The M26 obviously isn't bad, but it does feel bad when at the same BR you can play M26 but better(E5), or M26 but arguably better(E1). And then of course just .3 higher you have the M46 which packs HEAT and an enormously better engine. US is simply spoiled for choice at the BR.
I'm sorry but i just do not see any of the hype around the base m26. Pretty much everything at it's br outclasses it. Imo, it's in the same place as the leopard 2a5, where it isn't a terrible tank, but there just isn't any reason to play it bc there are significantly more capable vehicles at its own br. Everything about the pershing except the reverse speed and turret traverse are just pretty mid, and the turret traverse and the reverse speed are only a bit better than most other things. I will admit that fighting tigers and t34 85s it can be a bully, but what 6.7 vehicle isn't in a down tier? I wish that br got some decompression so it could be in a more balanced place
Its a jack of all trades, master of none. It's strengths come in its flexibility not it's raw statistics. Has good gun dep and turret rotation speed meaning you can always engage the enemy. The reverse is good so you can retreat fast enough to not get hit. It's apcr round lets u deal with heavily armoured targets from the front. And it has just enough armour to be able to side scrape or shrug survive most CAS cannon fire.
Says you'll lose going head on with King Tiger and IS-2. Forgets that the 90mm can pen the gunner optic rather easily and can pen the lower front of the IS-2 just as well 🤷♂
I learned good positioning and using good headphones so u can listen for enemy engines helps alot when ut stationary holding a position down. Made a huge difference when I started using headphones with atmos.i play with mouse and keyboard on xbox so I can't install any sound mods. 16:15 this map I have a hard time with
1:50 i strongly disagree, these two situations are not the same, as Tiger II (P) while having a worse frontal turret armor, it can still bounce if angled correctly, plus its a volumetric nightmare at times, at the same time Tiger II (H) turret is also pretty much paper, so both tanks besides having a different turret are similarily strong

Not comparable to the Leo2A5. The 2A5 still outclasses most other 12.0 tanks whereas the M26 doesn't outclass any 6.7.
