ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Oh Yeah, I love these figures because Jim Lee designs for the X-MEN are definitely very great , However I do hope I can try to get this Cyclops because he is........ $44.99 on Amazon and I might have to get him from GameStop and Jean Grey from Amazon when I can get me the money because my own 3 pack Jean Grey broke 3 years ago, Great review on these figures Shartimus.

It seemed like Legends was bringing their heads into correct proportions awhile back but these newer heads for the male figures seem comically large. What gives?
I thought so too.. the cyke head seems large for the body scale
Heads are accurate to real human proportions, but should be smaller compared to typical comic book proportions. I'm good with them.

I'm going to pass on these, myself. It's the animated style hair, I'm just not digging it.
If I learn that the Warlock wave or Love Triangle Cyclops head could fit on the new body, I may change my mind. Gotta admit, though, Jean's face sculpt never looked better.

To me, the Scott head looks more like Cyclops from X-Men: Evolution. Does his optic blast effect fit in the Astonishing Cyclops head and Astonishing's visor piece fit in the alternate head?
“don’t have the cell shading obviously” no. That’s a novelty. These look way better for the show and comic book fans.

the cyclops weird/smile mouth paint, the huge manotas (hands for those who dont speak spanish) and the ugly Toupée was a solid pass for me i only got it for the head and the blast effect, and i sold it the very next day jaja, great review as always regards from MX
Not much of a Legends guy but picked up the Wolverine from this line on a whim cuz he looked good and I knew I’d never see him again. Didn’t think anything of it till I also found Cyclops. This is basically exactly what I’ve been looking for in classic designs. Since got the Nightcrawler and Jean Grey figs and they’re good as well but Nightcrawler is super basic and my Jean’s ponytail head didn’t have the hair glued down properly but it was an easy fix. Planning to go back and get everything from the first wave but Bishop. His new haircut just kills the character and makes him look like a Fortnite skin. Overall I am loving this new wave. Looking forward to Beast and Jubilee in wave 3 and hopefully we can get a Colossus!

The cyclops figure was almost perfect but that new head sculpt is ass. Would’ve loved to seen a LT 3pk cyclops headswap. I still think that’s the best cyke head sculpt to date.

I expected so much more from these figures, Jean´s articulation is lacking. For me its a sad execution, for example the red magneto had a smaller torso and looks weird and perhaps that is the key word. This wave delivered weird features and maybe that is why the reviews ive seen talk like they are not all on board with the product recieved. U_u
Exactly. All of these figures have some really great things about them, but then something weird on them that makes them a turnoff.

I actually didn't know Astonishing Cyke's optic smoke effect could be removed from the visor so thanks for that!!
I just tried it with the same effect piece (it also comes with Retro Cyclops and Tri-Sentinel Cyclops, they're all the same piece as this one) and it fits perfectly with Astonishing Cyclops.

You exchange the head sculpt for cyclops but couldn’t do it for Jean?
I have the VHS cyclops but his visor is really off… you can see the gap in the head sculpt where the visor is supposed to connect and it doesn’t sit on his nose either! does anyone here know how to fix that?
Heat it up until the glue loosens then carefully pry it up place it where you like and glue it down......just be gentle

I don’t know how they manage a good ball jointed waist but can’t do a diaphragm or double ball neck at all.

Jean with a laughable torso articulation, very long and lanky arms and hair that looks like it's made of Play-Doh for how bad it looks, cartoony or not, it looks bad, the 4-inch toys from 97' have better hair definition.
I don't like the VHS one but she looks miles better than her, 7:56 shows how flat she looks, bad proportions, no shape at all, and the legs look awfully large, worse than a McFarlane figure, Love Triangle Jean remains the best representation of the character, no amount of pinless limbs can save that 97' atrocity, even if the faces look good, the whole headsculpt gets ruined due to the hair.
Cyclops looks fine, but you'll need to pose him with the optic blast, the other head looks bad in every possible way besides the nice golden visor. also lollipop syndrome again.
Hasbro zealots will love these.
