it's more of a Battlefield game than it not being a Battlefield game tho. Although most of the weapons and gameplay were already in previous games (just like how BF4 was with BF3 but nobody was quite as mad about that) they expanded upon smaller but more complex map design, gunplay/netcode, and the amazing new gamemodes: Rescue, hotwire, heist, and blood money. I don't remember fully but I probably put 500 hours into BFH but not even 1 hour was spent in conquest because it was just not worth playing compared to the other modes. Bro 1942 is what started it all, shit is not just "alright"
I mean only because a game started something doesn't mean it's the best. Games like Assassins Creed, Warcraft, Diablo, Fallout show that quite well as all of them only because actual classics in their sequels (AC 2, Warcraft 3, Diablo 2, Fallout 2).
I mean its not a bad game but at the time FPS games where super oversaturated

hardline was fantastic. put me on the hardest power trip. Felt like the no russian mission in MW3 as an entire campaign
That was MW2
played hardline recently and its the only battlefield i played so far and i enjoyed it very much
2142 needs to be remade. Titan mode would be a lot of fun
i actually loved bf5. all my friends played it at launch and uninstalled but i stuck through for all the years and they refused to try it again. when 2042 came out, they all were disappointed and then tried out bf5 again. they loved it. its such a good game imo
This is what I’ve been saying. Battle field games are never good at launch which kinda sucks, but you if give it a year or 2 they are a lot of fun
Yeah bf5 is probably the best ww2 shooter I’ve ever played lol
Launch tho did suck balls lol but apart from that it’s a easy 9/10 in my book
Agreed
I don't get people shitting on it gameplay wise it's the smoothest and most balanced
I agree with this, play it very often still.
Someone giving credit to my boy 2142
Loved it!
The best.
I played 2142 as a 10 year old using his dad's computer and it gave me so many core memories
Feeling emotional watching this again after so many years
Bf 4 is just a perfect experience. I still play it till date.
Still playing BF4 to this day.
Battlefield 1 is by far my favorite one
It had a resurgence of players over half a year ago and it was beautiful playing the game with a whole different player base in 2023 and the game still played and felt immersive just like I remembered my favourite for sure
Did you play Bad Company ?!

Battlefield 1's atmosphere cannot be beat. Just the way the maps looked, the screams enemies made when I bayonetted them. Absolutely immersive and intense.
Does it have a single player mode, i mean can it be played offline?

BF1 did not get enough appreciation during its height. Still play it today because it’s amazing.
On what system? I can never find games on PS 😢
@@FeedmRice PS4? I play in ps5 and still find matches
because it was "the biggest piece of dogshit" at launch. the spawns, the weapon balance, the vehicle infantry balance, just awful. dont get me wrong it turned into a beautiful butterfly, but woo boy it was a mess. now, BFV? definitely underrated even today
I mean it did, game was insanely popular at launch (especially since the big COD game at the time was Infinite Snorefare). What kinda killed the momentum was the massive delay of DLC, but even then it’s still popular even today.
Its a console game made for children... its just a repackage bf3 made with a theme.
Battle field 3, 4 and 1 Will always will in my heart ❤ Hand down the best game in FPS history. Especially Battle Field 3 is something I won't forget in my life 😢
Man Battlefield 2 on my PS2 was really fun
Battlefield 2 bad company was a nostalgic masterpiece
Did you really put 2042 on the same level as Hardline?
2042 its better now, i think that he don’t play nowadays
@@DougFunnyOoOeven so it still a terrible of all of the series, yes 2042 is fun now but I still doesn't like it, the destruction still terrible and in some map that not even working to breaking throughs the defend, and it became a nightmare , and worse of all is specialist I still don't like them but I have to pick them because they doesn't have unknown Soldier skin "that shjt is for AI only"
I have an ungodly amount of time invested into BF4. If it was college I’d be near a million in debt with at least two doctorates, several masters, and a dozen bachelors.
BF3 back then was something else man. Haven't had that much fun ona shooter since then
BF1 and BF3 = goated
Bf3 is the goat
Let’s be honest, hardline was a good game. The campaign was amazing compared to bf4 and the multiplayer was fun. It should’ve just been called hardline instead of slapping “battlefield” onto the title. That’s the only thing wrong with it imo
it's more of a Battlefield game than it not being a Battlefield game tho. Vehicles were drastically rebalanced for a more infantry friendly gameplay although the mounted weapons on vehicles felt really weird which is strange considering how well they did with your soldier's guns
@@michaelvigil5321 yes, mechanically it’s battlefield, but that’s not what I’m referring to. What I’m referring to is the setting. If polyphony digital made a street racing game with an actual story, then it just wouldn’t be and shouldn’t be called gran turismo no matter how good it is because gran turismo isn’t a street racing series. Similarly, battlefield isn’t a cops vs robbers series and despite how good hardline was, being called “battlefield” hurt it quite badly.
