Another great product from UF PRO. I'm excited to see the knife pocket has been moved and improved with security flap. I've dropped my knife and flashlight multiple times in my Striker HT, so I simply stopped carrying in that pocket.
Amazing pants, thank you for trying new things and improving. The biggest concern I have with these pants is the durability of the Velcro belt. After long time use and wash, the Velcro hook and loop fastener will wear and tear and lose its strength.
And as the Velcro belt is not removable as such it can’t be replaced if damaged or old, If the Velcro belt was an option instead of a must, maybe thru a passthrough or a zipper attachment on the back it would be a none issue but at this moment it’s a point of contention. What is the Durability of the "3d mesh pad" on the back, if you wash the pants with the pad on the inside?
I "only" got a p-40 shorts gen. 2 featuring the new belt and 3d pad, but after one year velcro and pad are still going strong. Though I had (and still have) the same concern about the velcro.Personally, I hate velcro for the reason of durability, because obviously it will wear at some point and not hold well anymore. About the pad I have no doubts of it not holding up to the test of time though. It simply works and does not get flattened or anything. To be fair, there is not much pressure laying on it causing it to de-form, so that should be good. Would be a whole different story with say shoulder padding or something.
Just got my pants and I must say that these are the most comfortable combat pants I have ever wore by a long shot! I absolutely love the hook and button fastener for the top of the pants along with the belt. Construction is A+. I had high expectations and these pants went above that 👍

Somehow I must have not seen the notification for this pants D: But damn, they look sooo promising! Defo on my "soon-to-get" list :P They literally have everything I wish for in a pants. The "worst" part being velcro used (as it will wear at some point), but there is no good alternative for that, soooo yeah not much to complain about :D Thanks @UFPro for listening to the community/user feedback, we love you guys :D Keep making amazing clothing! Finally received mine a little while ago, bought 2 and absolutely love them. The build quality and innovation that went into this product is fantastic, and I love the brown grey aka ranger green colour. I had no problem adjusting to the double front zipper. As far as I'm concerned the thing with the 'family maker' is a non-issue. It just takes some practice. Your gear is so addictive, I most definitely want 2 HT's as well as soon as they come online in W38/L32. I am by no means done shopping at UF Pro yet and just getting started after having bought multiple combat shirts, different coats, knee pads, windstopper etc. You are amazing!

Silly. I was speaking about Pants - to be more exact about all their Combat Pants with this kind of knee protection system - it’s important that that part stays in the right position.

I have noticed the comments about the durability of the back pad and the inner belt velcro over extended time and launderings. I can say with a certainty, that i have had ZERO issues with any durability of ANYTHING on my pants, that have years of daily wear in andnout of the field(US ARMY 3/75) I currently am using the ULT(hot weather pant, its summer as i write this)that has the same waist system, and its the most comfortable combat pant ive ever had. Ive been issued, crye g3,g4s, patagonias combat pant, the arcteryx combat pants, the beyond clothing combat pants...ive ised them all and The UFPRO pants are so nice and so much better ive paid out of pocket, almost 1k of my own money because they are the best pants on the market. Also their rain gear and jackets are VERY nice as well, great construction and design for functionality. Armin is the best designer for tactical/combat clothing in the industry imo. His material choices and design functions are spot on. I will be purchasing 3 pairs of these gen 3s for work, 1 brown grey and 2 in multicam when they come out(hopefully they come out in MC) to couple with my wind stopper liners. Awesome design again from armin and the team at UFPRO. UFpro any ideas on releasing these in standard multicam? PLEASE do as my entire squad wants a pair/s for work.
So there will be no new XT gen 2 pants available? I really like the new belt system on my shorts but I really don‘t like to have 3 belts on top if I‘m on the range. That‘s why I really don‘t want to go with the new Gen3‘s. I also can‘t put the stuff of my belt on the pants itself cause there‘s no place for the tq on the right front cause of the buckle system. I really hope there will be enough people with the same problems. And there will be a restock of the gen 2s kind of.
Amasing pants. From time when I first time use Uf Pro I say its best what you posibal get in Europe. Last 6years I use only UFPro After 18 years profesional military and Privet military I know what I say :-) Thanks UFPRO you are the best.
Wish there was reinforcement in the ass area. Stretch is great, but rough terrain, mountains and rocks takes its toll on the back area fabrics. It would also be a great addition with a Kevlar patch on the lower leg area for when sliding over steel cable as an example. And last would be great with a version made for maritime environment with small drainage openings in the bottom part of the pockets, without using metal eyelets but by triangle cutouts.
I work as a Ramp agent at an airport I wish you guys made work wear like this I'm really tempted to buy a pair super expensive but I feel like it's worth the investment
Your persistent cough reminds me of other people I know who coughed in the same manner you do. One found out they had leukemia, another had a cyst on their thyroid gland that required surgery. Perhaps you have a cold, allergies etc. But, it might be a good idea to get your blood test by your doctor. By the way! I love the clothes you make. The clothes not only look good they appear very functiona too. Unfortunately I will never be able to afford any of these cool gear. But it won't stop me from checking out your new clothing line.

