Thank you Sir! I went on an hour ride the other night in the cold rain. The visor fogging sucked and almost ruined the trip for me. This is awesome! Thank you very much!

Thanks for the tip, just dropped my brand new bike due to visor fogging in appalling weather, put foot down and road camber meant foot had nowhere to go, bruised ribs and a broken clutch lever later I am looking for solutions, back in the day I always just rode open face and biggles goggles lol. Now I have full face and glasses. Fogging is a serious issue.

works on any mirror/window/visor. gillete shave gel . make sure not to wipe it off with water tho. keep wiping with paper towels untill its clear to see threw with no distortion. works like a charm.

We use a 12mm garden irrigation hose elbow, heated & flatten at one end to make mouth piece & a longer nose exiting my helmet. works mint.. no one can tell when wearing a full face helmet.
And use nose plugs or nose clips used for swimming stops you breathing out your nose.

Thank you for the advice. I'm a new rider and I just got an Arai Quantum helmet and it's awesome....except for it fogging up on me constantly (making riding a motorcycle NOT FUN). This video should help my problem dramatically.

It's so cool that shaving foam does that, very handy. Cool video. I had to have a look why it does that too and it's because it's hydrophilic, helps distribute moisture over the surface instead of it all gathering in one spot or something =P

thanks for the Gillette foam tip..
I tried using colgate.. but apparently the microgranules seems to have screwed around with the clarity a bit.
will try the foam.. and if it works for me, I'll replace my visor with a new one and keep a can in my bike permanently..
    thanks again

Chaitanya Vedak I use toothpaste when diving but googles/masks are glass, toothpaste can definitely scour softer elements.
I need to try this for my helmet. I only put my visor down when it rains and it always fogs up.

Around here our fog is so heavy coating s of any kind don't work. You din't just get a foggy mist, you get a heavy condensation buildup with rivulets of water.

Slice a raw spud in half, rub it on and let it dry. Works perfectly and is cheaper than shaving gel or the official sprays.

Forget all those tips - we all know none of them fix the problem. I now actually enjoy riding in the rain looking out at all that wild weather through a perfectly clear visor - and perfectly clear specs. I close all the vents and exhale all my air through a 100mm long tube with an ID of 6mm and 2mm thick wall. I have a very small funnel with an ID of 4mm into one end of the tube and fashioned to fit my lips. at the other end I have a 3mm hole drilled horizontally through the tube in case the end of the tube happens to touch against something. I happen to have a chin spoiler in my flip up helmet so the tube sits comfortably inside my helmet with the end protruding such that I can easily position it between my lips when needed. I have ridden with ease for 250km with it in my mouth the whole time, breathing in through the nose and out through the tube. When the traffic was pulling over with their hazards going, I was sailing past, semi-trailers and all. I humbly accept all your grateful thanks in advance.
