    the car looks nice. the ride quality will be first class as per the legendary Citroen suspension….but the omission of AT in India when the market is clearly moving in that direction, is a surprising thing….

    • @shankarbalan3813
      @shankarbalan3813 2 года назад

      I’ve test driven it and indeed the ride quality is first class. The gears are pretty slick too. Most definitely the turbo charged version has the required oomph vis a via the plain version, which does struggle a bit. But this is a very good option for a city commuter car.

    Looks like a decent car if priced right. Citroen needs to be aggressive here.

    Things I like about the car
    1. Looks Fabulous and stunning, simply eyecatcher
    2. Offers Turbo charged engine, most powerful in its class
    3. 6 speed MT
    4. Spacious Interior
    5. Upmarket Cabin and Dashboard
    6. 10" Touchscreen Info.
    7. Built-Quality/Ride-quaity
    Things I found it lack with the rivals
    1. Powered ORVM
    2. Rear wash wipe/ Defogger
    3. Unorthodox position of P/w switches
    4. 15'' alloys on top spec and it is optional
    5. LED Headlamps
    6. Rear A/c vents
    7. 60:40 split seat with arm-rest

    Hi Team
    Can you do a detailed video on the set of accessories available for this car please?
    I have been really interested a lot with the c3 car, but i'm not able to figure out the right online resource to look about all the available accessories for this c3 car. If you can help us with that info it will be more helpful.
    I'm especially looking about the option of getting a rear parking camera attached to a feel variant, from Citreon itself. And also will like to know if there is any option to get a rear wiper a d defogger added to it?

    Its all down to price and that too has to be a super amazing, as if its priced high then it has no kit to show for it. So has to be the case of accessories, as poorly priced accessories will feel like e deliberate rip-off.

    • @rohit_paradkar
      @rohit_paradkar 2 года назад +2

  • @TheLazyWandererMys

    I have never been fan of 'features' that mostly determine the sales these days, yet I feel Citroen has made alot of cost cutting. The exposed metal in the boot, the 'cheap' hood release lever,
    no power mirrors top my list of big 'NO's. Also the orange accents, do not work for me, I'm quite sure at least a few will agree with this.
    The routing of cable is a good idea, but these days with fast charging, cables are getting thicker and that is something the company should have accounted for. LEDs are overhyped in my opinion especially for the headlamp, in most cases they only cause glare for oncoming traffic, so halogen isn't a deal breaker. My worry is the price, with Citroen using the word 'premium', I wonder if they will price it on par or above Altroz. The Rivals offer much more, in terms of kit and service network. The C3 does come across as its to be pitted in the Celerio category than Baleno, Altroz, i20. What also matters is ownership experience, with limited reach, how is Citroen planning to cater to smaller markets? Also the cost of ownership. Spares of european cars have always been on the higher side.
    One thing is for sure, all the accessories shops probably will be glad that C3 is bare bones in comparison, good business for them 🤣

    • @rohit_paradkar
      @rohit_paradkar 2 года назад +1

      A car the size of a Baleno/Swift at the price of a Celerio may not be a bad deal after all. A third variant with a bit more functionality like LED lamps, powered mirrors, rear wash and wipe and isofix mounts would be a good bet. An automatic (at least an AMT) is a must too.

    • @TheLazyWandererMys
      @TheLazyWandererMys 2 года назад +1

      @@rohit_paradkar Cost cutting is acceptable if its in places you dont see or things you don't use, like a sunroof (used it 4 times in last 3 years in my car). If they do price it that way (wishful thinking) then it could see a lot of interest in the market especially since power, ride and handling all seem sorted or close to it.

    The problem with most reviewers is that they have all driven bigger, better and more expensive cars, and the review language is always is in comparison with them...for example - it's got that slight vibration on pedal or do get that parking camera, it's sooo much needed or there's that hint of body roll etc etc. Come on please tell how Many ppl who can afford a 9 lakh ex showroom vehicle go for a 6 lakes one??....till date I have not seen even one review which goes from the ground up...for say someone looking fir their second car...moving from an Alto or redi go or Kwid to this or similar car.
    Every reviewer just wants to be suave and Add glitzy language. Please understand the audience better. Man if I owned an i20 before, wouldn't I be going for a better or next level car. What are the chances I go for a car at the same category...is it not what most ppl strive for in life..to go higher...
    Someday I wish the reviewers will think about the alto/nano/kwid owners too...who will go to the next level. Literally no review for them to make them understand how this or any other car would be compared to their existing cars!!!

    Please review cars not just on features offered and speed alone but on reality of who the potential customer is. Not everyone wants speed and big space, or even a gimmicky infotainment, given that many of us have a good TV at home.
    If it's a 10 lakh cars, please compare with others in that price.
    I have a Verna, Hyundais metal is rusting like my car is salted and pickling, and every other day my feature loaded car is giving me very expensive trouble... I now rather roll my widows, adjust the mirrors streching my arms... sure you know what i mean.

    there are soo many omissions in essential features which makes it a tough choice to make. I really like the looks of the car but lack of arm rest, rear AC vents, ancient door handles, the basic looking key, basic rear view mirror (no auto/manual dimming), Cruise control, traction control, etc.
    Citreon needs to understand that Indians want good features in competitive price and with so many omissions I do not think this will get the people's favor it needs at the moment.
    C3 certainly has the potential with his signature looks and powerful engine, I really hope Citreon keeps the price low else there are other better alternatives.

    Should have launched this car 5 years back. Basic features are missing in a top model😕 outdated.
    No electronic mirror adjustments
    No automatic AC
    No automatic wipers
    No alloy wheels
    No adjustable headrest front and back
    No arm rest
    Power window switches not integrated to windows
    Poor metre consol
    No LED headlamps
    Poor steering wheel
    Cheap built plastics
    No armrest in rear seats
    No AC vents in the rear
    Poor gear liver design
    No turn indicators on side view mirrors
    Poor fabric seat covers
    Having said all this.. The pricing matters.
    Otherwise there are many other better cars available in the market.

    Absolute disappointment. So much of cost cutting. The manual side mirror handle reminds of me of my Maruti Zen of 1990's. In today's era automatic orvms are basic features in a car.

    • @rohit_paradkar
      @rohit_paradkar 2 года назад

      Agree on the ORVMs bit. The cost cutting on the materials isn’t my worry, because it doesn’t feel too low rent. But lack of basic features leaves a bit of a sour taste. They really need to nail the pricing.
