- Sky News host Rita Panahi has slammed UN climate advisor Ayisha Siddiqa for spewing “racist garbage” and claiming the climate crisis is “white man-made”.
“It is the result of capitalism, years of colonialism, years of virtual oppression,” Ms Siddiqa said.
The climate advisor added that the way to save the planet is by protecting vulnerable communities like black trans women.
“Just ignore the fact that there are a number of Asian countries dumping their rubbish, tonnes of the stuff directly into waterways,” Ms Panahi said.
“It's the white men and their capitalism we need to worry about.”
So now we've gone from "save the whale" to "save the black-trans woman".
