Thanks a lot for the nice feedback! Great to read your comment 👌😃

Hi ZU!! Thanks for watching. Please feel free to share in your pool community and help my channel grow 👍😃💪
Thanks niels for informative
Your support is greatly appreciated!!
Would that altered stance also help with shooting over a ball?
Yes absolutely! If you need a lot of elevation it works the same 😄👍🏼🔥
Nothing easy about this shots. Thanks Niels!
Never thought to lead with my left foot lol! Great info as always 😉
You are welcome Ed! 😀👍

Thank you Neils.

Great info, as always. I struggle with shots on the rail so this is something I’m definitely going to try. Keep up the great work, champ!

I saw Robb Saez draw back the length of the table when the cue ball was on the rail in a match one time. It was a 7ft. Table but it was impressive.
hi niels are you looking at the cueball or the object ball on the final stroke
Stickland as well is a hell of a shooter with qb frozen to the rail and draw back whole table length 👍
True!! Thanks for watching Hans 👍😀
Awesome, have been longing for this video! 😊 Any other tips with the hand position for instance?
Thanks idol more winning 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for watching!! Appreciate the support and feedback 👌😎

Nice shout out Niels and you're 💯 correct.. Larry Nevel had one of the most powerful strokes ever! 💪 He was a younger version of Wade Crane.. #RIP

great tip
Wow, I’m playing for over 30 years and still struggling with those shots. I will try your stance. Thanks
You can do it! Thanks for watching, appreciate it 💪

Spin that shizz DJ! Thanks !
😆💥🎵
Hallo Niels, to execute this drawshot do you use only the elbow or do you use also the upper arm like in a normal power drawshot? Many thanks.
Is it possible to draw if cue ball is frozen?
Possible but extremely difficult 😄💪🏼
Great video, i struggle alot with elevated shots. Whether short or long, i will work on the stance. But, do you work on anything specific with your stroke with these shots?
Hi Joe! 😃
I have a great video about stance from my series "Back to The Basics". I think it will help you a lot, feel free to check it out right here:

My biggest lessons from such shots are:
- focus on the cb only
- watch out for the scoops ;)
Also RIP Larry. Wish there was single payer health care in the US.
🙏🙏
who is favorite or idol in pool?
Efren when it comes to finesse and all-around game.
Larry Nevel when it comes to these very tough jacked up shots ⚡💥

nice with video but 3:30 mins b4 you get to the title its a bit long.
Part of the package I guess.. ;) Thanks for watching Sir!! 😀👍
These kind of shots are really bennificial for tall players like you and will be dissadvantagious to players like Alex Pagulayan.
But a shot we all need to master... 👊 👊 😃
First step. Be over 6 feet tall.
I also find that focusing on the cueball, so you do not have to strain to look at the object ball. plus all you can do anyway is hit the cueball where you want to anyway.
