He must be a good Hurley maker. I live in County Antrim and I'd have to travel to Loughgiel in Ballymena which is quite far from Glengormley which is where I live in Northern Ireland and the Hurley makers are called Scullion hurls.

most of the time its the toe of the hurley that goes flyin into a lads eye...does it stop that or just a straight snap?

Clash of the Ash is spectacular but can take your eye out, as a Kilkenny man, I have seen plenty clashes and pitches littered with debris. Not good. Flan has solved this problem.