Thanks for the question! The front and back parts are made out of different materials and there might be some differences in the shades of the materials. That is mostly noticed when the light changes. Unfortunately, that is something we can not control. When displaying the available colors, we try to show them as realistically as possible on the website, but the shade of color in other videos may vary slightly depending on the natural environment and light 😎🤙

Easily the most comfortable pants I have ever owned. I was pretty happy with my Leo Köhler Einsatzkampfhose but they are in no way comparable to the Striker Gen3. Absolutely worth the money and already replacing my pants with UF PRO
On your Website U write the pants has 17 Pockets but i count and count and count and i can find only 14 so please can U tell me the exact Pocket count and Places
There should be armor inserts for these pants... Polyethylene armor is light enough to use. Because the groin area and the thighs are just too vital to not have any sort of protection. Even have some sort of lower body passive exoskeleton to assist the extra weight from the armor inserts.
Our new generation of Striker XT Gen. 3 pants are available in the same colour and pattern options as Striker XT Gen. 2 combat pants, where Coyote or Kangaroo was also not available.
Great product, I just wonder if, in the future, this pair of pants could be available in Multicam and/or Multicam Black ; like the Striker ULT and Striker HT or the P-40 Gen.2, it would be fire and add even more uses to a practical level. And also for the Striker XT Gen.3 Combat Shirt, it would be nice to again have those Multicam variations like for the Striker XT Gen.2 Combat Shirt, but I know it can be hard to work with that : the right compatible material to have those camo patterns without wearing down the quality and the use of the product and the label that Crye Precision have on the Multicam pattern and its variants. But if your company managed in the past to have the whole Striker XT Gen.2 BDU range with Multicam options, then you could probably do it again and it would be very very good practically and at a certain "fashion level" ;)

Anyone know if the kneepads are lower (on the lowest setting) than Gen.2, and can be lifted up? Asking since Gen.2 is unfitted to anyone with long legs, as knee pads are above the knee for most part, leaving just the lowest 2 cm or so over the knee. Would need to order a pair online, so would like to know how it is.

@@ligitmuffin He briefly mentioned that there are a lot complaints about the zipper and that it’s too short. And the double zipper doesn’t fix the problem. Yes, it goes 1cm lower than a normal zipper, but it is not enough and you loose the 1cm at the top. It results that when you go to the toilet, you open the zipper, then you struggle to push your whole pants down to make it work and then struggle as the opening is too small to do your business comfortably. And now telling me that when it needs to go quickly, you must additionally not forget to unlock the belt closure…. Sorry, it’s getting more a pain. They are for sure great pants but it seems to me that this won’t get fixed due to ‚design‘ issues. People complain about it but they won’t really fix the cause due to some strange issues. Issues that for some reasons all the other manufacturers don’t have.
@@ligitmuffin Oh… and the pants are in a price range where I definitely won’t accept such a struggle several times a day (no matter how ‚well‘ they fit and how ‚well‘ they were developed)
@@lthrboot68 I really don‘t get why they would go with the new belt system. The HT Pants with the front pockets worked very well. They changed a running system. And cause of the buckle you cant really run a double belt system very well.
I have absolutely no doubt it's good product and nothing personal but I'm not paying that much for a pair of pants. I'm not going to mention the product names but $35.00 I can get about the same thing..I'm not going to claim there as well made but my experience in multi day operations is that nothing survives it very well,used government stuff used high end out sourced stuff it all ends up in the trash. I'm really not too sure of what Market you're pushing these four but I can tell you you're in the United States we can't really afford them kind of prices for pants,were struggling to just afford ammo as it is. You would probably be better off at least in the US market with something of quality but with a way cheaper price.
The amount of engineering going into UF Pro clothes is just insane! Best gear you can buy.

I have the gen 2 multicam version, but find it a bit too wide in the cut in general. Other than that, great pants.

About 2 years ago, I was admiring your RUclips video for the Ace Winter Combat Shirt, and after desperately looking for a place to buy it, I received it through the ship after 2 months, and recently I also purchased the Striker x Combat Shirt.

If this had knee bungees for tightening like strike ult it would be the best pants ever! Sadly it doesnt but still great product

Is this no-drip if it burns
Have the Striker HT with the shown double zipper and I am not really thrilled about it. So it’s a pass from me until it’s really fixed.
What about it do you not like?
@@ligitmuffin He briefly mentioned that there are a lot complaints about the zipper and that it’s too short. And the double zipper doesn’t fix the problem. Yes, it goes 1cm lower than a normal zipper, but it is not enough and you loose the 1cm at the top.
It results that when you go to the toilet, you open the zipper, then you struggle to push your whole pants down to make it work and then struggle as the opening is too small to do your business comfortably.
And now telling me that when it needs to go quickly, you must additionally not forget to unlock the belt closure…. Sorry, it’s getting more a pain.
They are for sure great pants but it seems to me that this won’t get fixed due to ‚design‘ issues. People complain about it but they won’t really fix the cause due to some strange issues. Issues that for some reasons all the other manufacturers don’t have.
@@ligitmuffin Oh… and the pants are in a price range where I definitely won’t accept such a struggle several times a day (no matter how ‚well‘ they fit and how ‚well‘ they were developed)
@@lthrboot68 I really don‘t get why they would go with the new belt system. The HT Pants with the front pockets worked very well. They changed a running system. And cause of the buckle you cant really run a double belt system very well.

I have absolutely no doubt it's good product and nothing personal but I'm not paying that much for a pair of pants.
I'm not going to mention the product names but $35.00 I can get about the same thing..I'm not going to claim there as well made but my experience in multi day operations is that nothing survives it very well,used government stuff used high end out sourced stuff it all ends up in the trash.
I'm really not too sure of what Market you're pushing these four but I can tell you you're in the United States we can't really afford them kind of prices for pants,were struggling to just afford ammo as it is.
You would probably be better off at least in the US market with something of quality but with a way cheaper price.
