Thank you for this video! Managed to change the sparkplugs on my golf TSI 1,0 thanks to this :) Just wondering what The cabel above the coilpacks is for? I might have boken it in one end, do you know what it is called?
You need to put a small amount of silicon grease on the o ring at the bottom of the coil pack (VW workshop manual recommends) and there is a tool for removing the coil packs without damaging them.
Boy I trying to do this, but simply can’t find the right spark plug socket to use. The one I have looked at my local Halfords and auto parts dealer, aren’t long enough for these long neck spark plugs. Could you tell me which one you’re using and where you might of bought it.
What's the name for the tool you use to loosen the screws..? Can you change the bits on the end of it? Cheers
